Congressman Trent Franks: "Early voting in Arizona begins Wed, Oct 12, and continues through Nov 4. Residents can also vote by mail by calling or emailing their county recorder to request a ballot by mail no later than 5pm on Oct 28. It is vital that Arizona votes for Donald Trump, because Hillary plans to undermine our Constitution, raise or taxes and increase unvetted Syrian refugees by 550 percent. Donald Trump will Make America Great Again by protecting our Constitution, cutting taxes, securing our borders, and bringing back jobs back."
AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham: "Arizona, it's time to vote for change. Wed, Oct 12, is the first day of early voting and it continues through Nov 4. Want to vote by mail? Call or email your county recorder no later than 5PM on Oct 28 to request a ballot by mail. Hillary Clinton is not fit to be President, and it is critical that Arizona not allow her back in the White House to bring us a third Obama term. Donald Trump will stop the slow growth policies of Clinton/Obama, defend our country from threats abroad, and bring jobs back to America."
Reminder: Your Mail-In Ballots Should Be Arriving in your mail box this week. Mail-in ballots taken to the polls will be counted but LATER for the final count. Every vote counts!

Trump Throws Off 'Shackles' With Attacks On GOP, Clinton: Abandoned by many in his party, Donald Trump is embracing open warfare against his Republican critics and making clear he intends to hold nothing back in the final weeks of the presidential race. Trump set the tone with a tweet early Tuesday morning, declaring himself a candidate unbound. “It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to,” he wrote. A Record 45,294 Arizonans Registered Monday to vote in the general election through ServiceArizona.com, the customer website offered by the Arizona Department of Transportation s Motor Vehicle Division. Beans Spilled On Hillary's 'Hate' For Americans If you're an "everyday American" who works hard, follows the law and pays taxes to help support everyone else who doesn't, Hillary Clinton has a definite opinion about you. Leaked emails from her campaign expose what Hillary is saying behind the backs of the very people she's counting on to elect her president, and "angry white guys" are on her mind too …
Donald Trump Blasted Speaker Paul Ryan in an interview with "The O'Reilly Factor," stating that he no longer wants the Wisconsin Republican's support. He also speculated that if he wins in November, maybe Ryan will “be in a different position.” Read the full story here
Yesterday, Sheriff Joe Arpaio Response To The Obama Department Of Justice Decision to file charges of criminal contempt: “First and foremost, it is clear that the corrupt Obama Justice Department is trying to influence my re-election as Sheriff of Maricopa County. It is no coincidence that this announcement comes 28 days before the election and the day before early voting starts. It is a blatant abuse of power and the people of Maricopa County should be as outraged as I am. “As your elected Sheriff, my job is to enforce the law. Because enforcing illegal immigration laws is not politically correct, within the first 100 days of taking office, Obama put then-Attorney General Eric Holder in charge of pursuing a ‘racial profiling’ case against me – among other trumped up, failed legal pursuits – and eight years later they’re still pursuing the case. “Now, with Obama on his way out of office, he and DOJ officials know this is their last shot at taking me down. This highly unusual charge of criminal contempt against an elected local official should be seen for what is really is: a political maneuver by a corrupt Administration to damage me politically and a continuation of its War on Cops. “There is a delicious irony here: Hillary Clinton can jeopardize national security and destroy evidence; Lois Lerner can violate the civil rights of thousands of citizens; Eric Holder can be held in contempt of Congress; and none of them faced any consequences. But someone like me who dares enforce the Rule of Law is held to a much different standard. “While the actions of this administration are deplorable, I will fight this case tooth and nail because I know these charges are rubbish. In the end, I am confident I will be exonerated. Let me be clear: I am running for a seventh term as your Sheriff and I believe the voters of this county will stand with me in this fight.”

LD27 PC Art Olivas: Why do we have all these illegals stomping on our flag and protesting Sheriff Joe and the police for enforcing our laws? Where is Bill Montgomery and is he enforcing policies that corrupted lawyers turn judge’s force on us? They all put their hand on the Bible and swear to obey the constitution and protect our citizens. Yet we the U.S. citizens are forced to feed, house, educate and medicate all these illegal that won't fix their own country - yet shamelessly come here demanding royal treatment. When in their own country their government would kill them for a lot less. Who got us in this mess? The corrupted self-serving politicians that we have sent to Washington over the years! The Democrats and Republicans In Name (RINO;s) Only bought by the lobbyist and special interest. "Now hear this" - reelect no one that has been in congress or the senate over 2 terms as they will keep giving us lip serves and the same song and dance! These RINOS are like the illegals; they won't go away on their own!! We have to get rid of them. In order to save what we have left of our country. We have to unite and meet in them and counter protest because if you give them the streets you may not be able to take them back. They may put us in jail for offending the illegals!! GET RID OF THE SNAKES IN THE GRASS! This I believe. Art Olivas you can take this to the bank!

