Senator-John-McCain-Diagnosed-With-Brain Cancer

AZGOP Chairman Jonathan Lines conducted a tele conference Tuesday evening in which he took constituent questions. full telephone town hall HERE.

Timothy Schwartz, LD30 1st Vice Chair: Tuesday night State Chairman Jonathan Lines held his tele town hall and 8 people were able to get through with their questions. The person before me asked about Gabby Mercer being refused possession of the Secretary's records. Line's answer evaded the question as he pretended it was Gabby's fault and not his. He stated that he has emails where Gabby declined his invitation to meet, when in reality Gabby tried for month after month to fulfill her duties and was repeatedly met with stiff opposition. If Gabby is declining to meet with him now, the much bigger question is why did Jonathan Lines refuse to meet with Gabby for months before now? When my call was taken, I stated that I was present during a meeting at AZGOP and knew Gabby was being stalled as our group tried for over two hours to get the records.  Jonathan didn't answer that question. I asked about the direct interference from Kory Langhofer, Jonathan didn't answer. I asked why our P.C.s and State Committeemen were being falsely ruled 'out of order' at our meetings, Jonathan didn't answer. I asked why Al Gage was allowed to run our official meetings when allowing a Parliamentarian (or anyone else) to run the meeting as a presiding officer required a vote and approval from the body.  Jonathan didn't answer. These were specific questions, none of which received an answer. No wonder the two callers who followed me hung up, Jonathan Lines refuses to answer direct questions.

Bruce Piepho, Cochise County State Committeeman: Recently Navajo County Chairman Steven Slaton called for the AZGOP chairman Jonathan Lines and Matt Kenney’s resignations with a number of ARS references cited. Both Lines and Kenney have lied to the duly elected body of the AZGOP about these specific requirements they refused to carryout upon Lines election. We voted for a winner who never served! Jonathan Lines served as AZGOP Treasurer in name only. Now Lines is Chairman in name only with Kenney hired to run the AZGOP. The crimes of Graham are in the permanent records such as the elections. A friend running for an at-large delegate to the 2016 National Convention received at least 2 votes which were not reported in final results. So did Jim O'Connor really lose by 34 votes? Tim Horn and Gabriela Mercer, AZGOP Secretary went to the AZGOP offices. They were met by one of John McCain’s attorneys, Kory Langhofer. Access to the permanent records was denied. What the hell was a McCain lawyer doing? Lines or Kenney should have been handling the records request. Kenney should be immediately called to resign or be fired. I sent a letter w/copies of evidence to Stephen B. Shadegg, Director Outreach, attorney general office. Kenney, Arizona Grassroots Action PAC Executive Director, used PAC funds to recruit and train dozens of Precinct Committeemen (PC) who did not speak the English. Kenney was the Notary to sign their applications, and used Kevin Dang as the translator when Kenney did training. A Timothy Schwartz hired translator revealed most recruited PCs were given false information. Recall Lines; elect new chair; fire Kenney.

Activist Mary Clare Wolf: I just read that John McCain, has finally come out and declared, that he will be siding with the Democrats, how nice is that!!!  What a damn LIAR…. Mr. Soros has “scored” again, undermining our Country… I hope the AZ Republicans can do something to relieve this sorry man out of politics and please replace him with a “True “ Republican… and that would not be his daughter, however, I must say she has come a long way… Very sad day for AZ… I thought we were better than sending this turn coat to Washington DC - he is way too old, should have retired with Dignity that he “HAD” earned, but through his own doings has tarnished. I have lost all respect for the man…

Phoenix Delays Sanctuary Policy Amid Mounting Pressure After JW Report Days after Judicial Watch exposed a new policy banning Phoenix police from contacting the feds after arresting illegal aliens, alarming pressure on the city council and chief of police has forced officials in Arizona’s largest city to postpone the order. Crafted at a Hispanic advisory committee that promotes open borders, the policy also prohibits officers from asking about suspects’ immigration status. The new policy’s two principle measures violate key provisions of a state law upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court and leave the city vulnerable to costly lawsuits. In the aftermath of Judicial Watch’s story, which included a copy of the Phoenix sanctuary Immigration Procedures, police management is backing off and reconsidering the ramifications. Sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Judicial Watch that Phoenix Police Department brass is worried about getting sued under an Arizona law that states the following: “No official or agency of this state or a county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state may limit or restrict the enforcement of federal immigration laws to less than the full extent permitted by federal law.” The measure also states this: “If an alien who is unlawfully present in the United States is convicted of a violation of state or local law, on discharge from imprisonment or on the assessment of any monetary obligation that is imposed, the United States immigration and customs enforcement or the United States customs and border protection shall be immediately notified.”

