Bruce-Ash-Republican-Rules-Chairman-Moves-To-Lock-In-Donald-Trump-As-Nominee …Bruce Ash, chairman of the national party's powerful rules committee, will petition to amend the "40d" rule to bar the counting of votes in the televised roll call of states for candidates who are not on the convention ballot. Mr. Ash's proposal would "close and lock the back door to a hijacking of the nomination" by the small but tenacious #NeverTrump and "vote your conscience" factions.

For A Limited Time, Secretary of State Michele Reagan has relaunched the WWII Memorial paver program where individuals or businesses may purchase a commemorative brick to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for freedom around the globe during WWII.  From July 4th, to September 2nd, (the 71st Anniversary of the end of the WWII) people can engrave a paver to be installed this later this fall. Created in 2013, the WWII Memorial in Phoenix includes a steel structure containing the names of nearly 2000 Arizonans who died during the war flanked by historic gun barrels from the USS Arizona and USS Missouri symbolically representing the beginning and end of the war.  Commemorative pavers are positioned along the walkways throughout the memorial. “Since I became Secretary of State, we’ve received several requests from people who would like to purchase a commemorative paver to be included as a part of the WWII Memorial in Wesley Bolin Plaza,” said Reagan.  “The memorial is a wonderful tribute to the men and women of our military and these bricks are a great opportunity for people to recognize their service.” Two sizes of memorial pavers are available.  With a tax-deductible contribution of $125 or $500, participants may engrave up to three or six lines of text on either 4”x8” or 8”x8” bricks.  The deadline to purchase a paver is September 2, the 71st anniversary of Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri marking the end of WWII. To design and purchase a paver, visit: or call the project manager Ashley McCue at (602) 542-6170.

Yesterday afternoon AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham asked voters to oppose the legalization of marijuana in a vote scheduled for the November ballot. "Today's signature-filing by the pro-marijuana lobbyists in Arizona sends a terrible message to Arizona's employers, parents, children, and members of law enforcement. Washington, D.C. and Arizona lobbyists have signaled to our youth that this drug is okay to use recreationally. If passed, the Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act would create irreparable damage in Arizona. The Arizona Republican Party leadership and thousands of grassroots Republicans have opposed the prospects of legalizing recreational marijuana, and our grassroots army will do everything possible to help defeat this initiative in November,” said Graham. The Executive Committee of the Arizona Republican Party voted to oppose the measure over a year ago. Press release here.

Gila County GOP Chairman Gary P Morris: Guns – Question Unanswered: The gun debate continues. Let’s not be mislead. The ultimate goal of Democrats, is to first create a nationwide “gun free zone”, and eventually eliminate the Second Amendment. Guns are used by law-abiding Americans 2.5 million times a year to stop a crime. Those advocating stricter gun controls consistently avoid answering the following question. If gun rights are removed from 2.5 million law-abiding Americans how will these victims stop the murder, rape, assaults, and other violent crime forced upon them? France has VERY strict gun laws. So much so that police officers are not permitted to take their service firearm home or carry it off duty. On June 14th, husband and wife police officers were stabbed to death at their home outside Paris by an Islamic terrorist. Their rights for self-protection were removed by the government and they are now dead. The strict gun laws in France also failed to prevent attacks by Islamic terrorists at a Paris newspaper office and an opera house where nearly 150 people were shot to death in the two incidents. The Orlando night club, the Paris newspaper office, the opera house and even the police officers home were “gun free zones” and people are now dead! For Democrats to demand removal of guns from law abiding Americans when determined Islamic terrorists have, and will likely continue to attack Americans, demonstrates complete disconnect from reality. No country which has imposed strict gun laws has eliminated bad guys from using guns to kill innocents. Our Founding Fathers created the Second Amendment understanding self-protection is a God Given Right. And using a firearm 2.5 million times a year for self-protection is proof enough of the wisdom of the Second Amendment and reflects the benefit of a firearm for self-protection.

Yesterday Afternoon AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham criticized Ann Kirkpatrick for her ongoing support of Obamacare, which has now caused yet another insurance company to drop coverage for individuals rather than continue to lose money on Obamacare mandates. It's another major blow to Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick’s Obamacare as Blue Cross Blue Shield leaves the exchange in Maricopa and Pima counties. This decision will force over 60,000 Arizonans to find new health insurance, adding to the continuous collapse of the failed health care system. “Now more than ever it is clear to Arizona families that Congresswoman Kirkpatrick is nothing but a rubber-stamp for President Obama,” said Graham. "Congresswoman Kirkpatrick’s continued support for Obamacare while Arizona families are facing fewer options and skyrocketing premiums, shows how out of touch she is with Arizona. We cannot afford more liberal Kirkpatrick policies.” See: blue-cross-blue-shield-health-net-drop-affordable-care-act-marketplace-plans

