AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham Response To Delegate Pledge Withdrawal Lori Hack: I was disappointed to hear you have changed your mind about being a delegate and that you have withdrawn your pledge to follow Arizona law and party rules that bind all 58 of Arizona's delegates to the Republican National Convention. I am interpreting your action as your resignation as a member of the Arizona delegation. As you know, the voters in the Arizona Republican Presidential Preference Election cast their vote on March 22 and the result is that Donald Trump beat his closest opponent by a two to one margin, thereby winning all 58 delegates. The role of the delegates is to implement the will of the voters, and you seem to believe you cannot continue in that role. Fortunately, there are elected alternates who are more than willing to support the party, obey the law, and follow the rules. One of them will be taking your place as a delegate. This election is going to be an historical event, and with the help of our party, our Republican nominees are poised for great success in the general election. That's why we must unite together as a party behind our candidates, and take full advantage of the unprecedented level of support we are seeing for our candidates and our party ideals. Regardless of your resignation as a delegate, I am maintaining my call to you and to all Republicans to continue to work as hard as you can to support our nominees across Arizona and our entire country. See Arizona-Delegate-Won’t-Vote-For-Trump-At-Convention:

Town Crier Jim Ely: It is refreshing to note that at times the AZ GOP leadership stands up for WE THE PEOPLE!!

Blogger Barbara Espinosa to Lori Hack: You signed an agreement to support the Republican nominee at the Cleveland Convention. So what you are telling the world is your word isn’t worth crap. That you don’t give a rat’s backside who Arizonans voted by a margin of 2 to 1 you think you know better. And you really are supporting a known liberal Democrat Hillary Clinton who has been at the center of scandals since the 60’s. Can_John_McCain_Survive_The_Year_Of_Trump With a nasty challenge from the right and a credible threat from the left, the Arizona senator is caught in a vise of his own making.

The Arizona Republican Assembly (AzRA) has released its final legislative scorecard. Sentinel Intelligence Services Lyle J. Rapacki: Jon Rappoport, author of Casting call for extras, actors during Cleveland RNC violence is not prone to sensational writing. His work is well researched. This read strongly suggesting a well-orchestrated and devious plan is at work with regards to anarchists focusing on the Republican National Convention as a platform to launch still more disruption. Black Lives Matters leadership had their emails “hacked” and distributed providing a good look behind the curtain as to what is truly playing out; namely, an underestimated plan sometime in the making to bring collapse to our social order, and the Rule of Law ushering in a despotic form of government in the name of restoring order. Some of the Black Lives Matters “hacked” emails, if not all of them taken as a package, are dismissed as folly, ramblings of uneducated twenty-somethings who have an air of expectancy and demand for attention, an emotional rush, and diversion from their otherwise unproductive lives. What is missed is the seriousness and dedication to a Marxist ideology that has been taught and promoted in schools, as well as through the political system in our country. What is not being seen is the abandonment of ideals and values that created and sustained this country. What is little appreciated is the disruption, division, and community organizing rhetoric that has fueled a large segment of people under 30. Rappoport’s writing is troubling and I am grateful to him for pushing the curtain back so we can see the “Wizard” at work. Wake-up America! Or sit back to watch what John and a number of us have been forewarning about for months; the multicity protests of the past days, and the civil unrest about to strike Cleveland next week. When the unruly get going remember bringing a large crow d together to create a giant disturbance is NOT the end game. Collapse of the system is the goal. Creating an environment where the romantic notion of Marxism steps in, and establishes itself in place of the Republic we now enjoy.

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Platform Committee Chair Senator John Barrasso released the following statement on the first day of Platform Committee meetings, where delegates met to consider amendments to the draft of the 2016 Republican Platform: "Today we had a productive and thoughtful discussion driven by the grassroots voices of our party,” said Priebus. “These meetings are democracy in action, with delegates making their case for the policies that reflect our Republican values. Ultimately our delegates will craft a platform all Republicans can be proud of. In their lively discussion today, the delegates deliberated on proposals that represent the diverse views of our Party,” said Barrasso. "Our final platform will outline conservative policies that will reverse course from the failed agenda of President Obama and restore prosperity to our country.”

CONGRESSIONAL STATEMENTS

300 word limit policy. If statements exceeds the limit, it will be edited.

Congressman Matt Salmon after sending a letter to U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, cosigned by 43 members, asking her to appoint a special prosecutor to make a prosecution decision for Sec. Hillary Clinton. “Last week, I called for a special prosecutor to make the determination as to whether or not Secretary Hillary Clinton should be prosecuted for her mishandling of sensitive information.  As I’ve already said, FBI Dir. Comey’s investigation was thorough and complete, but just as with our local law enforcement, it’s the duty of the attorneys to choose what to do with the evidence the police present them; the police chief doesn’t make those calls. Today, joined by 43 of my colleagues, I sent AG Lynch a letter asking her to allow an independent, unbiased individual to review the FBI’s evidence and make that determination—free of any influence from Former President Clinton or the other political individuals surrounding this case.  It’s the bare minimum the American people deserve.” Full text of the letter is available here.

Editor’s Note: Gosar’s statements below were borrowed from his latest district newsletter

Congressman Paul Gosar: On Thursday, I participated in a House Oversight and Government Reform Full Committee hearing which sought to investigate the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) recommendation not to prosecute former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information: Everyday Americans face serious consequences when they break the rules. This week’s oversight hearing revealed there is a clear double standard for the Clintons and their political operation. Even Secretary Clinton’s staff, which undeniably put our national security at risk, is getting away with no punishment for their lawlessness. The precedent established by Hillary Clinton’s illegal activity and the FBI’s recommendation not to prosecute threatens the very foundation of the Rule of Law. As Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis said, "In a government of laws, the existence of the government will be imperiled if it fails to observe the law scrupulously…If government becomes a lawbreaker it breeds contempt for law: it invites every man to become a law unto himself. It invites anarchy." Director James Comey should have recommended Clinton be prosecuted under Section 793 or Section 1024 of title 18. Unfortunately, his recommendation deprived the American people of the opportunity for justice in this matter. Hillary Clinton and the Obama Administration have left behind a shameful legacy of lawlessness resulting in irreparable damage to the idea that all Americans are equal in the eyes of the law.

Congressman Paul Gosar: On Thursday, the House passed my amendment prohibiting bonuses for senior career appointees at the IRS and all other federal agencies that receive funding through the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act. It is unconscionable that Lois Lerner and other dishonest senior officials within the IRS have received more than $100,000 in bonuses in recent years. Committing perjury, purposely disposing of hard drives and more than 24,000 emails in order to stymie an investigation, all while providing an extremely poor level of service to taxpayers doesn’t warrant a single penny in bonus compensation. If signed into law, my amendment will save at least $4 million next fiscal year alone. Federal bureaucrats receiving $100,000 bonuses for working in a lawless administration is a slap in the face to hard-working taxpayers. FreedomWorks key-voted in favor of this common sense amendment and I was honored to have their support. Click HERE to read more.
