Trey Gowdy On Attack — He’s Putting an End To Obama’s Corruption! Trey Gowdy is one of the good guys, dedicated to destroying the corruption in Washington. He is doing everything in his power to shut down the Obama regime’s policies. Under Gowdy, the House Judiciary Committee passed a bill to stop an Obama “slush fund” policy, reports Freedom’s Final Stand. The bill, called H.R. 732, was co-sponsored by Gowdy, who worked overtime to get it passed. With that, Gowdy made an important contribution to the draining of the swamp. He made sure that Obama would be quickly forgotten and his legacy would be destroyed. The House Judiciary Committee’s decision is “nothing less than Congress taking back its constitutional powers lost over the last eight years”, said Gowdy. Read more...

The First Public Hearing On Russia's Meddling In US Elections Will Be March 20, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes says. Nunes said he has invited FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers, as well as former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Attorney General Sally Yates, to testify.
LD18 PC Peggy McClain: Regarding the permit required by Maricopa County to weed, this is just another in a series of large government bureaucratic actions to steal money from taxpayers who are minding their own business. Maricopa County Supervisors run for office every four years and the Republicans lead us to believe they are one of us, desiring freedom and small government. In reality, they are part of the large government problem. Do they tell you they require contractors to pay the County to take a dust control class? Do they tell you they require the contractor's Personal cell phone to be posted at jobsites so they can receive calls 24/7? Do they tell you the amount of water used and the cost of water trucks contractors have to purchase to keep Arizona dust down? Do they tell you they call crews late in the day back to jobsites to clean up dust that may be in the street or on the sidewalk? How much water is used to keep a natural element of the desert at bay? How much pollution from vehicles occurs to return to jobsites for dust? How much gasoline is wasted to return to jobsites? And what is the cost to businesses? IF the Supervisors respond to these concerns, they will tell you it's because of the EPA and potential dollars sent to Arizona from the Feds for roads. Very well, then tell everyone this and that they don't have the balls to fight the government or enlist citizens to help them. Instead, they fine homeowners and contractors through another layer of County government. Cities and HOAs fine homeowners for out-of-control weeds. But be careful, if you weed Maricopa County may fine you.
Sen John McCain Testified at a House Veterans Affairs Committee hearing titled, “Shaping the Future: Consolidating and Improving VA Community Care” last night. All 100 US Senators Have Signed A Letter Urging The Trump Administration To Step Up Security At Jewish Community Centers, Day Schools And Synagogues following a new wave of threats. Bomb threats via phone and email were reported in Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin. They are among more than 100 threats made across the United States and Canada since early January, according to the Anti-Defamation League. In the letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director James Comey, the senators wrote: "We are concerned that the number of incidents is accelerating and failure to address and deter these threats will place innocent people at risk and threaten the financial viability of JCCs, many of which are institutions in their communities."
Gov Doug Ducey: In my State of the State address this year, I highlighted an ongoing challenge Arizonans face as we seek our fair day in court: the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The overburdened Ninth Circuit hears an average of 12,000 cases per year -- 30% more than the next most active circuit. And their average turnaround time to hear a case is over a full year. It's time for a new circuit court for Arizona and other western states. Senator Jeff Flake has introduced a bill in Congress to act on this priority, and together we authored an op-ed in The Arizona Republic detailing our case. A few of our key concerns:
· Average turnaround time for a case: 15 months
· Average caseload: 12,000 cases
· Percentage of rulings overturned: 77%
· Only 1/3 of court meets to set precedent
Read our op-ed for our full proposed solution on creating the 12th "Mountain Circuit" court to ensure that justice is administered fairly for Arizonans, and post the link to your Facebook page: our-turn-why-arizona-need-move-out-9th-circuit Together, let's advocate for a fair day in court for Arizonans. Congressman Andy Biggs: Today, the House of Representatives passed the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Transition Authorization Act by voice vote. Among other provisions, this bill requires NASA to develop a plan for an eventual manned mission to Mars in the coming decades. Biggs, a member of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee: “Few achievements have inspired more pride than our nation’s space program. The NASA Transition Authorization Act will allow our country to continue to dream big as we explore farther and farther into the solar system and beyond. I am thankful for Chairman Lamar Smith’s work on this vital legislation and am proud to see it pass the House tonight.”
Sen John McCain following testimony at the House Veterans Affairs Committee hearing titled, “Shaping the Future: Consolidating and Improving VA Community Care” on the need to preserve the Veterans Choice Program: “I want to talk to you about veterans’ access to care and how we got here. Just yesterday, the Arizona Republic reported that Steve Cooper, an Army veteran of 18 years, was awarded 2.5 million dollars in a medical lawsuit against the Phoenix VA hospital. Steve waited for almost two years before seeing a doctor at the Phoenix VA. By the time he received care, his routine urology appointment had turned into a diagnosis of terminal cancer. Steve wasn’t alone in his need for care. In 2014, our country was shocked to learn that Steve was one of 15,000 veterans standing in line for care in Phoenix – 3,300 of whom were urology patients. This national disgrace served as the catalyst for the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act that created the Veterans Choice Program, which has enabled veterans to see providers in the community for their health care needs. This legislation required the VA to implement the Veterans Choice Program in under 90 days – an ambitious undertaking that experienced some growing pains. Despite a few road-bumps, the Veterans Choice Program to-date has accomplished its intended goal of increasing access to care for our nation’s veterans. In fact, since its inception, veterans have made more than seven million appointments with community providers for everything from diagnostic tests and urology screenings, to life saving heart and cancer treatment. Mccain Joins Senators To Continue The Veterans Choice Program

US Senate Candidate Kelli Ward: We will not be fooled. The proposed health care bill by the House Republicans is just Obamacare 2.0 — that's unacceptable.
We refuse to settle for more harmful legislation. Add your name if you support a full repeal of Obamacare! For years, the American people have demanded a full repeal of one of the most disastrous pieces of legislation in our nation's history — but now, the House leadership expects us to accept a bill that keeps the worst parts of Obamacare: healthcare welfare, subsidies, and mandatory coverage. The era of excuses is over. Americans have waited long enough. Now, with the support of President Donald Trump and a Republican-controlled Senate, the House must follow through on the promises they have made over the past six years. It's time to fully repeal Obamacare, once and for all. It's time to be bold. Congress must not waver and settle for an Obamacare 2.0 — America deserves better.
