RNC Rule Change In Last-Ditch Effort To Stop Trump

AZ RNC Chair Threats To Expose Trump Campaign Leadership Flaws

Ash-Called-On-To-Resign; Opposition-Growing-To Ban From RNC-Convention

Republican Operatives Launch All-Out Effort To Unbind The Delegates And Deny Trump The Nomination

LD30 PC Timothy Schwartz: Donald Trump was in Phoenix on Saturday...(AZGOP Chairman) Robert Graham comes to the podium and does this 'not so clever' maneuver talk about 'the nominee', never once mentioning the name of Donald J Trump. Then Sheriff Joe comes to the mic and calls out Graham and others who can't come to terms of using Trumps name. Good to see Graham get blistered! Overdue. No one can ever accuse Arpaio of being gutless. It was historic. arpaio-sheriff-joe-calls-out-gutless-republicans

Former AZGOP First Lady Kris Morrissey: I experienced the most disturbing treatment at the Trump rally this weekend. Tom and I were denied entrance when we reported to work although we were scheduled (in writing by the local Trump campaign leadership) for Saturday. We were humiliation at the check-in point for media, VIP, and volunteers when we were told we were “not on the list”. When I tried to show the AZGOP representative our paperwork, we were told that the AZGOP was now in charge and again told we were not on the list. So a former State Chairman and a seasoned veteran campaign volunteer are no longer welcome? A few phone calls later, there was a sudden rush to allow us in with eligibility to sit in the bleachers. We went in, saw the expected confusion and the previous campaign leadership at a loss. We left and did not attend the rally. I have come to the conclusion that this was indicative of our current AZGOP state leadership’s disregard for its own party members. Whether or not they had been given authority by the Trump campaign to take over the campaign presence in Arizona, it was the worst treatment of volunteers possible. To wait until the work was completed; then swoop in the morning of the event, was absurd. To add insult to injury, there were last minute “new” volunteers on the approved “list” who could not have been vetted properly. For what purpose? My only conclusion is that the moment on stage with Mr. Trump was worth the destruction and humiliation of a hard working dedicated group of Trump supporters. We have a tremendous amount of work yet to be done and will remain steadfast in our continued support of Mr. Trump, despite those working against him within the Party in Arizona.

Corey-Lewandowski-Out-As-Trump-Campaign-Manager Donald Trump fired his controversial campaign manager Corey Lewandowski Monday, unleashing a major shake-up as he comes under pressure from his closest advisers -- particularly his family members -- to urgently reset his struggling presidential campaign.

Secret Service: Man At Vegas Rally Said He Wanted To Kill Trump A man arrested at a Donald Trump rally in Las Vegas told authorities he tried to grab an officer's gun so he could kill the candidate, the Secret Service said.

LD13 State Rep. Darin Mitchell, Chairman of the Arizona State Legislative Ways & Means Committee, has been chosen by GOPAC for its 2016 Class of Emerging Leaders. The Class of 25 legislators from across the country are selected for their potential and ability to impact their state and the Republican Party at the leadership level. The Class of Emerging Leaders exemplifies the promising state lawmakers who will lead in their legislative chamber and/or run for higher office. (Mitchell is running to be the next Speaker of the House).

Retired Naval Office Jon Altman: The Phoenix City Council just voted 6-1 to replace Bill Gates with a lifelong Democrat who is a returned city hall bureaucrat making more than $90,000 annually in a city pension.  For the first time in more than 30 years, a Democrat is filling a seat that has been held by Republicans.  Only Jim Waring voted to oppose (Sal DiCiccio was out of town and did not attend).  The replacement election to keep the seat will be held Nov. 8th with the Presidential and Legislative elections.  Under the city charter, if no candidate gets 50% plus 1, there will be a March run-off of the top two. Only one Republican is running out of six candidates.  Two of the six are "independents," but they were originally Democrats. The No. 1 issue facing voters is that the city budget adopted last month’s needs more tax revenue so a potential property tax increase in the next vote, which must be done by the state budget deadline of July 1st.  If the City Council, including their new Democrat member Debra Stark, vote in the tax increase, it will be the first time in almost 30 years that city property taxes have increased for homes and business owners. This column gives the background on the race: if-you-blinked-you, you missed the vote

