Arizona Project Chairman Ron Ludders: Funny thing, President Donald Trump is actually fulfilling the promises he made during the campaign.  We haven't seen that in my lifetime and I'm old.  How refreshing! Once again, President Trump promised a pro-life, non-activist, jurist for the Supreme Court and boy did he deliver.  Americans do care about the intent of our Founding Fathers and we are excited with Trump's selection of Judge Neil Gorsuch as his choice to fill the Scalia vacancy. In recent days, the Democrats and the clueless media have been pushing the idea that the Scalia seat belongs to them and was stolen from them.  That idea is not only partisan bias, but illustrates how far the left has strayed from their understanding of our Constitution.  Truth is, the seat belongs to We the People. The intellectual gap between the right and left becomes more extreme daily and suggests that America has entered its second Civil War.  Extremist activists run amuck, liberal politicians can't deal with reality, crazy pro-abortion women wear head gear named after their genitalia and "free speech has been degraded into vulgarity.  America, once civilized, is now engaged a conflict with persons whose immediate gratification is superior to the higher intellectual ideals of the heart and mind.

Phoenix A Sanctuary City? Wait - A Study Found That Illegal Immigrants Commit Crimes DisproportionatelyThis is approximately what my car looked like that was stolen by illegal immigrant gang members. I rode two buses and a shuttle from the U-District to my job at Microsoft for months, in order to save up money and buy this car, my first car at age 22. After it was stolen, I went back to riding buses for many more months until I could save up enough money again to buy a second car.  With Trump…”

McCain-Urges-Trump-To-Give-Ukraine-Lethal-Defensive-Aid …“In the first of what will be many tests for your new administration, Russia and its proxy forces launched attacks against Ukrainian forces this week, killing at least seven Ukrainian soldiers and wounding dozens more," Arizona senator John McCain wrote in a Wednesday letter. "Vladimir Putin's violent campaign to destabilize and dismember the sovereign nation of Ukraine will not stop unless and until he meets a strong and determined response. I urge you to exercise the authority given to you by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 to provide defensive lethal assistance to Ukraine to defend its territory against further violations by Russia and its separatist proxies." McCain also urged the president to maintain existing sanctions on Russia, including those levied after the annexation of Crimea in 2014. He advised ramping up sanctions based on the country's interference in elections…”

The-Anonymous-Pro-Trump-Decius-Now-Works-Inside-The-White-House “The reporters peppering Spicer with questions were unlikely to know it, but the wallflower watching over the proceedings happened to be the leading conservative intellectual to argue for the election of Donald Trump. His pseudonymous essays during the campaign sparked more discussion—and disputation—among thinkers on the right than just about anyone else's…”

Congressmen Paul Gosar, chairman Energy and Minerals Subcommittee, House Natural Resources, Jared Polis (D-CO), Trent Franks (R-AZ) and Mike Thompson (D-CA), introduced bipartisan legislation, the Public Land Renewable Energy Development Act of 2017, which aims to streamline the permitting process for wind, solar and geothermal development on public lands and establishes a revenue sharing mechanism that ensures a fair return for relevant parties: “This bipartisan bill removes government red tape and unnecessary bureaucracy while developing a streamlined process that will drive investment toward high quality renewable resources,” stated Gosar. “The revenue sharing mechanism in this bill will help local governments deliver critical services on important projects such as road maintenance, public safety and law enforcement.”

Congressman Andy Biggs has joined the Congressional Western Caucus. The stated mission of the Western Caucus is to enhance, sustain and preserve the West’s dynamic and unique culture, and to find innovative solutions that address the distinctive concerns facing western and rural communities. The Western Caucus includes over 50 House members, including three from Arizona. Congressman Paul Gosar serves as the chair of the Caucus. Biggs said “I am excited to join the Congressional Western Caucus and lend my voice to the vital issues it promotes. This Caucus provides a much-needed voice to our western states and ensures that their issues become Congressional priorities. As a member, I will focus on removing federal regulations that, for too long, have overburdened Arizonans and their businesses at the price of economic growth and job creation.I look forward to working alongside Chairman Gosar and the rest of my colleagues to advance the Caucus’ agenda in the 115th Congress. For many years, Chairman Gosar has fought courageously against an out-of-control federal government’s assault against the West and its resources. I know he is looking forward to working with an administration that respects states’ rights and their unique resources to create economic growth and jobs. I am honored to be a part of this Caucus.”