Archie Dicksion, the anti-proxy petition spokesman, has announced the petition is posted at Just filled it out and submit it to Dicksion electronically. The proxy requests that Arizona State Legislature “prohibit the use of proxies at political party votes, or limit their use to no more than two (2) proxies per carrier.” Dicksion can also be reached at 949-233-0009.

AZGOP-Committeemen-Lining-Up-To-Recall-Lines Momentum for change is growing among the AZGOP ranks after a group of State Committeemen contacted AZGOP Secretary Gabby Saucedo Mercer in support of recalling Chair Jonathan Lines. At The Request Of Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and his family, Mayo Clinic released the following statement: “On Friday, July 14, Sen. John McCain underwent a procedure to remove a blood clot from above his left eye at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. Subsequent tissue pathology revealed that a primary brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was associated with the blood clot. Scanning done since the procedure (a minimally invasive craniotomy with an eyebrow incision) shows that the tissue of concern was completely resected by imaging criteria. The Senator and his family are reviewing further treatment options with his Mayo Clinic care team. Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation. The Senator’s doctors say he is recovering from his surgery ‘amazingly well’ and his underlying health is excellent.”

“Senator John McCain appreciates the outpouring of support he has received over the last few days. He is in good spirits as he continues to recover at home with his family in Arizona. He is grateful to the doctors and staff at Mayo Clinic for their outstanding care, and is confident that any future treatment will be effective. Further consultations with Senator McCain's Mayo Clinic care team will indicate when he will return to the United States Senate.”

Congressman Andy Biggs: “Cindy and I are praying for Senator McCain and his family tonight after hearing this devastating news about his health. I have been amazed by his energy and vigor for serving his country over the years, and the sacrifices he made for this nation are unmatched. I hope to see him back on Capitol Hill soon, and I know that he will fight this diagnosis with every ounce of strength he has within him.”

Congressman Andy Biggs: “After months of inaction and indecisiveness, Congress is running out of excuses for our failure to repeal Obamacare as we promised our constituents. President Trump once said we would repeal this ‘disastrous’ and ‘calamitous’ law. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell once said Congress would repeal Obamacare ‘root and branch.’ House Republicans once said we would repeal Obamacare, not merely fix it, because it was a "knot of regulations, taxes, and mandates [that] cannot be untangled. Obamacare repeal should have been easy to accomplish. In 2015, both the House and the Senate passed a bill that repealed most of Obamacare’s mandates, taxes, and regulations, but it was vetoed by President Obama. Now that we have a Republican President who would immediately sign any legislation similar to the 2015 bill, Congress apparently has lost its longstanding commitment to repeal this law. This is troubling. The 2015 Obamacare repeal bill is not perfect, but it is a far better start than the legislation considered by both the House and Senate this year. The 2015 bill will remove most of Obamacare and pave the way for Americans to receive significant premium relief. The ball is in the Senate’s court. I hope that Senator McConnell will strongly consider bringing up the 2015 bill for consideration and I trust that those who have already voted in favor of the 2015 bill, will vote for it again in 2017. I would support passage of the 2015 bill and hope to see it on President Trump's desk for his historic signature.”

Congresswoman Martha McSally: “Senator John McCain is one of the bravest men I know—a hero, a warrior, and a survivor. He survived the Vietnam War after being shot down then held as a prisoner of war for five and a half years. I am confident he will defeat this foe as well. Senator McCain has been a personal mentor for me. I have been honored to serve alongside him in the Arizona delegation in Congress, and I look forward to continuing to do so. My thoughts are with him and his family, and my prayers are for his health and full recovery.”
