The Republican National Committee (RNC) will hold a press call with former Senator Kelly Ayotte and former Judge Gorsuch law clerks at 10:30 am. (ET) Fri., March 31 to discuss Judge Gorsuch and the ongoing confirmation process.
The Arizona Project will meet at 6:30 pm., Mon., April 3 at 3375 E Shea Blvd #2 in Phoenix to discuss Evelyn Farkas and why she spilled the beans on Obama’s secret Trump surveillance operation. In an appearance on MSNBC earlier this month, Farkas told Mika Brezinski about her role in the Obama administration's final days in the efforts to collect intelligence on Trump’s team, and their alleged ties with Russia. If Farkas resigned in 2015, how did she have access to Trump-Russian intelligence reports?” questions AP Chairman Ron Ludders. Shortly after her resignation, Farkas served as an adviser to the Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign on foreign policy. Contact Ludders at 602-677-11496.
LD26 PC Barbara Medal: Here we go again, Boe James has turned the news posted on the Briefs into a ‘real’ food fight and to many of us that attended the ‘wonderful’ LD 23 Christmas party as a guest disagree with his hearsay, he should put his money where his big mouth is. He wasn’t there, I was. I had a great and filling meal covering all of the food pyramid including deserts and adult beverages and there were second and third helpings I have paid twice the cost of the evening for scanty portions at many fancy restaurants. When are we going to see some cordiality and getting together to do what districts do and stop the childish public pouting? Enough already, let’s get on with the business at hand i.e. supporting candidates, winning elections, recruiting pcs, and registering voters. The Briefs are not your platform to sling your arrows. Really…this is not only getting old to the rest of us that are active in politics but annoying to see small minded people publicly whine over contrived and untrue accusations. Editor’s Note: Here is the menu taken directly from the Dec 9, 2016 LD23 Christmas party hostess Shiree Verdone’s invitation – Bruschette, Penne Primavera, Meatballs, Penne Vodka,Chicken Marssala, Dessert, Soda, Wine, & Coffee. Verdone says all the staff in her building took food home and she invited the valet and others to come in and eat. She provided snacks as well. - ft
LD23 PC Liz James: Enough is enough already! Boe James (not related to me) please stop airing your personal dirty linen in public. If you have something to say to Nancy email her in person and find something positive about LD23 for a change instead of shooting yourself in the foot while taking aim at someone else. We are in a battle for survival, not snacks !!!
LD23PC Judy Rutkowski: I'm not sure what Boe James's motivation is behind his persistent criticism of the LD23 2016 Christmas Party, but I can't let his mischaracterization stand without correction. As Boe himself, wrote, "I was not there, so I don't know for sure..." yet he insists that "some people did leave without getting any food." Well, I was there, for the entire party, including the set-up before and the clean-up after. So, I can say with certainty that there was food. It was delicious food, and there was plenty of it. If people left without food, it was by their choice, not because of lack of food. On another point, the original flyer (sent to PCs on November 16) stated "appetizers," but a follow-up flyer sent out one day later (once the menu was confirmed) no longer stated "appetizers." It didn't claim to include "dinner," but listed the variety of items which were included in my previous post in Briefs. Is an appetizer the same as a hors d'oeuvre and the same as a snack? You can debate that if you like, but I stand by my "version" of the party - there was a variety of tasty food and there was plenty of it for those who attended and leftovers to spare. As Edith Ann once said, "And that's the truth!"
Former Maricopa County Chairman Lyle Tuttle to LD23 PC Boe James. Give it a rest, Boe! You can run for Chairman in less than 2 more years!
La Paz County Chairman Russell Sias and Bylaws Committeeman: Republicans – Democrats – or Patriots? In case no one noticed, last November we had an election. Republicans and Democrats, they have different ideas and concepts, so things got pretty contentious for a time. The election was finally decided, and now, we have a new president. It is now time for the contention to end. We must all, that’s each and every one of us, to work together to accomplish the goals and programs of the new administration. Hopefully, the campaign promises, the goals, the path forward, explained to us during the campaign, and the frankness, openness, and honesty that convinced us to go with a new administration will be honored by this new administration. It is up to us, now, to set aside the contention generated by the different ideals and goals of Republicans and Democrats. The new path has been chosen, and it is up to each one of us, while being honest to our own principles, to accept and support the new administration. In order to move this country forward, we must put our shoulder to the wheel, and do whatever we can to support the new administration and their programs. Our country decided to in a new direction. We need to support that new direction as much as our principles will allow. If we can do this, we not only are Republicans or Democrats, we also become Patriots. Being a Patriot should be the goal of every citizen in this country.
PC Jane Schutte: I just want to say you provide an invaluable source of information on the pros/cons of our Republican party. You are unbiased. If you want to make a personal comment on a topic you sign it with your initials.
Former LD13 Chairman Robert Branch: Dear Congressman and Senators, I voted for President Trump, I support President Trump and I Stand with President Trump. If you do not stand with me on supporting President Trump, I will work to vote you out. You are not the opposition party any more, get with the program or get voted out.