Current numbers indicate increase of 119K registered voters: With just 27 days until the 2016 General Election, Arizona’s Secretary of State Michele Reagan has announced the unofficial voter registration totals before the detailed Voter Registration Report is issued later this month. Since the last report on August 22, statewide voter registration has increased by 119,270 with all recognized parties enjoying an increase in membership. The Democratic Party increased 35,564, Republicans rose 30,671, Libertarians 1,744 and the Green Party added 431. The state’s so-called “independents” or those who have not designated a recognized party also grew by 50,860.“It’s great to see so many people register to vote for such an important election,” said Secretary Reagan. “While the official number will be announced in a few weeks, it’s wonderful to see this level of interest. Our website www.Arizona.Vote experienced more than 23,000 visitors since late September. Yesterday alone, we had more than 9,000 visits to the site. With so many people talking about year’s election it seems people are really energized to participate. “Our focus now shifts from registration to participation. Early ballots go out tomorrow, October 12 and voters can begin casting their ballot at early voting sites within their county around the state. For those who are not a part of the Permanent Early Voter List, each County has begun accepting requests for an early ballot to be sent to a voter’s home. We encourage voters to return their early ballot as soon as they can via the U.S. Postal Service. We recommend no later than a week before the election to be sure it will be received by Tuesday, November 8. Ballots received after Election Day will not be counted. Voters can find information about the election, candidates and ballot measures on www.Arizona.Vote. The final registration report with detailed registration information from each county will be issued shortly before the election.
The Arizona Project office is a AZGOP Victory Center for north Phoenix (3375 E Shea Blvd. Suite 2B, Phoenix, 85028). Call 480.707.9043 for best times to make campaign phone calls to perspective voters. AP Chair Ron Ludders says they also have yard signs, window signs, literature, bumpers stickers, tee-shirts, buttons snf materials to hand out when walking precincts with a GOP walkbook, and voter registration cards. Each Saturday a tent is set in the our parking lot to better serve voters. They could use some extra hands to help with setup.

So Much For Loyalty: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is advising Republican senators to use their own game plans to deal with a possible collapse of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign. McConnell is telling vulnerable GOP senators to focus on their own states and races and avoid getting swept up in the controversy swirling around Trump, GOP sources say. Read the full story here
Chelsea-Clinton Flagged 'Serious Concerns' About Clinton Foundation Conflicts: Hacked emails reveal bitter infighting about how to deal with a Clinton-linked consulting firm's business.
Kirkpatrick on McCain: “…McCain made one thing perfectly clear at last night’s debate: In Washington, he’s not committed to you. He’s committed to himself. McCain’s desperately clinging to his political career. That’s why he jumped on the Trump train and stayed on for as long as he did. It’s why he puts the special interests above Arizona families. He’s not a “maverick” anymore. He’s a party loyalist. And he has to go.”
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus on the ABC News report of the Clinton State Department directing Haiti recovery efforts to Clinton Foundation donors following the 2010 earthquake: “These new revelations from Hillary Clinton’s own aides are the clearest proof yet the pay-to-play culture that dominated her State Department knew no limits,” said Priebus. “As a suffering nation faced ruin and livelihoods were at stake, Clinton allies in the government and the Clinton Foundation couldn’t handle aid funds properly without ensuring that Bill and Hillary’s friends and donors got a cut of the action. This wasn’t common Clinton graft. This was profiting off of a crisis. This sordid use of political stature to maximize personal gain undermined the very ethics agreements intended to stop conflicts of interest between Hillary Clinton’s State Department and the Clinton Foundation. With Haiti once again suffering tragedy as a result of a natural disaster, we cannot afford to let history repeat itself with the Clintons in the White House.”

Jon's Story KVOA has aired a story by investigative reporter Matthew Schwartz about 20-year old Tucson resident Jon Iniquez – who dreamed of becoming a Marine since he was young - but because of a debt of nearly $17,000 transferred to him by the Social Security Administration (SSA), (accrued due to no fault of his own), Iniquez was prevented from enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps. Iniquez reached out to US Congresswoman Martha McSally to help secure a waiver from SSA that would eliminate the debt and allow him to enlist as a Marine. Only a few months away from missing his ship-out date, Iniquez received two pieces of good news: First, that a generous resident who had seen Iniquez’s story offered to pay off his debt with a $17,000 check and, second, that McSally’s office had secured the waiver from SSA. As a result, his debt was eliminated, he was allowed to keep the $17,000 check to put towards his future, and he’s now free to become a Marine.
The ASU Young College Republicans will meet a 6:30 pm., Thurs., to discuss issues such as Illegal Immigration, immigration reform, trade, TPP, NAFTA, Planned Parenthood, and health care at BAC 324. Moderators are Kenneth Klein & Cody Friedland
Town Crier Jim Ely: We see RNC’s-Bruce-Ash-Of-Tucson-Maintains-Trump-Support that the leaders of the AZ GOP makes sense. First off, what normal heterosexual male adult is not enamored with a beautiful female, some more than others? (mother nature) Now, what has that got to do with one dealing with ISIS?? And, there are dozens of other comparisons that could be mentioned. If we conservatives are to prevail this election time we must learn to separate the ‘wheat from the chaff’, and not whether we like Trumps persona or not! And, we see that our federal senators and some federal reps can’t do that. Personal power and Perks are more important to them than the “WE THE PEOPLE” that they swore to represent! You know, when the party (AZ GOP state committeemen) voted to censor Senator McCain and still McCain won the primary, just shows one how ineffective the AZ GOP can be. So, let’s just hope and pray that this general election the AZ GOP can and will prevail with the will of WE THE PEOPLE and to the electoral college.

