Trump Unloads On McConnell - Trump took his feud with McConnell to the next level Thursday, saying he's "very disappointed in Mitch" and tiptoeing around whether he thinks the Kentucky Republican should resign. "If he doesn't get repeal and replace done, and if he doesn't get taxes done, meaning cuts and reform, and if he doesn't get a very easy one to get done, infrastructure, if he doesn't get them done, then you can ask me that question," Trump told reporters from his Bedminster golf club when asked if McConnell should step down.

Bruce M Piepho - Cochise State Committeeman: Who does the State Republican party belong to? The State committeemen? or The Precinct Committeemen? or the AZGOP elected officers? Or Senator McCain? None of the above! The state party is our neighbors, the Republican registered voters and we represent them and serve them. A problem: The Arizona State Republican Party commonly referred to as AZGOP is unduly influenced by Arizona senators and the elite establishment to the point of being under their control. AZGOP officers are not representing the State Committeemen. And the State Committeemen are not representing the Precinct Committeemen. SO who is representing our Republican registered voters? - NO ONE! There is a revolution taking place in the AZGOP. Opponents of the RECALL movement refer to the movement members as misfits who are breaking the unity of the state party. The truth is the fractured AZGOP has been broken for many years not just the last 3 months. I have been an AZ resident since November 2010. Research has uncovered corruption, unresolved contested elections, unprecedented censorship of a senator leading to purging Tea Party and conservative PCs, – the list goes on and on. When does it stop? - - - I say NOW!

LD21 PC Randy Miller to Congressman Trent Franks: Did you know AZ's Representative Trent Franks has a "Resolution" H.J. 93, proposing an amendment to the constitution to be voted on by Congress???? His resolution is to add an amendment "To protect the rights of crime victims". Now this is a noble idea but one I disagree with. Here's why. First, he represents the interest of his Arizona constituents. He is proposing an amendment to the Nation's Constitution that affects the nation. To make a massive addition to such a document you would think it would be due to a fundamental problem in our country that this is addressing and it was the only fix. So here is another idea. Let each respective state address it based on their needs to their victim’s issues. That is more in line with the 9th and 10th amendments and keeping Washington out of our lives. There are a couple problems here.

    1. The state he is representing at the House of Representatives has not to my knowledge, asked or identified this as being a problem since it IS IN OUR STATE CONSTITUTION! Yes, that's right, Article II section 2.1 is titled, now get this, "Victims Bill of Rights".

    2. If there were a problem in Arizona, then it should be addressed locally since that is where our founding fathers believed, and rightfully so, that the people are most effective with government that is closest to them. Washington is a cesspool of corruption and ideologues pounding their sanctimonious chests vying for the popularity of their pounding the loudest and we pay them too much for doing so. If there is a specific issue regarding victims’ rights for information at the federal level, then just write legislation on it and make it law, it takes fewer votes.

I wish all legislators would ask, about bills I have seen going forward; "Is this a delegated power to the government and is it really a function of government".  Then ask, is this already addressed.

Russell Sias, La Paz County Chairman Exchange with AZGOP Second Vice Chairman Cindy Coleman: Sias is responding to Coleman’s message to him in which she notes, “I would be open to answering some of your concerns privately, as you and I have had some productive interactions in the past. Of course, I have some trust issues since you've decided to target me publicly in this recall maneuver. If we could chat, I believe some of your issues and misunderstandings might be resolved”

Sias to Coleman: I am glad you find my statements and hopefully, my questions, “interesting,” as you have put it. Your offer to discuss them privately does concern me, however. They are, after all, party issues. As you already read the Briefs, most of my questions have been posted there, and are pretty straight forward. I believe that most Briefs readers would be interested to know what the Lines camp’s thinking is on the issues I have raised, especially those concerning our bylaws. The issues I raised are not really private issues, they are party issues, so please don’t be offended when I suggest that discussing them in a more public forum such as the Briefs is more appropriate. It would make much more sense that you offer your resolutions/answers to my questions in a more public forum, so that all could understand your points from your own writings in regard to the issues I have raised. In that you read the Briefs as I do, perhaps a dialog on these pages would be appropriate. It likely would put to rest future mistrust issues we still seem to have as well, for I truly have no interest in deceiving or misleading anyone. For the record, in one of our last communications, when we ended that conversation, I thought we had resolved our trust issues. Apparently, that was a misconception on my part, for I believed you when you suggested that we would put those issues behind us. It sounds as if it is not as behind us as I had hoped. If you would like me to re-address my current questions regarding our party leadership, I would be happy to do so.

Radio Talk Show Host Tom Morrissey: For those of you who tried to hear my radio show on Payson radio station KRIM 96 FM yesterday at 3 PM and were wondering why it wasn't on.  It was due to an outage the day before caused by an accidental cutting of a fiber optic cable which knocked out the cable and internet service in Payson, virtually shutting the entire town down.  This threw the radio station off schedule and caused all kinds of updates on their system, including streaming capability.  However we managed to get my show on the air at 4 PM. We will return to the regular 3 -5 PM schedule on Thursday (8/17) when we will be doing a tribute to the late Glen Campbell (1st hour) and the legendary Outlaw Country singers (2nd hour).  You can find the show on KRIM 96.3 in the Payson AZ area or (streaming) Thursdays 3 -5 pm.

Former Senate Russell Pearce: ABOR and MCCCD are completely out of control and apparently have contempt for the law, the taxpayer and the 73% of voters who passed Prop. 300 loudly saying NO to the DREAM ACT.   ABOR’s argument is built on a false premise that DACA is legal, AND IT IS NOT.  ABOR’s letter sent on 8/10/17 is an attempt to justify their illegal actions and is terrible and deceitful why they should not be sued as they continue to break the law.  They have decided illegally to continue and deliberately grant in-state tuition to so called DACA students, wow it is amazing.  They are slapping the voters of Arizona in the face and trying to justify their illegal actions.  The voters passed PROP. 300 by 73% and loudly said NO to the DREAM ACT.  ABOR apparently does not get that.  Prop. 300 passed with a majority of every single demographic.  ABOR as stated is not a part of the MCCCD court decision.  ABOR deliberately broke the law and without a liberal judge’s decision to hide behind.  They were warned by me to please do not move forward on in-state tuition as it is in direct violation of the law.  I told Mark Killian who was a member of ABOR at the time.  I asked Mark to not the break the law, before they choose to vote on it.  They ignored my advice, the law and the cost to the taxpayers.  ABOR is not a part or a party to the law suit.  Liberal Judge Arthur Anderson decision to ignore the law in the MCCCD law suit did not and does not apply to ABOR.  Why in the world would we wait until the appeal is over before we demand ABOR follow the law.  See full statement at
