Zack Taylor, Chairman NAFBPO.org: Transnational Criminals are present throughout the Americas. Nowhere can they flourish without political protection. This is just as true in the United States as elsewhere. Open Borders + Sanctuary Cities = Organized Transnational Crime = Illegal Drugs in the United States = Money to corrupt the political process. It has been known for centuries that one of the most effective ways to profilerate criminal activity is to corrupt politicians with money. We have figured it out. Wikileaks has figured it out. Have you? Here is yet another example:

The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) is not surprised that the U.S. Department of Justice has re-opened the investigation into Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State. Women across the United States have complained of the Clinton corruption that seems so pervasive in many aspects of her life and in her email fiasco, NFRW President Carrie Almond said. "NFRW leaders have traveled 29,000 miles to 39 states and rallied with over 300,000 members and volunteers in support of the Trump-Pence Ticket on the 2016 'Destination: White House' tour. Countless numbers of Americans are fed up with the Clinton scandals," Almond said. "NFRW members can't believe anyone would vote for Hillary Clinton, yet moreover, they are excited about the Trump team's extremely positive message and platform issues! This news truly warrants a serious, thorough investigation, and I hope the results will help the American people regain some confidence in our justice system." WikiLeaks claims to have even more information that is not a part of what is being reported today. The NFRW believes the American people need to know the truth about Hillary Clinton. "These scandals are not going away," Almond said. "The American people don't want to elect a president who will potentially be under indictment while taking the Oath of Office." Founded in 1938, the NFRW proudly represents the party that first made it possible for women to vote in the U.S. Today, the NFRW works to increase the effectiveness and relevance of women in the cause of good government. Our mission remains to recruit and elect Republican candidates, promote the principles of the Republican Party, educate the public and inform the media. See www.nfrw.org.
Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL) Update: Elections Have Consequences - This coming Election Day, when you cast your vote for who will be the President for the next 4 years, you are also casting a vote on who will determine Supreme Court decisions for the next several decades. Our next President will soon appoint a replacement for Justice Antonin Scalia who passed away in February at the age of 79. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the eldest member of the court celebrated her 83rd birthday in March of this year. Her health is fragile. Justice Anthony Kennedy turned 80 in July. Justice Stephen Breyer is 78. There is a strong possibility that our next President will be appointing replacements for several Justices during their first term.
(AzCDL) Update: The Future Of The Second Amendment Is At Stake - The Second Amendment says that the right to “keep and bear arms” shall not be infringed. In 2008, by a very narrow margin, the Supreme Court in D.C. v. Heller affirmed that the Second Amendment is an individual right. It was a 5-4 decision with Justices Scalia, Roberts, Kennedy, Thomas and Alito in the majority. Justices Stevens, Souter, Ginsberg and Breyer dissented.D.C. v. Heller only affirmed that the Second Amendment guarantees the right to possess (i.e., “keep”) a firearm - in your home. The decision did not address whether or not you have the right to “bear arms.” There are cases heading to the Supreme Court that will ask the Court to address whether the Second Amendment protects the right to “carry” a firearm. There are other cases that could allow the court to redefine the Heller decision. Whoever appoints the replacement for Justice Scalia will determine the fate of the Second Amendment. Who do you want that person to be?
(AzCDL) Update: Who Do You Want Appointing Supreme Court Justices? - Of all those running for president, only two have a realistic chance at being elected. One of them has repeatedly stated that the Heller decision was “wrongly decided.” They also said that America’s gun laws should emulate Great Britain’s and Australia’s. Both of these countries have abolished the ownership of most firearms and have engaged in forcible confiscation of privately owned firearms. Meanwhile, the other major party candidate for president has repeatedly stated their support for the Second Amendment, has a concealed weapons permit and has been endorsed by the NRA. Who do you want to determine who is on the Supreme Court and will decide the fate of the Second Amendment? If you honestly care about your right to keep and bear arms, it is imperative that you cast your vote on Election Day to protect the future of the Second Amendment. These alerts are a project of the Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL), an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan grassroots organization.
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement on the FBI’s discovery of new emails from Hillary Clinton’s secret server and the subsequent reopening of their investigation into the matter: "The FBI’s decision to reopen their criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s secret email server just eleven days before the election shows how serious this discovery must be. This stunning development raises serious questions about what records may not have been turned over and why, and whether they show intent to violate the law. What’s indisputable is that Hillary Clinton jeopardized classified information on thousands of occasions in her reckless attempt to hide pay-to-play corruption at her State Department. This alone should be disqualifying for anyone seeking the presidency, a job that is supposed to begin each morning with a top secret intelligence briefing.”
FBI Director James Comey says the bureau is reviewing new emails related to Hillary Clinton's time as secretary of state, according to a letter sent to eight congressional committee chairmen, a surprise development with 11 days before the election. After recommending this year that the Department of Justice not press charges against the Secretary of State, Comey said in the letter that "recent developments" urged him to take another look. "In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear pertinent to the investigation," he said.

