Saddlebrooke Republican Club Censures Senators McCain And Flake: Yesterday, the SaddleBrooke Republican Club (SBRC), one of the largest Republican Clubs in Arizona, acted on the unanimous vote of its membership last Wednesday by sending letters of censure to Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake. McCain, after running for re-election on a “repeal Obamacare” platform and after seven plus years of Republican attempts to repeal Obamacare, turned his back on the people of Arizona and voted to keep Obamacare. McCain abandoned support of Candidate Trump as the Republican Presidential Candidate and has continued to attack our President after the election. Senator McCain has shown himself to be not a Republican expressing American values but a closet progressive espousing globalist values, according to SBRC Vice President Richard D. Brinkley’s press release. Flake also abandoned Candidate Trump as the Republican Presidential Candidate and has continued his attacks post-election. Flake was a co-sponsor of a bill to restore freedom of travel to Cuba without demanding the release of political prisoners or the cessation of torture. Flake’s vote in favor of Obama’s illegal executive scheme earned Flake the title of ‘Sanctuary Senator’. Despite the title of his most recent book, Flake is no Barry Goldwater, Brinkley’s said.

About the SBRC: The SaddleBrooke Republican Club is one of the largest Republican Clubs in Arizona. The centerpiece of what we do is our monthly speaker’s education program. During non-election years, our forums address subjects of special interest to our membership. Examples are lack of border control, radical Islam, and Medicaid expansion, as well as updates from public officials. One of our strongest assets is the American Issues Policy Group, which has been in existence since 2008. This is our own think tank that has published numerous policy position papers that have been communicated to our elected officials at the State and Federal levels. - Vice President Richard D. Brinkley

LD22 State Committeewoman Karen Thomas:  Thank you Warren Woodward of Sedona for your post about the Dangers of Smart Meters.  I’ve known about this problem for a couple of years but have not done much about it except send e-mails to some residents here in Sun City Grand. I have ordered the DVD “Take Back Your Power” and will ask the board members at SCG to view it and, hopefully, alert the residents so we can rid this serious problem in my community.  I’ve also asked our LD22 Chairman to ask our board members to view the free video.  My hope is that we can make this a project in LD22 and that it will spread to other LDs.

Long-Time GOP Activist Jan Martinson: How could someone be so impaired, vote in the first place? I think these congressmen should be required to have a complete physical each year, to determine if they are of sound mind! John McCain Says He ‘Accidentally’ Voted No On Healthcare Repeal …Senator John McCain stunned the whole nation by voting NO on the Obamacare annul on the Senate floor a few days ago, yet despite the fact that he…

Former AZGOP Chair Tom Morrissey: If you read Arpaio Open to Trump Pardon on Sheriff Joe (AZ Republic) you will see an unabashed bias against this man who is a victim (so are we) of the out of control Left.  This, from a failing newspaper, that is so left leaning you might think that the editor is George Soros.  After the Arpaio article there is a very enlightening article on the Sheriff's case by Larry Klayman, Sheriff Joe Arpaio Falls Victim To Biased Judicial System which, if nothing else, balances the article in the AZ Republic which explains what went on with Sheriff Joe's battle against the Left aka the Ruling Class Establishment Elite. Worth a read!

Nancy Russell Plencner of Fountain Hills:  Surely it must be an urban myth or a colossal joke?  Reportedly, Grant Woods, former Arizona Attorney General, would be the ailing Senator John McCain’s choice to fill his Senate seat.  Last I checked the Governor of the Great State of Arizona Doug Ducey would make the call.  The benefit of being a several-decades-long political activist is that the memory bank is full of all sorts of interesting that comes to mind is Fred-Duval-Kicks-Off-Gov-Campaign-With-Ads-Featuring-Grant-Woods-Failed-Fiesta-Bowl-Fiasco-Investigator

from the Phoenix New Times.  It details Grant Woods who was hired to investigate the Fiesta Bowl Fiasco and reported that nothing was out of line at the Bowl. The headline of the link is titled, "the Failed Fiesta Bowl Fiasco Investigator and his endorsement of Democrat Fred Duval for Governor."  That would have been DuVal's race against Doug Ducey, our current Republican Governor.  And just to add some spice to the debate about Grant Woods and the Republican Party, recall that Woods also has a long history of endorsing Democrats over Republicans, for example; Hillary Clinton, Terry Goddard, and Janet Napolitano. It appears "The Maverick Senator" wants to ensure another Maverick keeps his seat and legacy intact.  Surely there is a Republican in good standing, an individual we all could support should an appointment become necessary.  Perhaps readers of this publication might like to help the process by placing a call to our Governor offering some names.  Editor’s Note: Unconfirmed reports currently circulating are that Kirk Adams is Gov Doug Ducey choice if an appointment becomes necessary. - ft

“Who is Grant Woods?” a caller asked. Google Grant Woods and Grant_Woods pops up with this description: “Grant Woods (born May 19, 1954) served as attorney general of Arizona from 1991 until 1999. Woods was a supporter of John McCain in his race for the Republican U.S. Senate nomination against J.D. Hayworth in 2010. Woods was McCain's chief of staff when he was a congressman. During the U.S. Presidential election of 2016 he has been the only Arizona Republican to have held high office to endorse the Democratic candidate for President, Hillary Clinton. Regarding the two Presidential candidates, Donald Trump (Republican) and Hillary Clinton (Democrat) he wrote, “Hillary Clinton is one of the most qualified nominees to ever run for president. Donald Trump is the least qualified ever. The stakes are too high to stand on the sideline. I stand with Hillary Clinton for president.” Woods, considered a moderate-to-liberal Republican, was attorney general from 1991 to 1999. In the 1980s, Woods was the first congressional chief of staff for now-U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and is a longtime friend and confidant of McCain's.”

Russell Sias, La Paz County Chairman: There are some petty obnoxious negative things being said about Kelli Ward in regard to a fund raising flyer their campaign has turned out. It includes a pic of the now fairly famous one of Griffin with Trump's head. The comments that are being made are pretty negative about using that pic. Before I jumped to conclusions, I asked. As I understand, the purpose of the pic is to discuss just how far the left is willing to go, and that the pic was included to demonstrate the insanity of the left. I agree the pic is disgusting, no problem with that, but how else do we get the message across that we are in a very real fight for our country and our constitution, with and coming from these disgusting left leaning morons who will go to ANY length to destroy this country? Part of the problem is that the vast majority of people in this country are disconnected, especially from political issues.  It appears that the flyer was trying to say, which would you prefer, a conservative Kelli Ward, or some left wing fruit that pulls crap like Griffin did? In light of what I got told about the flyer, I will support Kelli Ward every time!