Intelligence And Threat Assessment Lyle J. Rapacki: This week former President Bill Clinton met current US Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the Clinton plane - in a secure area on the west side of Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. In his private jet, Clinton awaited the touchdown of the AG’s plane and had staff summon Lynch for an impromptu meeting aboard the Clinton plane - which she agreed to while the Phoenix Police Department (PPD) awaited the AG’s arrival for her speech and meeting with PPD and the plan for Phoenix PD to become part of the United Nations International Police Force (UNPOL). This meeting is highly questionable since Clinton’s wife is under active investigation by the Department of Justice (Lynch is the boss at DOJ), and Lynch will decide whether to prosecute Clinton’s wife on a variety of possible charges, including but not limited to Treason. But t one must care whether it really matters what the appearance looks like, especially if no national media will say a word or raise a concern, nor will anyone in high elected office.  Such is the life of an Elite…you pretty much get to do whatever the hell you want with no opposition, no accountability, not even a question raised.  Try something like this when you are not a member of the Elite Club and see what happens.  You surely will not be given the benefit of the doubt.  Hillary Clinton raised countless millions of dollars for the Clinton Foundation during her tenure as US Secretary of State.  Millions and into the hundreds of millions of dollars from rogue leaders running rogue nations and regimes who oppose the United States, and even treat our country as an enemy, but whose money is just as spendable as the next guys.  Bill Clinton surely has a stake in keeping Hillary from being indicted.  But I am sure all the former president wanted to share with the current Attorney General was a baby picture of the new Clinton grandchild.

GOP Activist Haydee Dawson: Pleases join my team in the walk to end Lupus scheduled at 9:30 am., Sat., Sept 17 at Paradise Valley Mall, 4568 E Cactus Road, Phoenix. Check in – 8 am, Ceremony – 9:15 am, Walk -9:30 am. Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body). Chronic means that the signs and symptoms tend to last longer than six weeks and often for many years. In lupus, something goes wrong with your immune system, which is the part of the body that fights off viruses, bacteria, and germs ("foreign invaders," like the flu). Normally our immune system produces proteins called antibodies that protect the body from these invaders. Autoimmune means your immune system cannot tell the difference between these foreign invaders and your body’s healthy tissues ("auto" means "self") and creates auto-antibodies that attack and destroy healthy tissue. These auto-antibodies cause inflammation, pain, and damage in various parts of the body. I was fortunate enough to be diagnosed when I was 17 years old as the result of an emergency room visit that left my doctor scratching his head. After months of testing I was told that I had stage II Lupus. Some days my body declares war on itself and thinks it has to fight some serious disease when in reality, I sneezed because someone's cologne did not agree with me. You can imagine the toll this takes on my body physically. There are the days when I cannot move because my muscles are locked down and my brain cannot make the connection needed to make my body function. The good news is that overall, I am one of the lucky ones, my disease took away the dream of being a mother, but in the 21 years since the diagnosis I have led a very well rounded life. Flares do not happen every day and with medication they are mostly under control. Donate to The Wolfpack team page

Ken Cuccinelli II – President Senate Conservatives Fund: Just one day after the House Select Committee on Benghazi issued a scathing report that exposed Hillary Clinton's incompetence and dishonesty, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) openly praised her. "She’s an intelligent and capable person, no question about it," he said. It is outrageous that a GOP leader would say something so patently false and so destructive to his own party. It's almost as if he hopes Hillary Clinton wins so he can keep cutting liberal deals with her. But there's more. Not only is McConnell praising Hillary Clinton in the presidential race, he's also helping Senator Michael Bennett (D-CO) win the Senate race in Colorado. After retired Air Force Lt. Col. Darryl Glenn (R-CO) won the nomination this week, McConnell refused to endorse him and even had his operatives at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) say it's "very unlikely" that they will do anything to help Glenn defeat Bennet. This is one of only two potential pick-up opportunities for Republicans this year and we have an exciting nominee who will bring new energy and diversity to the party, yet McConnell has decided to preemptively surrender. He would rather have Democrats get elected than have more conservatives in the Senate like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee who will stand up to him. Enough is Enough. If you're tired of Republican leaders like Mitch McConnell who continue to surrender to the Democrats, please take action right now by supporting our conservative candidates.

