Attorney General Mark Brnovich has issued a scam alert reminding college basketball fans to watch out for fake ticket scams ahead of the NCAA Final Four Games. High profile sporting events are prime targets for scammers. "Chances are you've already busted your bracket, don't let cheats and scammers steal your hard-earned money too," said Brnovich. "It happens at every major sporting event, a fan is left empty-handed after showing up to a game with a bogus ticket. In addition to counterfeit tickets, scammers can potentially sell home-printed tickets to multiple consumers or sell original tickets that have been voided because they have already been re-sold via online ticket re-selling websites. Tips to avoid ticket scams:
· Buy tickets from a trusted vendor - such as NCAA.com, PrimeSport at NCAA.com/VIP, or NCAA Ticket Exchange.
· Do not pay for tickets with cash, wire transfer, or pre-paid money transfer. If the tickets turn out to be fake, it is highly unlikely you will get your money back. If you pay by credit card and the tickets turn out to be fake, you can dispute the charge.
· Be wary of purchasing tickets from someone you don't know on craigslist, eBay, or other similar person-to-person marketplace or auction sites. These types of transactions are not protected by the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act.
· Be wary of advertisements with ridiculously low prices. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
Anyone who believes they are the victim of a scam should file a consumer complaint with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in Phoenix at (602) 542-5763, in Tucson at (520) 628-6504, or outside the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas at 1(800) 352-8431. Consumers can also file complaints online by visiting the Arizona Attorney General’s website.

Activist Stephen Sivigliano: Let not our hearts be troubled by the GOP failure last Friday. It should have failed. It was an establishment red herring. Click james-t-harris-show with Paul Gosar listen to the Harris-Gosar conversation which explains why the failure happened, and what they should do to honor their promise to repeal and replace. We should also replace Ryan. He's not doing us any favors. It's a very, very interesting interview. I trust Paul Gosar to do the right thing. He should be Speaker. Un-daunted Stephen
Activist Milvia Stokes: Is there an anti-American ‘showdow government’ being run from the Obama’s mansion in DC with the help of added resident Valerie Garrett, just in time to rescue the former President from his dirty, vindictive deeds toward President Trump and team? Is socialism and the “Browning of America” on the menu, too? Some Republican senators need to their narcissism and personal vendetta aside and work united toward the Republican plan to make a better American for all.
PC Art Olivas to Vanessa Hauc (NBCUniversal, TLMD): Interview request – No, thank you. As I have been interview By Telemundo and Univision many times and they have yet to report what I say! I am not against immigrants. But, I can't stand illegal Aliens that come here just to have anchor babies, beg for every thing from food stamps to housing and medical. If you want to be a journalist, you going to have to start telling it like it is - all we get from you is fake news!
Dale Gohr of Clarkdale: The confusion surrounding the Obamacare and Judge Neil Gorsuch hearings, reminds me of an old song “Skip a Rope”; “Listen to the children while they play; ain’t it kinda funny what the children say”. In the case of the Democratic Leadership Senator Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and those who follow blindly; what these children say is easily predictable - because it goes “I’m against; anything that is or has been favorable toward President Trump”. If you oppose Gorsuch you are apparently ‘In Lock Step’ with Schumer. Your vote in the conformation of Gorsuch is simply to validate or not. Gorsuch has the qualifications to be a Supreme Court Justice. This vote should have nothing to do with opinions or speculations as to how he may vote on a particular case that may come before him. Can you face your constituents and honestly tell them “Neil Gorsuch is not qualified”? There comes a point in partisan politics, when if everyone on one side distorts facts in order to placate the leader; the leader appears to be a puppet-master with group-control of a litany of bobble-head dolls that do his bidding. This autocratic, domineering activity is not exclusive to Democrats; it has examples within Republicans and Independents as well. Bobble-heads aka useful idiots because they serve a purpose in selling their constituents a phony bill of goods. You have control of whether you are in or stay in the Useful Idiot Category. I guess what it boils down to is: If you are a Democrat US Senator when you look in the mirror; do you see a proud reflection of yourself, or do you see an image, reproduction or caricature of a Court Jester or Chuck Schumer?
LD1 Committeeman Susie Culwell: Thank you for your work on this news letter.
Arizona Town Crier Jim Ehl: Replies received after the ‘AZ GOP bylaws review and update’ was sent were favorable. The problem we face is multifaceted. We have gone mostly from ‘WE THE PEOPLE” type of government to self-appointed rulers. WE THE PEOPLE voted for a non-politically correct person in Donald Trump instead of one of the ‘politically correct’ politicians. The key to all this is the political party.
