9-2-17 Briefs

REPUBLICAN BRIEFS

There Is Lots Of Speculation regarding the report that Trump Team’s Senior Advisor/State Treasurer Jeff DeWit, and former AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham, will meet next week to decide who will run against incumbent Sen Jeff Flake and candidate Kelli Ward… or is it hot air and wishful thinking like the stories that Graham would become the Republican National Committee (RNC) chairman? Lots of voters are urging DeWit to take on Flake, saying he’s the only one who can beat the incumbent. Ward has been running her buns off campaigning and gathering quite a support group since the last election. Graham would probably get the RINO/McCain Establish vote. It is even rumored that former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is considering getting into the senate race. If you notice, DeWit hasn’t said a word. Those close to DeWit said he was taken by surprise by reports of an alleged meeting scheduled between him and Graham. It will be interesting to see how this plays out as we all know that if the GOP fields more than one candidate against Flake, the vote will be split – which could give Flake another win in the primary. The Dems are hungry for that senate seat and with Flake’s unpopularity in polls Arizona could lose that senate seat to a Dem in the general. Think about it folks. We need to get behind one good, strong Conservative Republican candidate to keep that senate seat. – ft

Can You Believe The Asinine Way the main stream media keeps harping on the high-heeled shoes First Lady Melania Trump wore enroute to the Hurricane Harvey flood site? Never mind that classy former model changed into flats before they deplaned in Texas. It’s too bad the MSM don’t have something important to cover like soldier deployment, employment, the “coincidence” of our warships getting rammed, international spies carrying away secrets, leaks in the White House, and do nothing congress. Seven years and the GOP doesn’t have a health program ready to go… and the media is fussing about the First Lady’s slippers??? Have you taken a look at the Vogue fashion editor who is leading the shoe bitching caper? She is no Jackie Kennedy! See meet-fugly-fashion-editor-giving-melania-hell-for high-heels -ft

Editor’s Note: Please keep opinion pieces to 400 words.

Attention PCs: Submit your ideas for AZGOP Bylaws revisions by using this form.

Activist Gary Ripley: Thanks for all you do, Frosty . It is very much appreciated by a whole lot of us,

Activist James Alberts: Trump has donated a million dollars of his own money to help the folks in Texas, what habe McCain and Flake done? Lip service does not count.

Arizona Project Chairman Ron Ludders: President Donald Trump and his administration have performed a masterful job in the terrible crisis caused by Hurricane Harvey. Our President even gave $1,000,000 of his own money to assist in the effort to ease the misery our fellow Americans are experiencing. God bless America, our President and those in need of special blessings do to the storm.

Activist Gary Ripley: The disgust with the GOP just builds. First they (have lobbyist) write an "autopsy" on why Mitt Romneycare and Jonny Amnesty McCain lost to Obama and tell us it was all because we have to have amnesty, then Trump gets an electoral landslide victory very much running on enforcing immigration law and finally securing the borders and dumping Obamacare. Now the usual suspects, the Flakes, Ryans, Tillis, etc.... tell us we have to give Illegals amnesty AGAIN for DACA recipients "the children" blah, blah, blah. Even if it were all kids it wouldn't matter, the law is the law but it’s NOT children its mostly working age adults undercutting American Citizens for jobs, which is why they really want these illegals amnestied. Reagan amnestied an estimated 3.5 million illegals. How’s that worked out for us so far? Now the GOP wants to amnesty another 2.5 million so called "dreamers", another nightmare I'm sure will work out just as well. The GOP REFUSES to listen to or do the will of the voters or fulfill their promises, they can’t repeal Obamacare, they refuse to build a wall, heck many wouldn't even condemn AntiFa terrorist but when they face the threat of deporting the democrat voting slave wagers the lobbyist paid them to provide THEY ARE ON IT! Why do we even have elections?