Rodriguez Assaulted and Dragged Out of Retirement Ceremony: Master Sergeant (MSgt) Charles “Chuck” Roberson is a USAF veteran who retired on April 3, 2016 at Travis Air Force Base. A month before his retirement, Roberson saw Rodriguez perform the flag-folding speech at a friend’s retirement ceremony. Moved by the speech, Roberson personally asked Rodriguez to give the same speech at his own retirement ceremony. Rodriguez readily agreed. Read a script of the speech. When Roberson’s unit commander discovered that Rodriguez would be delivering the flag-folding speech, which mentions “God,” during the ceremony, he attempted to prevent Rodriguez from attending. After learning that he lacked authority to prevent Rodriguez from attending, the commander then told Roberson that Rodriguez could not give the speech. Rodriguez asked Roberson what he should do, and Roberson responded that it was his personal desire that Rodriguez give the flag-folding speech as planned. Watch Roberson tell his story. Roberson and Rodriguez tried to clear the speech through higher authorities at Travis Air Force Base, even offering to place notices on the door informing guests that the word “God” would be mentioned. They never received a response from the authorities. As an Air Force veteran himself, Rodriguez stood firm on his commitment to Roberson. Video at

Town Crier Jim Ely: Taken from the MCRC briefs:  “The National Rifle Association (NRA) is requesting Arizona residents contact Sen John McCain and Sen Jeff Flake asking them not to support gun control legislation. “ Senator John McCain (R- AZ) 202-224-2235 202-228-2862 Senator Jeff Flake (R- AZ) 202-224-4521 202-228-05 We read request like this on the internet many times, from organizations or individuals.  How effective is it?  Unknown!  For real important legislation, state or federal, if our AZ GOP leadership had a good communications officer who contacted the 15 county chairmen who represents the Precinct Committeemen for their input, and then the state chair contacted the appropriate representative noting his title and with the results, wonder what the response would be?  In this case, does one think that McCain or Flake would even listen to Graham???    Leadership???

Pima County GOP Chairman Bill Beard: The Pima County Republican Party is pleased to announce that Connie Pellman has volunteered to be the Office Manager for the party this year. Connie has served in a number of crucial areas on campaigns at the local level. We look forward to a successful election season with Connie's dedicated passion for our candidates. Please let her know if you have any questions regarding the activities of the party or our candidates at 321-1492.

Secretary of State Michelle Reagan: It doesn’t seem possible, but in less than a month, election officials around the state will begin sending out ballots for the August primary to military voters overseas. To make it easier for people to connect with the candidates they’ll see on the ballot in August, we’ve launched a unique platform that displays the 200+ candidates who have filed to run for public office. Our Consolidated Candidate Platform can be easily accessed by visiting www.Arizona.Vote. The website includes candidate bios, contact information, financial disclosures and links to official nomination paperwork. Plus, we’ll be keeping you up-to-date on the action in the courts as candidates file complaints on everything from campaign finance to petition challenges. We feel like people should be better able to inform themselves without bureaucratic red tape, costs and senseless hurdles. We live in a digital age, and we’re doing our best to make sure government acts like it.

Bounty Offered For McCain Tape “… is announcing a $5,000 bounty to find the tape of John McCain praising his N. Vietnamese captors. Why do we know that tape exists? We know, in part, thanks to Ron Unz’s article about McCain’s war service. Family friends of Charles C. Johnson’s grandfather, who was himself a Rear Admiral, have also told Johnson that they heard those broadcasts when stationed abroad….”

Donald-Trumps-Plan-For-Taxes Under Trump’s tax plan, those making up to…

$30,000 per year will pay 1 percent in federal income taxes

      $30,000 to $100,000 will pay 5 percent

$100,000 to $1 million will pay 10 percent

$1 million or above will pay 15 percent