Bob Richards: Dear State Legislators: Please vote for SB 1367 to save the lives of babies born following attempts to absorb them in the womb. Thank you.
LD20 State Committeeman Marianne Ferrari: Global Govt. In Action 3-30-17-Briefs “The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is seeking public input for its Active Transportation Plan (ATP)...”) Warning: It's coming to your neighborhood, and already in Mine: N 31ST Ave between Sandra Terrace/Grandview is residential, but it’s the way home for many in the neighborhood. Awhile back, they painted lines that conflict and confuse drivers: parking lane, bike lane. The space left for driving is less than one car width! It is confusing to drive down that street. You feel like you’re breaking the law. This is how globalism works. Increasing limits, over time. Precedence only for what THEY want: foot traffic and bicycles, not cars. Under global govt, we’ll all be on foot or in trams! Take one look at that block of N 31st Ave and you’ll know something is very wrong. This Maricopa County item uses the precise tactic Agenda 21 has always used: 1st a buzzword—Active Transportation--that sounds great, but isn’t. 2nd public meetings they hope you will NOT attend. Purpose: Creates impression of consensus. 3rd. Funding, i.e., more public money for globalist causes. Note: underlined words give away their intent. Quoted from item: “A series of public meetings will be held in late April and early May. Dates and locations will be posted to the Active Transportation Page on the MCDOT website. The Active Transportation Plan will prioritize the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, and individuals with disabilities who access and use county roadways and connect to adjacent facilities. In addition, the plan will address potential partnerships, explore funding options and recommend potential policies to enhance active transportation in Maricopa County.”

The World-Class Ben Avery Shooting Facility will host the Wed., April 19 “Shot Heard ‘Round the World Day” where recreational shooters can join together to symbolize the first shot fired in 1775 to mark the beginning of the American Revolution, while enjoying a fun shooting event. It will be 242 years to the day when the shot was fired in the pre-dawn light in Lexington, Mass., between the colonial militia and British army, starting the American Revolutionary War. The inaugural event, being promoted at public shooting ranges across the nation, also will provide an opportunity to increase participation and boost the economic benefits that shooting sports provide. As recreational shooters check in and visit BASF’s small bore range from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., they will be connected to recreational shooting mentor groups and shooting industry manufacturers and retailers inside the nearby indoor air gun and archery building. Whether or not a recreational shooter actively participates in hunting or angling, he or she contributes to the main source of funding for state wildlife conservation efforts through an excise tax placed on the purchase of shooting sports equipment and ammunition, as legislated by the Pittman-Robertson Act. Those funds also are spent on shooting sports projects, including the building of shooting ranges. See www.shotheardroundtheworldday.com or visit https://www.azgfd.com/Shooting/BASF/.

The National Governors Association (NGA) has announced governors’ support for the legislation introduced by and Rep. Ralph Abraham (R-LA) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and to modernize the National Guard Military Technician program and preserve the Guard’s readiness for state and federal military missions, including responses to civil emergencies. National Guard dual-status military technicians are full-time, federally funded uniformed employees of the state military department who are required to maintain membership in their state’s National Guard. Military technicians are critical to the operations of the National Guard and serve as their governor’s immediate response force in times of emergency such as tornadoes, floods, wildfires and civil disturbances. Sen. Manchin’s and Rep. Abraham’s legislation modernizes the Technician Act of 1968 by addressing several concerns, including bonus eligibility for military technicians, access to Tricare reserve select and the establishment of a binding appeals process that is quick and efficient. Governors strongly support the legislation because it preserves the Guard’s ability to respond to state emergencies. The legislation will reduce the requirement that the Department of Defense must convert 20 percent of all military technicians from members of the Guard to full-time federal civilian employee status by October 1, 2017. The bill instead supports the military judgment of state Adjutants General and the findings of the Department of Defense that no more than 4.8 percent of current dual-status military technicians in the Guard and Reserves can be converted to full-time federal civilian employees without degrading military readiness. The Freedom Coalition announces the April 1 "National Timeout Day" to free political prisoners in the US. The freedom coalition is a nationwide group of professionals and average Americans who have united to call for the release of many people who are currently in prison or who have been victimized by federal bureaucracies for violating unlawful regulations and rules that have not been passed by congress. The original open letter to President Trump, Congress, the Attorney General, and other authorities, along with the list of Coalition members, which include congressmen, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and others, may be found on the Coalition website. NTD is a day when all politicians, the media, and all Americans stop talking about Russia, Health Care, Wiretapping, Tax Returns, Immigration, or which leader is lying, and focus on one issue; returning jailed innocent Americans to their families!" An example is: Sam Girod, an Amish farmer in Kentucky, who has been fending off the FDA for five years. He was recently arrested and now sits in a federal prison. What was his crime? Girod actually made a healing salve out of Chickweed and shared it with people in need. He was stripped from his family and now faces life in prison. Donations to defray costs of lobbying Congress may be made on the website also. See CSPOA | 480-840-9091 | INFO@CSPOA.ORG | WWW.CSPOA.ORG