Congressional candidate Paul Babeu: There’s a debt that can never be paid. It’s a debt earned through sleepless nights, placing oneself in danger, and risking everything for a nation. Our military men and women give our nation more than we can ever hope to give back, but we have to give our best. We’re not. Veterans are waiting months for appointments with the VA. When they finally see a doctor they’re not receiving the best care. Things became so dire for one hero, he took his own life in the parking lot of a VA hospital. I served in our military, and I know the sacrifices our veterans made. They should never be left wondering if their country even cares for them. I promise to stand by our veterans, to fight to ensure they receive the care they deserve, and to put an end to heartbreaking stories of heroes left behind and forgotten by the country they fought for. Join me on Facebook and Twitter, and forward this email to 5 friends so we may fight this important battle together. We can’t afford more of the same for our veterans.
Congresswoman Martha McSally: I was honored to carry the flag at the University of Arizona as part of the Team Red, White & Blue Old Glory Relay. Tucson is 1 of 62 teams charged with moving Old Glory 4,216 miles from Redmond, Washington, where it began on Sept 11, to its finish line in Tampa, Florida. The flag was retired during a color ceremony led by the UA ROTC and local World War II veteran Stu Moser. I’ll lead our second hearing of the Working Group on Women in the 21st Century Workforce at 10:30am Friday, featuring testimony from local witnesses and examine barriers women face to getting ahead in the workforce.

I recently introduced legislation to re-designate Chiricahua a national park. See how this designation would boost tourism, grow our economy, and add more jobs in Southern Arizona HERE. My team of caseworkers recovered over $1 million for Southern Arizonans through constituent casework efforts. LD28 candidate Kate Brophy McGee: Allegations, half-truths, and cherry-picked data are muddying the LD28 Senate race. Statements offer voters false choices about state spending priorities. I’m setting the record straight:
- Claim: “And you know I will continue to run a positive campaign.” – Eric Meyer. Truth: Meyer has contributed nearly $80,000 in campaign contributions to Democrat organizations that pool various money sources to fund negative, biased mailers that misrepresent my record.
- Claim: Meyer’s bills never gets a hearing. Truth: In the past 10 years, 100 Democrats have worked in a bipartisan fashion to pass their own sponsored legislation benefitting Arizonans. Meyer has never sponsored a bill of his own that passed into law.
- Claim: I miss too many votes to represent our district. Truth: Meyer has missed 321 votes, nearly 100 votes more, (or 30% more), than I have missed. My missed votes were due to medically confirmed illness. The day after knee surgery (against my doctor’s orders), I showed up to vote for $3.5 billion in new funding for public education. For many of his missed votes, Meyer has signed in as “Present” at the Capitol, making him eligible for per diem pay. He missed votes on 30 education, 33 health-related, 8 gun, 3 immigration, 1 union and the Uber bill.
- Claim: I support private prisons. Truth: I succeeded in diverting private prison funding to transition programs in the FY 2017 budget. Meyer voted against that policy.
- Claim: Meyer claims he supports more funding for public education. Truth: Meyer voted against the 1 cent sales tax that provided $3 billion to bridge education funding and other vital services through the Great Recession. I supported it. Meyer voted against Prop 123 which provides $3.5 billion in new funding to public education. I voted for it. Meyer voted against $266 million in new school spending in just the FY17 budget alone. I succeeded in getting that new funding. Meyer voted against nearly $7 billion in funding to support public education.
Corporation Commission candidate Andy Tobin: Last Friday afternoon our campaign received news from the Arizona Republic. Out of a field of five candidates for the Arizona Corporation Commission, our campaign came in second. In the most recent poll of the race, conducted by Sherpa Public Affairs, the results were as follows:
- 23.3% would vote for Commissioner Bob Burns
- 22.2% would vote for me, Andy Tobin
- 19.8% would vote for Boyd Dunn
While team Tobin is optimistic about the coming election, the results showed the race extremely close, with 50% of voters undecided. We need to support and work for all of our Republican candidates. Why? Because unity matters when we are working to provide reliable power at affordable rates for every Arizona family and business .Folks, early ballots are on their way to your mailboxes, and there are 28 days until the election, we still have more work to do! Our campaign is not over yet and we could use your support. We need resources to get our message out to continue our success. visit our website. And, if you would like updates from the campaign trail, be sure to “Like” us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter. Thank you so much for your support, and I look forward to continuing to represent you, the hardworking taxpayers, on the Arizona Corporation Commission.
