5-7-17 Briefs

Congressman Trent Franks: “There is a lot of intentional misinformation and attempts at deception about the #AHCA that was passed on Thursday in the U.S. House. I encourage you to take a few moments to read this article and share with your family and friends. The GOP House kept its promise to the American People.” See Betsy-McCaughey: The-Democrats-Pre-Existing-Condition-Scam

Former AZ PC Wayne Blair: See what you helped to happen along with your friend G. Soros - arizona-sheriff-releasing-400-criminal-illegal-immigrants-every-10-days. Hope you are happy Brian.

Former Wickenburg City Councilman Scott Stewart: Hey all my Wickenburg friends. The anti-horse residents in town are at it again. Yep, your anti-horse appointed town planning commission discussed last night restricting, once again your rights to the use and enjoyment of your property. Yep, it seems some people move to a rural area and then are offended by such things as horses, cattle, flys, dust and all other things western. Problem is most of your planning and zoning commissioners agree with them as do the majority of your elected council members. Yep, they are talking about stealing 75% of you land. How you ask? By instituting a 40-foot setback on your horse property. Yep, you can't put up a fence within 40 feet of your lot line so on a 1-acre-square (43,560 sq feet) that amounts to 75% of your property (33,000 sq feet) that your planning commission thinks that even though you paid for it and pay taxes on it you should not be allowed to use it because the person next door that moved here from fully paved California is offended by you practicing roping or other horse related activities. You should call 684-5451 next week and ask to speak to Chairman Bill Cowles or email town planner Steve Boyle and ask him to forward you comments to Chairman Cowles.

Warren Woodward of Sedona: I spent the week of April 24 plus May 1 & 2 at the APS rate case hearings at the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) in Phoenix. See videos of some of those hearings:
APS Rate Case 4-27-17 My cross examination (starts about 1 minute in) of Scott Bordenkircher, Director of Transmission and Distribution Technology Innovation and Integration at APS. Scott is supposedly the APS "smart" grid expert and guy in charge. Notice how many times he says "I don't know." Note also the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) when a she admonishes me for engaging in argument instead of questions, despite the fact that I am asking questions. If APS's lawyers did not like the questions posed to their witness they could have objected. They didn't.
APS Rate Case 2-28-17 Continuation of my cross examination of Bordenkircher which lasts until 36:33. Then some others question Bordenkircher. At 48:39, I call forensic electrical engineer Erik Anderson, my witness who testifies to the kilohertz frequencies that APS "smart" meters emit, and to the fires "smart" meters can cause.
APS rate case 5-1-17     This last video starts with the testimony of my witness Dr. Sam Milham who discusses the health implications of the kilohertz frequencies that Erik Anderson found, and the inadequacy of the Arizona Department of Health Service's "smart" meter radiation study. Then I testify as my own witness. Then I cross examine ACC Staff's expert accounting witness who basically BS's his way through my questions that expose the claim of a 20 year "smart" meter service life.
All Interveners have until May 17 to submit written Briefs to the ALJ. Rebuttal Briefs are due June 1. The ALJ issues her Recommended Opinion & Order to the ACC commissioners who then hold an Open Meeting and vote on what they think should happen.
