Election of a Yuma County Republican Chairman is scheduled at the Tues., May 23 Yuma County Central Committee meeting. Potential candidates are reportedly Russ Jones, Connie and Russ Clark.

Auditor Says: (Former AZ Gov) Janet-Napolitano-Hid-Stash Of $175M at Berkeley; Home-Antifa-Protests … The University of California school system and the site of an ongoing free speech battle has another problem—corruption. In the battle over free speech, President Janet Napolitano has been criticized for not taking action to protect the university, free speech, and the First Amendment of the Constitution. Janet Napolitano has a bigger problem, though. A state audit found that the University of California—and in particular, Napolitano’s office of the president—hid a stash of $175 million in secret funds while its leaders requested more money from the state…

Russell Sias, La Paz County Chairman writes: I have been harping on our bylaws and our lack of adherence to them. Some of you have noticed, and have given me the following information. Feel free to correct me if you have different information. In the previous four years of the former state chairman; his first year, he had the three executive committee meetings as prescribed by the bylaws. In his second year, he had just two of these three required meetings. In his third year, he had but one meeting, and in 2016, he didn’t have any. This fits with the time I have been on the committee.

Further, it was reported that in the meeting when budget’s were presented, it was a slide show; flashed by so quickly, that few had the opportunity to understand what they were seeing, let alone review any data. This smacks of top down leadership, certainly not one of the people. The pertinent bylaw: “The executive committee shall approve the annual budget and review and counsel the state chairman on all programs relating to the state party. The executive committee shall meet at least three times each year.”

Do we want to operate on Nancy Pelosi’s standard of ...if you want to know what is in it, vote for it to find out; or do we want to take the time to review and consider the budget before we rubber stamp it (like we did on 11 March)? Any of this concern you? See bylaws at Arizona_Republican_Party_Bylaws_Rev_2011_01_22.pdf. Read them! If you are part of the bylaws committee as I am, let’s actually discuss our bylaws. Together, we can work to fix this foppery. Contact:

Activist Randy Miller: I grew up with the understanding that Chauvinism was limited to basically being "Sexists" in ones belief.  Saying stupid things like "Women should be at home" would be an example.  I never bothered to look it up and see what was included in the term until I was asked by Tatiana what it meant.  (She is trying to understand our terms since Russian is her primary language.)  So I looked it up. Much to my surprise, I see that each of you, myself included are "Chauvinistic".   I would appreciate your comments on this.  Has this always been part of the definition? Or is this a recent addition as part of the Liberal Left's attempt at labeling patriots in their war on sovereignty and patriotism?  If so, then we should see name calling to include "Anti chauvinists".

The Colorado River Tea Party will host an appreciation rally - in celebration of President Donald Trumps “Make America Great Again” successes - between noon and 3 pm., Sat., June 24 in Ramada #28 in Joe Henry Memorial Park (near the children’s playaground on the NE side of the park.) HQ is now located on the SW corner of the shopping center at Ft Lowell/Campbell – next door to Rosa’s Mexican Food, according to LD9 Chairman Brad Johns.

Arizona Dems Going After Flake: Alexis Tameron, Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party statement: “Jeff Flake’s refusal to forcefully condemn the revised Republican healthcare bill, which allows states to opt out of covering pre-existing conditions while protecting such coverage for members of Congress, demonstrates Flake’s inability to stand up for Arizonans when it truly matters. From tacitly supporting previous versions of the bill, to endorsing cuts to Medicaid, Flake has been on the wrong side of this issue from the beginning. Unless he condemns this bill, voters will remember his tacit support when they head to the polls in 2018.”

Candidates Are Being Sought for the 2018-2020 Arizona Federation of Republican Women Executive Committee before May 1. Arizona Citizens Defense League President Dave Kopp: We would not be able to defend our rights at the legislature without your help. Nearly everything Arizona Citizens Defense League does is funded with your support. For that, we thank you. Since our last update, Governor Ducey has signed 3 of our supported pro-rights bills into law. The bills are as follows:

HB 2216 Signed 04/18/17 Prevents the mandate of “smart gun” technology in firearms.

HB 2477 Signed 04/12/17 Reforms civil asset forfeiture laws.

