Troubles-For-Secretary-Of-States-Election-Results-Website Arizonans wanting to use the state's Secretary of State's election results website ran into some trouble on Tuesday night.

2016-Primary-Election Results From SOS Office

Maricopa County: City, Town And School Board Races Results

LD13 House candidate Ray Kouns got quite a surprise when he went to the polls in Aguila yesterday morning. The first voter through the door, he went through the routine to get his ballot – only to discover he had been handed a Democrat ballot by the poll worker. It seems the screen went blue when she registered him in. He immediately brought it to the poll workers attention and was given a Republican ballot… but it leaves Kouns wondering how many other voters received wrong ballots and never know the difference because they weren’t really familiar with the candidates? Kouns immediately alerted the Secretary of State’s office. SOS Michele Reagan had her hands full yesterday. The SOS office was still struggling with the new website system hours after the polls closed last night.

Some Folks Are Questioning why candidate Alex Meluskey’s pic popped up at the top of the SOS website US senate tallies early last night -- in light of Meluskey’s suspending his campaign several weeks ago. It seems Meluskey never withdraw at the SOS office, so the SOS couldn’t remove him from the candidate line up. Nor did Meluskey officially tossed his backing to second place Kelli Ward, which left some pols scratching their heads. Neither did Clair Van Steenwyk – who was running for two public offices at the same time (That’s another head scratcher – CD8 incumbent Trent Franks soundly beat Van Steenwyk again this time around)… Add up the tallies for Meluskey, Ward and Van Steenwyk and Sen John McCain still garnered more votes than the combined three challengers. Gotta hand it to Ward, she doesn’t have the name recognition nor deep pockets that McCain does, but she gave the ole fox some headaches along the way.

Voters Will Be Relieved that their phones aren’t constantly ringing with McCain pollsters for a few days. The peace and quiet won’t last long as McCain goes head to head with Demo Ann Kirkpatrick. Make no mistake, his battle against Kelli Ward won’t hold a candle to the battle the Dems will put up to retire McCain to his rocking chair!

Will Christine Jones move into CD5 now that she has beaten out her challengers who reside within their district??

In Spite Of Whispers that former Sen Don Shooter of Yuma spends more time at his wife’s condo in Phoenix than in the Yuma apartment he claims he resides in, Shooter was the top vote getter in the LD13 House race. Shooter replaces Steve Montenegro, who moved into Shooter former position as a senator.

LD13’s M&M team of Steve Montenegro and Darin Mitchell will be returning to 1700 W Washington for another term. However, this time Montenegro will be in a senate seat. Mitchell remains in the House.

LD5 Sen Sonny Borrelli’s recorded f-bomb explosion didn’t seem to hurt him much, as he beat out former legislator Ron Gould, who has been the Mohave County Republican Chair.

LD18 Senate candidate Frank Schmuck retired Sen Jeff Dial last night in spite of last minute efforts by Dial’s Gang of Five (recognized well-known PCs) who were photographed putting up late night double decker anti-Schmuck signs a couple of nights ago.

Corporation Commissioner Robert Burns must be doing something right. He was the top vote getter in that controversial race. Ironically, Rick Gray and Al Melvin, who were fighting Burns the hardest with robo calls ended up with the least votes.

The Wickenburg Poll Watcher never received her authorized poll watcher paper work, although MCRC Chairman Tyler Bowyer mailed it from metro-Phoenix last week.

CD3 Jeff Knox: Since Edna San Miguel withdrew from the CD 3 race, has there been any talk about someone stepping up as a write-in, just so people can at least wave a finger at Comrade Raul, rather than just skipping that part of the ballot? I'm considering filing. Any thoughts?

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus “I congratulate Senator McCain and Senator Rubio on well-earned victories. Both senators have distinguished themselves as leaders in the Republican Party, and Americans have been well-served by their steadfast commitment to prosperity, security, and freedom. I look forward to them winning their general election races and returning to the Senate.”

GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump is set to give a speech clarifying his policy in Arizona on Wed, Aug 31, 2016. AZ Congressman Trent Franks discussed Trump’s speech with Neil Cavuto yesterday morning. Trumps speech is all the more necessary as U.S. Southern Command recently confirmed Sunni extremists are infiltrating our southern border with the help of alien smuggling networks, according to Franks. “Border security and national security are inextricably linked. A porous border is an open invitation to those who wish to harm America, and for too long our borders have been an inviting access point for drug smugglers, human traffickers, and potential terrorists. Much like in a surgical procedure, the first step undeniably must be to stop the bleeding. Our borders must be secured and every illegal immigrant in the United States must be accounted for,” according to Franks.

Former Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman Lyle Tuttle: You’ll find this interesting. "Debbie Wasserman Schultz was the co-chair of Hillary's 2008 presidential run, where she lost the nomination to Obama. So, in order to lock down the nomination for 2016, Hillary would've had to put Schultz in charge of the DNC and manipulate it from within. In order for this corruption scheme to work, the Clintons would have needed first to, not only get the current DNC chair at the time to step down, but also get them to recommend Schultz for the position. A big request. And the Clintons would have likely needed to promise a powerful favor to that DNC chair, something more prestigious than being head of the Democratic party. So who was that person and what did they get in return? The previous chair of the DNC prior to Debbie Wasserman Schultz was...Tim Kaine Let that sink in for a moment
