Donald Trump, Jr: “The party establishment will do whatever they can to stop my father because they realize if he gets in there, the little game they’re used to playing where everyone takes care of everyone else and everyone makes money off each other and everyone’s doing incredibly well for doing nothing – That all ends.”

Hacking Democracy. The Hack Of Votes This is the hack that proved America's elections can be stolen using a few lines of computer code. The DVD is available at http://www.hackingdemocracy.com/

Activist Gary Ripley: I am sick and tired of Republicans in Congress thinking they are immune from retribution once the primary is over. People like Susan Collins and John McCain illustrate this point perfectly. They become conservative-ish when they are up for reelection, then move as quickly as possible to their “friends” positions across the aisle in Congress. What has the average conservative activist done when these liberal and establishment friendly republicans won their respective elections? We have voted for them. What do they do when there is a possible conservative upstart? They attack from the left like the Democrats they are, while abusing and twisting the word “conservative” like they are the ones who own the rights to define conservative to mean whatever they want it to mean. See Thad Cochran vs Chris McDaniel and all the campaigning against the racist conservatives and how they want to cut po’ black folk’s welfare. If they fail to win the primary, they resolve themselves to destroy the candidate that beats them. See the Republicans in Nevada with Sharon Angle, Christine O’Donnell in Delaware, Joe Miller in Alaska, Richard Mourdock in Indiana, and yes, even Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul. I propose that we start returning the favor, starting with the democrat supporting snakes in our own party who are refusing to endorse their party’s nominee or are absurdly endorsing any other politician than Donald Trump for president.

LD 13 PC RJ Morris: Even if Donald Trump said that he was from "Mars," it is totally unacceptable for any "Republican Senator, or 'other' (a Senator from New York), to say that they will support a Democratic candidate, especially when the whole idea is to vote for Constitutional, freedom loving, and responsible people.  We need to be in the White House and Senate, then take care of any slight mis-alignments that may or may not be there with any one individual candidate.

Activist Ron Gosselin: The McCarran-Walter Act Of 1952 has been law for over 60 years. Apparently, those we elect to Washington haven’t the slightest idea the law exists. Donald Trump was severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims). The criticisms condemned the suggestion as Un-American, dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist. Congressmen and Senators swore that they would never allow such legislation, and the President called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional. As Gomer Pyle would say, “Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!”  The selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on several occasions. The McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 allows for the "Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by the President.

This Law was signed by President Harry Truman to prevent Nazis and Communist from entering the Country. Whenever the President finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States to be detrimental to the interests of the United States , the President may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."
The Act was utilized by President Jimmy Carter in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he did more.  He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a bunch.  Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States in 1979. It is of note that the act requires that an applicant for immigration "must be of good moral character and attached to the principles of the Constitution".

Since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, technically, all Muslims should be refused immigration. Authenticated at: http://library.uwb.edu/static/ USimmigration/1952_ immigration_and_nationality_act.html

The Maricopa County Republicans Committee (MCRC) Dinner Awards Guidelines have been announced by MCRC Executive Director April Riggins: All awards are based on actions taken by prospective recipients in the year preceding the actual year that the Awards Dinner is held. EXAMPLE: The 2011 awards are given as the result of actions taken during CY2010. One of the reasons that a dinner is held is to recognize the hard work of our Precinct Committeemen and honor them for their dedication and commitment under what are, sometimes, trying circumstances. There are four (4) levels of awards:

1.  CERTIFICATES OF ACHIEVEMENT – To be presented to precinct committeemen who have done an outstanding job during the previous year.  These recipients are selected by the District.  One Certificate will be awarded for every twenty-five (25) precinct committeemen, or major portion thereof, within the District.   Maximum of eight (8) Certificates per District.

2.  VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD-- One (1) award to be presented to the most outstanding volunteer in each District.

3.  THE LINCOLN BUST—To be presented to the one person selected by the Awards Committee to receive the County’s highest award.  Only one (1) Lincoln Bust will be presented in the Area.  Only one award will be made to an individual in a lifetime.  The following criteria will apply:

A.       Must be an elected Precinct Committeeman

B.       Neither elected public officials nor current District Chairmen are   eligible

C.       Give priority for work done in the Precincts

D.       Consider the number of years served as a Precinct Committeeman

E.       Consider other party activities engaged in

F.       Consider participation in Community and Civic Activities

G.       Paid staff are not eligible for award

4.  THE REAGAN PLAQUE—To be presented to a person meeting the same general criteria as the Lincoln Bust with the exception that the Reagan Award may be given to someone who has not yet exhibited a lifetime of service to the Party, and an individual may, conceivable, receive more than one Reagan Award in their lifetime.

The Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) has extended the deadline to Aug 20 for submitting award nominations (via the legislative district (LD) chairmen) for the Fall Awards Dinner. Date/location tba. All nominee recommendations must be submitted by Aug 20 to Frank Thorwald at frankthorwalk@hotmail.com Three new awards will be given related to recruitment and activity of new precinct committeemen (PCs). Nominees for the “Most Valuable PC Of The Year,” along with the annual Lifetime Lincoln Bust and Reagan Bust Service awards are also being sought. Each LD chairman is asked to submit one name. PCs can nominate any club for the “Outstanding Club for 2016” award. For more information contact Thorwald.

Reminder To Early Voters: If you are supporting a qualified write-in candidate in a contested precinct committeeman precinct, be sure to print their name on the ballot and fill in the arrow – the same way you filled in the arrows for your favorite candidates who were printed on the ballot. Be sure to sign the outside of the envelope.

Yesterday, In Light Of New Pay-To-Play Evidence, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus called on the State Department to release thousands of withheld Hillary Clinton work-related emails that she deleted and lied about the existence of. These emails were recovered in the FBI’s criminal investigation, and turned over to the State Department, which now is considering not releasing them until after the election. “With growing evidence of pay-to-play relationships between Clinton’s State Department and her family foundation, the State Department owes it to the American people to release the thousands of work-related emails she failed to turn over before voters head to the polls,” said Priebus. "Clinton has repeatedly looked in the eyes of the American people and lied to their face in order to hide her unethical and reckless conduct as secretary of state while furthering her own self-interest. If the State Department continues to withhold these emails, Hillary Clinton should demand they be released, or release them herself. Anything less than a full release of these public records before voting begins will only further prove that we have a rigged system that has one set of rules political elites and another for everyone else. Our country cannot afford further erosion of the public’s faith in our institutions because of the unseemly and deep collusion between the Obama Administration and their anointed successor Hillary Clinton.”

Yesterday The Republican National Committee (RNC) released “We Can’t Afford A Clinton Presidency,” a new video highlighting how Hillary Clinton will only extend President Obama’s disastrous domestic and foreign policy agenda which America can no longer afford.   “Under President Obama, America has suffered a decline in prosperity and security. A Hillary Clinton presidency would only mean a third term of failure, with an economy stuck in neutral, the growth of ISIS around the world, and a liberal Supreme Court,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “The time is now to elect Donald Trump president so we can grow wages and jobs, stop radical Islamic terrorism, and ensure a bright future for our families and our freedoms.”   See the accompanying briefing from RNC Research here.

CANDIDATE COMMENTARY

Please comply with the 300 word limit policy. If statements exceeds the limit,

it will be edited. Briefs does not post endorsements.

Congressional candidate Martha McSally: We wanted to reach out to you before the big day — Arizona primary day. We're happy to announce that we're offering exclusive Team McSally gear to our friends and supporters. Chip in and be the first to receive Offer runs out Aug 30.
Chandler City Council candidate Nora Ellen: With early voting under way, I wanted to recap what I believe are the four key issues in the race for Chandler City Council:

  • Job creation, economic development, and business retention
  • Maintaining our neighborhoods
  • Maintaining top notch public safety
  • Government accountability, transparency, and fiscal health

I believe in these key issues so much that I have made them the pillars of my re-election campaign. The City of Chandler has a great track record of being one of the state’s best run cities, but we simply can’t rest on our laurels. We have to continue the incredible work ethic and fiscal responsibility that helped Chandler grow so robustly in the first place. That involves aggressively recruiting businesses to set up shop in Chandler. That includes maintaining our high quality, yet affordable city services. And that means doubling down on the transparency and accountability needed to manage tax dollars responsibly.

To spread the word about our vision for Chandler, please consider:

  • Forwarding this email to 5 friends
  • Sharing on social media that the City Council team of Nora Ellen, Matt Eberle, and Gregg Pekau are the best candidates in this race to continue Chandler’s successful fiscal policies
  • And of course, to cast your votes for Nora Ellen, Matt Eberle, and Gregg Pekau for Chandler City Council. Thank you so much for your support!

Congressional candidate Paul Babeu: On election night do we want to be left wondering: what if? What if we walked that one extra door? What if we called one more voter? What if we raised one more dollar? We aren't the kind of team that's going to be left wondering what if. Because of supporters like you, I know we will have given everything we can to make victory possible. I don’t need to tell you what’s at stake. You already know. Thank you for standing with me, ensuring we won’t have any what ifs.