ABC, NBC Glorify Michelle Obama While Downplaying ‘Bill Clinton Inc.’ WikiLeaks unveiled yet another highly damaging e-mail for the Clinton campaign Thursday, this one drawing big bold lines between former President Bill Clinton and the companies that helped make him rich. “It reveals a tangled web of charity and personal financial enrichment in what the aide calls ‘Bill Clinton Incorporated,’” announced Anchor Scott Pelley at the top of CBS Evening News. CBS was the only network in the “Big Three” to treat the issue with any form of seriousness, while ABC and NBC chose to glorify First Lady Michelle Obama instead.
Bill Clinton vs. Donald Trump: Cokie's Double Standard on Sexual Assault Accusations Thursday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, anchor George Stephanopoulos and commentator Cokie Roberts repeatedly cast doubt on the idea that Donald Trump’s sexual assault accusations could be false. After being grilled by Stephanopoulos, Trump dismissed the accusations as made up stories but that wasn’t adequate for ABC’s Cokie Roberts who reacted skeptically.

US Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform published a report detailing findings from its two-year investigation into the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Army Corps of Engineers (the Corps) and the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule making process: “Today’s House Oversight report pulls back the curtain on the unparalleled level of lawlessness and corruption that has defined the EPA under President Obama. The administration’s immoral obsession to achieve a limitless federal water grab outweighed the need to consider the law, science or the concerns of the American people. This unparalleled overreach is highlighted by EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy personally and intentionally violating the law by striking the need to offer alternative regulatory options and unilaterally re-writing the final rule. The EPA has solidified itself as a rogue wing of Obama’s far-left army of environmental extremists and I will continue to call for immediate impeachment hearings for Administrator McCarthy.” Background: (Courtesy of the House Oversight Committee)
The Clean Water Act (CWA) passed in 1972 gave the federal government limited jurisdiction over certain navigable waters. On May 27, 2015, the administration announced an agency rule to clarify CWA, which significantly increased the federal government’s jurisdiction. During the 114th Congress, the Oversight Committee held multiple hearings in 2015 (February 26, March 3) and 2016 (January 7, March 15, April 19, June 21) related to the WOTUS rule. LD18 Sen candidate Frank Schmuck: I am a statesman who will fight for you – The future of Arizona depends on people. People are the most important part of our community and state. Business thrives because of people. Education makes us all better prepared because of people. I embrace our founding fathers’ principles of “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Liberty is another word for freedom and with the freedom to earn comes the freedom to learn. Education and our economy are a symbiotic relationship. We cannot have one without the other and expect our state to thrive. Teachers/professors honestly want to educate students and see them find good work. No business would pay to train someone only to have him/her work for the competitor. Yet Arizona, ranked 45th for least unemployment, is investing in higher education and many instate graduates then go to other states to work because they cannot find good paying jobs here. After subsidizing a four-year degree, only 56 percent of our graduates stay here to work. We can fix that. By transitioning gradually from our state income tax to a consumption fee, we will get revenues from our 44 million visitors, taxes from our 2½ million resident filers will decrease, and total revenues will go up. Exempting basic food, clothing and gasoline we protect those on fixed incomes. Transitioning School Tuition Organization tax credits to our property tax system we preserve school choice. Arizona is ranked 48th in K-12 education spending per student. New York is ranked number one, with a much higher standard of living then Arizona and approaching three times more expensive when comparing economic factors like per diem rates or federal Cost of Living Allowances (COLA). LD22 incumbent Senator Judy Burges: Dark Money vs. Dark Money - It is unfortunate that this election cycle has been muddied with dark money allegations coming from Democrat candidates running for office at all levels. It appears that there is a rather large disconnect between Political Action Committee contributions and Independent Expenditures made without the candidate’s knowledge or input. Political Action Committee monies are generated through employee donations and must be disclosed on a candidate’s financial disclosure submitted to the Secretary of State’s Office for all to see. No hidden agenda, no hidden money – it’s right there for any and every one to see. Most PAC checks are given to candidates who display a propensity to support building the economy and job market. That would include both Democrat and Republican candidates alike. Yes, even Democrat candidates receive PAC checks from Pinnacle West, the Arizona Realtors Association, and numerous other PACs. I recently asked a Democrat candidate running for the Corporation Commission, “Wasn’t the $730,000 the solar industry spent on Lucy Mason and Vernon Parker’s Corporation Commission race in 2014 Dark Money?” Where was the outcry by the press that solar was spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in the 2014 Corporation Commission race? The silence was deafening. It is unfortunate that there was an agreement between solar and Pinnacle West to stay out of the Corporation Commission race this cycle. Solar reneged on the agreement and now we have another race with millions of dollars being spent that should be used to better the citizens of our great state.
The moral of the story - study the issue for yourself. It is really too bad that elections these days are about money instead of issues.
