PIA reports nine women have publicly accused Shooter of sexual harassment. “Don Shooter should spare taxpayers additional costs to investigate and resign. If he doesn’t leave, the Public Integrity Alliance will make sure every voter in LD13 knows what he is accused of. Who we elect has norm-setting power for our society, and we are sure people will reject Shooter’s boorish behavior,” said PIA chairman Tyler Montague, according to YS. Shooter, who is currently suspended as the House Appropriations Chair, has been temporarily replaced with acting chairman Rep David Livingston

Trump Administration To End Immigration Protections For Haitians, Giving Them 18 Months To Leave The Trump administration has given 50,000 Haitians with provisional residency 18 months to leave the United States, announcing Monday that it will not renew the Temporary Protected Status designation that has allowed them to remain in the country since a 2010 earthquake leveled the island country's capital and killed 200,000. Announced Monday by the Department of Homeland Security, the decision is likely to please immigration hard-liners who have urged the administration to end the program on the grounds that it was never intended to provide long-term residency…

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is investigating the poaching of a cow elk, which occurred on Nov. 10 or 11 in southern Game Management Unit 5A about 10 miles north of Strawberry. The elk was found near U.S. Forest Service Road 308H, which is a closed road near USFS Road 308. Evidence found at the scene indicates the poachers were likely camped off the closed road and they also illegally killed an unidentified non-game bird in the same location. There was no elk season going on at the time the poaching occurred. Investigating officers also discovered bloody fingerprints on litter found at the scene and possible DNA evidence was recovered as well. “We are hoping the public may remember seeing a camp on the closed road during this particular weekend and can provide some vehicle or suspect descriptions,” Game and Fish Wildlife Officer Garrett Fabian said. “Getting some information now means we won’t have to wait a long time for lab results to come back to identify the suspects.” Anyone with information about the case can call the Department’s Operation Game Thief Hotline toll-free at (800) 352-0700 or use the online form at www.azgfd.gov/ogt. Callers should provide case number 17-004469, information obtained will remain confidential and callers may remain anonymous upon request. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered in this case for information leading to the arrest of the violator(s).To learn more about Operation Game Thief, visit www.azgfd.gov/ogt.

chris herring 2017Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman Chris Herring: All Politics are local. Whether it’s your local school board, city council, legislature or statewide offices, we can and are making a difference locally. As Chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Party, I wanted to share with you a brief overview of who we are, what we do, what’s at stake and how you can get involved. As the largest Republican county in the United States, first and foremost, we work to ensure that we stay the largest Red county by focusing on our local elections. While Republicans in Arizona have a slight edge, we are fighting every day to keep Maricopa County red. We have nearly 2,900 grassroots neighborhood leaders and volunteers who just last month connected with nearly 6,000 voters throughout the County by going door to door. We also do voter registration events, community outreach and work to make sure we get our voters to the polls. So why does all this matter to you? Because we have a number of important swing districts that will determine the overall balance in the legislature and could influence municipal leadership in 2018 and beyond. We, like you, want to protect the individual freedom that we’ve been blessed with and the job growth that Arizona has been experiencing. As we head into the 2018 cycle I’ll be sharing with you about our 2017 successes, and more about how we plan to win in 2018. Please take a minute and visit our website and learn more about ways you can get involved, donate and make a difference in your party. You can learn about my leadership team and view the platform we stand for as well. Join our grassroots effort today and help keep Maricopa County red.

Bruce Piepho - Sierera VistaActivist Bruce M Piepho: Arkansas school districts are beginning to roll out “In God We Trust” posters in their classrooms this week after a state law passed in August allowed the national motto to be displayed in classrooms. Activists? Are you going to insist our legislature do the same thing?  We have already lost three generations to the progressive socialists and we don't need to look more.  You need only watch the opening ceremonies of an NFL game to know that.  On the other hand, don't bother.  You already know what these people have been taught: propaganda! See how Arkansas Brought GOD Back Into The Classroom Let your state legislators know you want them to pass this type of state law. I just did.

The Fountain Hills Republican Club (FHRC) will have an entry in the Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day “Winter in the Southwest” Parade. The parade starts at 9 a.m. at the corner of El Lago and Saguaro and proceeds north on Saguaro then west on Palisades then east on La Montana.  Last year the FHRC won best motorized entry with "Mr. Trump goes to Washington" to correspond to last year's Hollywood/movie theme.   This parade is the largest Thanksgiving Day Parade west of the Mississippi.  If interested in participating, contact parade chairman Chris Brant at chrisppbrant@gmail.com or 480-837-9725.