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: “A political party (from Latin: pars, Genitive partis, "part", "portion") is a political organization that typically seeks to influence, or entirely control, government policy, usually by nominating candidates with aligned political views and trying to seat them in political office. Parties participate in electoral campaigns and educational outreach or protest actions. Parties often espouse an ideology or vision, expressed in a party program, bolstered by a written platform with specific goals, forming a coalition among disparate interests”
Aligned Political Views. Information. The AZ GOP has hardly ever been any good at educating its members on issues or candidates. When has anyone ever seen the AZ GOP hold any legislator accountable for the non-republican value vote, or political adherence?? Look at the Republicans who voted for Obamacare; what did the AZ GOP leadership say? WE THE PEOPLE voted to censure McCain, and the AZ GOP leadership got him reelected. We elected the state party treasurer to be the new chairman - who didn’t even know the status of the party finances. One reply stated, “We have lost the largest county - Maricopa to the establishment (McCain) people through the use of proxies. That’s why Arizona must have a AZ GOP Executive Committee comprised of the County Chairmen, with their own chair, to hold our legislators and the state chair accountable for Republican values. Contact your county chair and get it done. If any county chair is too laid back to do anything, get a new county chair. If enough state committeeman and county chairs can agree that something has got to be done, a special meeting can also be called in accordance with the bylaws. But, if apathy prevails, ‘what you see is what you get, honey.”

Congresswoman Martha McSally addressed 18,000 pro-Israel activists from across the country at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)’s annual policy conference on March 28. AIPAC works with Congress and the Executive Branch to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the two nations. McSally’s remarks focused on the national security necessity of a strong U.S—Israel relationship, and how her home of Tucson, Arizona plays a key role in the alliance. David’s Sling, a missile defense system that is a major technology upgrade for the small country was co-developed by Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and American defense contractor, Raytheon, which is located Tucson, Arizona. “As a retired Air Force Colonel A-10 warthog pilot who deployed six times to the Middle East and Afghanistan, I have dedicated my life to protecting our country and our allies. I am a supporter of a close U.S.–Israel alliance, and I couldn’t be more proud that my district and state play a crucial role in ensuring that Israel comes to the fight better equipped than ever before,” McSally said to the crowd of 18,000. “David’s Sling is a comprehensive, multi-tiered missile defense system that ensures that both civilians and critical infrastructure are protected from the full spectrum of attacks. A crucial component of the David’s Sling system, the stunner interceptor, was developed by Raytheon in my district in Tucson, Arizona. Israeli purchases contribute to a major portion of the $2.1 billion dollars of economic benefit Raytheon brings to Arizona each year, helping Arizona develop new technologies that boost our economy and keep all our citizens safe.” McSally’s full remarks HERE McSally has been a strong supporter of Israel since day one of her service in Congress. Her actions in support of Israel include, but are not limited to, introducing a resolution expressing solidarity with the Israeli people, authoring legislation to prevent the discrimination of Israeli-produced goods, and advocating for increased missile defense spending for Israel throughout the national defense authorization process.
Congresswoman Martha McSally chaired the Women in the 21st Century Workforce Working Group on March 28 focusing on how the private sector is currently supporting women and helping them overcome barriers to success. Members questioned CEOs and business leaders on what effective practices they’ve implemented to support their female employees, whether by increasing workplace flexibility, providing caregiving options, or addressing residual bias. The panelists included Debbie Maples – VP of Global Loss Prevention & Corporate Security, Gap Inc., Kymberlee Dwinell – Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Brian Barkdull – CEO, American Southwest Credit Union and Dr. Donna Ginther – Professor of Economics at the University of Kansas. live-streamed here - HVC-210. Background: McSally launched the Working Group on Women in July, 2016. As a 26-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the first woman in our nation’s history to pilot a fighter plane in combat and command a fighter squadron, McSally has fought to break down barriers and combat discrimination her entire career. See writes here about the obstacles women face in their career. The working group of Republican lawmakers is taking an in-depth look at the root causes of the challenges women face and identifying solutions to expand opportunity for women in the workforce, increase workplace flexibility, remove barriers facing working women and empower the next generation. The group has held two hearings so far examining the barriers women face in the workforce. A video announcing the creation of the working group can be found here.
Senator John McCain: “President Trump’s executive order on energy independence is an important step forward in rolling-back the Obama Administration’s unconstitutional executive overreach on Arizona small businesses and consumers. These onerous regulations would have done far more harm to our state’s economy than good for the environment. For example, regulations on power plants alone would have created millions in compliance costs for Arizona utilities, which would have been forced to pass on costs to Arizona consumers in the form of high monthly energy bills. This would have been especially harmful for low-income families who are least able to afford electricity double-digit rate hikes. This executive order will promote efforts already taken by our state to deploy renewable technologies, including a diverse energy portfolio of solar, wind, nuclear, and natural gas. I applaud the President for signing this executive order that will unburden businesses and consumers in Arizona and across the country.” McCain is an original cosponsor of the Senate-passed resolution of disapproval that would have stopped the Obama Administration from moving forward with the Clean Power Plan regulations.
Senator John McCain Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee: “I am proud of today’s overwhelming Senate vote to allow Montenegro to join in the defense of the free world. In the face of violent pressure from Vladimir Putin’s Russia, this small, brave county has persisted in its pursuit of Euro-Atlantic integration. Today’s vote sends a strong message that Russia’s malign influence in the region will not be tolerated, and that Vladimir Putin will not have veto power over the democratic aspirations of free peoples. More broadly, the vote serves as a powerful demonstration of Congress’s unwavering bipartisan commitment to the NATO alliance and to the defense of a Europe whole, free, and at peace. With only one country remaining, I hope that the Spanish government will move quickly to ratify Montenegro’s accession to NATO so that we can embrace Montenegro as a full member of the NATO alliance.”
