Steve Bannon, former White House senior adviser and conservative firebrand, may once again shakeup the Republican Party by supporting and functioning as an outside adviser for a controversial candidate to defeat an establishment Republican congressman in a district that covers the New York City borough of Staten Island, FOX Business has learned. steve-bannon-backs-ex-con-grimm-in-ny-republican-race

Editor’s Note: Please keep opinion pieces to 400 words.

Jay Clagg: I am completely and utterly disgusted with this entire party, aside from the patriots fighting to change and keep it for the people. I believe we all have been bamboozled by this Corrupt RINO establishment and I will be coming up with my own plan to vacate the party to a new party , gunpowder and the constitution .

PC/SC Karen Gevaert: Reply to 1st Vice Chair Jennifer "Jade" Jones-Esposite from 10-4-17-briefs Where have you been? There has been copious amounts of information posted on Frosty's Briefs regarding Lines and his questionable AZGOP leadership.  Where were you when a movement to recall Lines, but was  'squash' by so-called conservative people?  Again, Where Were You??

Arizona Town Crier Jim Ehl: Finally, another ‘input’ from the state chair where the bylaws mess is concerned.  The plot thickens!!  In 10-4-17-briefs a note says, “Editor’s Note: As of yesterday afternoon, AZGOP Chairman Jonathan Lines announced that “…a form which allows anyone to provide input regarding the current bylaws and the proposed changes” can be obtained at bylaws form by clicking HERE. “  On opening the link, there was absolutely no explanations, directions, guidance or anything else!  Not even a ‘TO’ space to indicate just where the form might be going.  (The trash, maybe??)  The form allowed for one amendment, so it looks liker if one wanted to submit more than one amendment one would need to use more than one form. One might assume that since the state chair appointed a bylaws committee chairman that the form would go to the bylaws chair.  Now, would it be up to the bylaws chair to coordinate that proposed amendment along with others like it and submit it to the secretary for forwarding to the members as directed in the bylaws, or will that bylaws chair, and or the state chair, decide what proposed amendments are forwarded by the secretary in accordance with the AZGOP bylaws???   Only the shadow knows! Any ‘non laid back’ county chair want to address this??

President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump traveled to Puerto Rico yesterday to meet with officials from both Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. President Trump delivered remarks at Luis Muñis Air National Guard Base, thanking all the first responders and volunteers participating in rescue and rebuilding efforts. The President then went on a walking tour of the Guaynabo vicinity, where he met with families of the community before making his way to Calvary Chapel Puerto Rico to help distribute supplies to those affected by the devastating storm.

Hurricane Update: We continue to make progress through the unified efforts of the federal government, working hand-in-hand with Puerto Rico, its municipalities, businesses, and voluntary agencies on the island. FEMA, working in coordination with federal partners, has provided millions of meals and millions of liters of water to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additional meals and water continue to arrive to the islands regularly via air and sea. Yesterday, the Department of Defense hospital ship, USNS Comfort, arrived in Puerto Rico to provide additional surge capacity if needed. The ship offers the full range of medical care with surgical, obstetric, and pediatric capability and is equivalent to a level-two trauma center in the United States. The ship is staffed by more than 500 medical personnel and support staff and holds 250 hospital beds. Also yesterday, President Trump amended the disaster declarations for both the U.S. Virgin Islands and Florida to make additional disaster assistance available.