SB 1344 Signed 04/12/17 Removes the authority of political subdivisions to regulate firearms possession of their employees or independent contractors while they're in or on their own property or vehicles.

It looks as if this session is beginning to wind down, but there are a few pro-rights bills awaiting further meetings that need your help. Click here to pledge your continued support of the fight for our rights.

Arizona Supt of Public Instruction Diane Douglas has kicked off the Phoenix launch of the Zip Code Project, a program at the Arizona Department of Education that assists disconnected youth. “It is impossible for our education system to prepare students to be successful citizens if they are not attending school,” Douglas said. “Our mission with the Zip Code Project is to help these young adults get back on track to a fulfilling, happy and productive life. Our job is to give them every opportunity to get a first-class education, as well as a chance to pursue their hopes and dreams.” The event was hosted in the South Phoenix at South Mountain High School, which along with Maryvale, are the two communities that were launched in the Phoenix area. Chinle and Ajo are the other two zip codes that have integrated the program into their communities. Starting from the ground floor in 2015 with limited funding, Zip Code Manager Christopher Dickinson has collaborated and partnered with local clergy, community organizations, cities, neighborhoods, parole and probation officers, alternative high schools, as well as education and business leaders to assist these youth. “The Zip Code Project leverages public-private partnerships to identify and implement solutions and resources to prevent to assist with dropout prevention and support alternative paths to success,” Dickinson said. “This is not an easy issue to combat, but I am grateful to all of the communities for their continuous support and dedication. I look forward to even further expansion of this program to more zip codes throughout the state in the near future.”

Arizona Town Crier Jim Ehl: In regard to Navajo County Republican Committee Chairman Steven Slaton’s e-mail to GOP County Chairmen asking for support of potential request by the AZGOP Executive Committee for a forensic audit of the former AZGOP Executive Committee - which has drawn both support and fire from fellow county chairmen. 4-24-17-Briefs This clearly shows that even some of the county chairmen cannot work as a team.  Here we see where one chair simply  ask for support and another chair wanting to act as a BMOC (Big man of the campus)  In addition to that we continue and read some comments from another County Chairman, Chairman Russell Sias of La Paz county.  Here we have a County Chairman who has the backbone to point out the duties and failure of the state Executive Committee and nothing done about it!!    Required meeting of the Executive committee????  AZ GOP budget???  Finance committee???  Treasurer's accountability???  Bylaws????  If you are a state committeeman you should know the bylaws by heart!  County chairmen??  County chairmen??  The Arizona Town Crier emailed ever county chair and asked if they received the Arizona Town Crier emails.   Only 6 had the courtesy to respond!!  What does that tell one about the leadership in AZ GOP??? Readers!!!  Doesn’t any of this concern you?   Oh, there is the old saying, ‘If it doesn’t affect your pay or liberty, don’t sweat it!”  But it does concern you!  As members of the Republican Party you have a moral obligation to stand up for the Republican principles and voice of WE THE PEOPLE against the AZ GOP inside establishment.  Review ARC title 16.  How many laws have been broken and who has done what about it??

The Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission met last week in Phoenix. The Commissioners are Chairman Colleen Coyle Mathis, Vice chair Scott Day, and commissioners Cid R Kallen, Linda C McNulty and Richard P. Stertz.

Activist Stephen Sivigliano: Is it just a random coincidence that we are witnessing all the violence, and threats of violence all over the country, not just at college campuses?  I find it inconceivable that these are just random events.  They are planned, paid for, and staged by someone the media refuses to even speculate on, because they are complicit.  Is it Soros, the Clintons, the Obamas, the Russians, Hollywood, or the media itself.  Rush has proclaimed the dimmycrats are now being controlled by the media, not the reverse.  What is the ultimate agenda of whomever it is whose running this evil show...  anarchy, the toppling of our government, therefore, our country and all our freedoms?  Is it the Muslim world doing it?  The answer, my friends, is not blowing in the wind.  It's out there somewhere. If someone doesn't find him/her or them soon, we will be in big, deep doo doo.  No, I'm not saying the sky is falling, just that something very evil is happening.  Can the Donald save us, or do we need more than that to stop the coming catastrophe.  So much for this rant.