Longtime Hillary Clinton Aide Huma Abedin said in a legal proceeding that Clinton did not want the State Department emails that she sent and received on her private computer server to be accessible to "anybody," according to transcripts released Wednesday. Her comments provided new insights into the highly unusual decision by the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate to operate a private email server in her basement to conduct government business as secretary of state. Abedin also said under oath that she was not aware whether Clinton personally deleted any emails during her tenure as secretary. Abedin told lawyers for the conservative group Judicial Watch in a deposition Monday that she could not recall whether she or Clinton discussed with any State Department officials Clinton's use of her server exclusively for government business. Abedin was Clinton's deputy chief of staff at the State Department, now works with Clinton's president campaign and often travels with the candidate. Abedin used an email account on Clinton's server occasionally for government business, although Abedin also used a government address. "I assumed it was OK to do," she testified… aide: clinton opposed private emails accessible to 'anybody'

Congressman Matt Salmon on the 11th in his 2016 Shrink our Spending Initiative to highlight and cut wasteful taxpayer-funded programs. Upon introduction of his latest bill to privatize the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Rep. Salmon released the following statement: “The St. Lawrence River is a tremendously valuable resource, both to the United States and Canada, for recreation and trade.  The river provides rich inland access for commercial shipping as well as countless boating and fishing opportunities for residents of both of our nations.  In the late 90s, the Canadians determined that privatization of their government management entity would be more effective and efficient for their nation’s taxpayers.  The United States needs to follow suit and privatize the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation to ensure the river remains vibrant for years to come without continually drawing from the taxpayer.” Background: The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation was created by Congress as part of the Wiley-Dondero Act of 1954, as a government-owned entity charged with maintaining and operating a part of the Saint Lawrence Seaway that is within United States territory. In 1998, Canada privatized its government-run maintenance corporation, the Saint Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation.  In 2016, the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation was appropriated $32 million. Eliminating funding for the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation would save $345 million over 10 years. In 2014, Salmon began a program to identify and cut wasteful spending government-wide, because he knew every federal department, office, and agency has wasteful spending within their budgets.  The program was called the “Shrink Our Spending” Initiative and aimed at finding $ 1.5 billion in wasteful spending.  In 2015, the initiative identified and cut over $3 billion in government waste.

Congressman Paul Gosar Reflects On The Third Anniversary Of The Yarnell Hill Fire Tragedy

U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S on the third anniversary of the Yarnell Hill fire which took the lives of 19 Granite Mountain Hotshot firefighters on June 30, 2013: “In the three years since we lost 19 of our bravest heroes, the Prescott community and the families of the victims have dealt with the impossible task of having to rebuild in the face of overwhelming tragedy. However, the sadness that so many others and I still feel today is dwarfed by the pride that belongs to the people of our community for knowing that our fallen Hotshots represent the very best of humanity. Their complete selflessness and courage to answer the call of duty when we needed them most are eternal. Their spirit to boldly act and protect the defenseless will never perish. Although nothing will ever replace the husbands, fathers and sons that were lost, we must continue to honor the Granite Mountain Hotshots and live our lives in a way that is worthy of their sacrifice.” Background:The Yarnell Fire began when lightning struck approximately 30 miles southwest of Prescott, Arizona off Highway 89 on June 28, 2013. The blaze burned approximately 8,400 acres and damaged more than 1,000 structures over a fifteen day period. During the disaster, nineteen firefighters from the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew lost their lives battling the fire. This was the sixth deadliest American firefighter disaster overall and the deadliest wildfire ever in Arizona. Additionally, June 30, 2013, yielded the largest loss in a single day of firefighter life since the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Senator John McCain on reports that Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and Health Net will exit Arizona’s Obamacare marketplace in Maricopa and Pinal counties in 2017: “Today’s news that Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) and Health Net will exit the marketplace in Maricopa and Pinal counties next year is the latest in a series of devastating blows to Arizonans. Now, as a direct result of the President’s failing health care law, 60,000 Arizonans will be forced to find new coverage. The news is particularly troubling given that UnitedHealth and Humana exited Arizona’s marketplace altogether earlier this year after sustaining significant losses for two consecutive years. Cumulatively, over 100,000 Arizonans will be forced to find new coverage when open enrollment begins on November 1st. In addition to fewer options in Maricopa and Pinal counties, BCBSAZ will be the sole insurer in eight Arizona counties in 2017. Worse still, BCBSAZ, which covers 43 percent of the individual marketplace in Arizona, has requested a 65 percent premium increase just to break even. Affordability and competition are quickly becoming a thing of the past in the world of Obamacare. It is imperative that this failed law be repealed and replaced before the Obamacare train completely derails and even more Arizonans are left suffering the consequences.”

Senator John McCain, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, on the Navy’s completion of an investigation into Iran’s seizure of 10 American sailors “I commend Admiral Richardson and the Navy for conducting a thorough investigation that has identified root causes and corrective actions while insisting on accountability in the chain of command. This is an unfortunate day, but one that will hopefully lead to lessons learned that will prevent an incident like this from happening again. The Navy investigation confirms what has been obvious from the beginning: that Iran’s obstruction, boarding, and seizure of sovereign U.S. Navy vessels at gunpoint and the detention, interrogation, and recording of 10 American sailors were flagrant violations of international law. Yet five months later, the Administration has shamefully failed to retract its craven statements of gratitude and praise for Iran’s illegal behavior. This Administration’s groveling to Iran has placed all American service members at greater risk.”
