Activist Lolly Hathhorn: Lori Urban and Jeff DeWit did a fantastic job in welcoming all the Trump volunteers on Saturday 9/23/17.  Saw a lot of old friends and met a few new ones and had a wonderful time.  Thank you Lori.  You’re the best!

Nancy Russell Plencner: Less then a year ago, during the height of the election season I was bombarded with Reelect McCain ads.  Our good Senator stared into the camera and told each Arizonan that he, John McCain, must be returned to the Senate because he would be the "key" vote on repeal of the horror called Obamacare.  Well he was right.  He will be the key vote on Obamacare repeal this coming Tuesday when once again he will stand shoulder to shoulder with the Democrats and vote NO! and thus defeat another repeal bill. There are only three reasons why our Senior Senator would vote NO!  One, he and other Washington Elites pre-election, could safely promise they would vote for repeal because with 100% certainty they knew Hillary would be President and she would never sign a repeal bill.  Two, his animosity for our Republican President is well known and apparently in McCain's mind supersedes the good of the country.  Three, Glioblastoma. I know a lot about the horror of this diagnosis, it took my husband's life in 2002.   So, I can only believe that the ailing Senator's brain cancer is having an impact on his judgement.  It matters not what is driving his NO vote, whether an out and out lie told by McCain to get reelected, or his illness.  It should never have come to this.  Therefore I'm saying it straight to you John, for the good of the Country please step aside and allow our Republican Governor to appoint a solid Republican to fill the Arizona Senate seat... a Republican who will in fact be that Key Vote on Repeal of Obamacare, and a supporter of the rest of President Trump's agenda that won him the White House.

LD24 PC Tristan Manos: "Ever since I emailed LD24 Chairman Barry Wong my resignation as the LD24 website and Facebook page manager, in mid-January this year (also offering to help Barry and the new person throughout the transition and beyond), the question remains eight months later: who’s going to run them? The LD24 website has been down going on approx. 3+ months. Where is it? What made it go away? What's going on? Maintaining a website and social media presence for the greater community— especially those being served and represented—is a high priority, right? We’re beginning to see a pattern moving away from that, even though there's LD24 PCs and Republicans throughout the community who'd like to see better. Getting this into Bylaws may be a good idea. Then again, seeing some trends throughout the LDs, the MCRC, and the AZGOP, what good are Bylaws to some people (even when saying "shall"), anyway?" Contact:

LD30 State Committeeman Timothy Schwartz: I recently asked that letters be written to Board of Supervisors Chairman Denny Barney saying No to the Maricopa County Recorder. My letter to Barney: I wish to express disappointment, disdain and contempt with the actions of the Maricopa County Recorder. I feel that strong words are needed in this unusual situation, for the following reasons:

     1. Adrian Fontes won his election because of out-of-State funding from the infamous George Soros. Soros is a well-known for using his wealth to fund groups like Antifa, Black Lives Matter etc. He buses in out-of-state protesters for the purpose creating chaos. He buys elections! The Soros funding of the Fontes campaign can only be viewed with the possibility of these evil intentions in mind. That is why it is so vitally important that the Board of Supervisors use their discretion to “check” the plans and actions of Fontes. Soros has well-funded organizations which carefully plan devious harm. Beware!

     2. Immediately after winning the recorder position - which he had no background, training or previous experience, Fontes began scraping out well-established protocols and adapting new procedures. One could expect that he would give a fair amount of time to acclimate himself into the newness of the job, but with no prior history of the job, immediate changes were implemented. These alarming actions sent chills throughout our County, and have given pause to those of us who know how the system should work.

     3. Helen Purcell, the predecessor, established a trusted platform which allowed oversight and accountability when she (a Republican) made Karen Osborn (a Democrat) her second in command. This bipartisan action gave assurance to both Democrats and Republicans. Fontes eliminated the bipartisan oversight (excluding Republicans) and hired operatives from out of State to assist in the operation of our Maricopa County Elections - which furthered the mistrust of the community. These examples should put all citizens in Maricopa County on edge. Fontes should be penalized or removed from his position - at the very least, he must be placed on a very short leash!

The Board of Supervisors have the power and responsibility to make sure our County Government runs the way it's supposed to. I implore you to make every effort to make sure Fontes is not allowed any privileges which might permit him to harm our elections processes. I am in strong opposition to Fontes having jurisdiction to alter our precinct boundaries. Editor’s Note: Schwartz letter has been condensed due to length. – ft Contact: 623-522-7359

Michigan’s Ronna Romney McDaniel, who has had a meteoric rise to chairwoman of the Republican National Committee this year, says the biggest adjustment has been the number of miles she is logging.” I think we’re at 67,000 miles just for fund-raising miles, not including other party events, such as ones aimed at energizing the grass roots, she said. “I love it — traveling the country,” said McDaniel, a niece of 2012 Republican presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. "She defended President Donald Trump’s record, saying he is doing a great job and has accomplished much through executive actions, but “now we need some help from Congress.”
“Repeal and replace is tough, and it’s hard when you have 52 votes in the Senate,” McDaniel said shortly after Sen. John McCain of Arizona announced Friday that he would be the second Republican senator to vote no on the latest Republican health care bill. “That’s a very slim margin, and we need to expand that majority in the Senate so we can finally get this done, if we can’t get it done now.” McDaniel, who was elected RNC chair in January, said she has to stay neutral in Republican primaries, but she said the buzz surrounding a possible Republican U.S. Senate bid has helped bring attention to the Michigan race and highlighted the vulnerability of U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Lansing." To read more, click
