Arizona Freedom Alliance pulls no punches in labeling the Maricopa County Republican Members-at-Large candidates up for election at the Jan 13 Mandatory meeting. AFA points out “There are a total of 16 candidates.  Of those 16, only FIVE (5) - FIVE - are true conservative, anti-establishment folks who do not run for every and any office they can find, just for the fun of it: Tristan Manos (LD24), Joe Neglia (LD26) (Parliamentarian), Janell Soyster Buchholdt (LD23), Kay Reardon (LD25), Elwood "Butch" Kuentzler (LD4). See Watchabecallums Republicans poised to elect MAL officers , “Wally Campbell (female) (LD13), Dino Eliades (LD18) (who we remember once being a conservative), Van Di Carlo (LD22, arguably the most liberal LD in Maricopa County),  Johnny Melton (LD21) and Columbian-born, Monica Yelin (LD1).  This is your ‘we will vote just the way we are told’ candidates for the Member-at-Large seats.”

Things Are Already Getting Down And Dirty in the Feb 27 election to fill Congressman Trent Franks seat. It seems someone has spray painted swastikas on candidate Phil Lovas’ campaign signs at 79th Ave/Thunderbird Road in Peoria. Lovas, who was President Trum’s Arizona campaign chairman, said, "It absolutely makes me sick that someone would deface the sign and be disrespectful to the president like that," said Lovas.

ARIZONA PROJECT will meet at 6:30 pm., Mon., Jan 8 at 3375 E Shea Blvd in Phoenix. Fellow Patriots to hear retired US Marine Ray Sweeney. Contact: Chr Ron Ludders  602.677.1496

Activist Marianne Ferrari: I'm glad to see your back up and running. I hope that you are feeling great, now. I have been thinking about you every day. There may not be another person in the conservative realm as well-loved as you are. You are the one who puts out more effort more consistently than anyone else! Don't think we don't notice!

Activist Karen Thomas: PROXY ALERT!!! The proxy form included in the Jan 4 e-mail from the MRC has been revised from the one that was sent with the first call letter.  All proxies must be carried by someone from your own precinct.  The proxy that was sent with the first call letter will be accepted so long as the person carrying it is from your precinct.  However, if possible, please use the proxy included in the Jan 4 e-mail from the MCR as it will speed up the process of proxy validation.

Apache County Republican Committee Secretary Gail Montanye Golden - Candidate Protocol: To keep our business meetings on track, we hope candidates and their representatives can help in the following ways: Any candidate who would like to be placed on the agenda to speak, please contact Gail Golden, Secretary (928 207 7880 or at least 10 days in advance of the meeting date. Candidates who just “show up” will be limited to five minutes to introduce themselves. Candidate Petitions may be circulated but not to interfere with the meetings or guest speakers. Meeting dates in 2018 are the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm, contact Gail for the location.

Tom Niewulis aka Sam Adams: I have been discussing a number of thoughts and perspectives with Rose Sperry for a number of years. I have had the privilege in the past to speak at a number of groups throughout Arizona both as my alter-ego Sam Adams and the lecture I present called “The Tale of Two Constitutions”. I have been involved in party politics for over 40 years and as you can see the title of one of my books in my signature below helps define my position even from a matter of terminology and word usage. With that said, I wanted to share with you the response I made to a post that Rose put up on Facebook beginning “Don’t mess with my Free Speech!”. I’m sharing my response in hope that you may publish it in your publication.

My FB Response to Rose: The repudicans will never properly raise up Constitutional Candidates nor Vet the candidates according to State and Federal Constitutionalism. The second point is that the churches are not raising up the moral and virtuous people that our Founders expected to be those that would run for office. With that, I am proposing what I was a part of prior to the 2010 elections. A solid Vetting Process as well as that true candidate development be established.

The political parties, including the repudicans, only want to create creatures of their own kind, which are to have those elected that can raise money for the party on personality, have some quasi-conservative value (and you know what I say about that in my book) and ultimately want to build the establishment in favor of the party for power politics and not "Liberty" as defined by the Founders. Our best opportunity is again for the Grassroots Citizens groups to take this on. The repudicans will never do it since it does not fit their best interests.

If you want to learn more about the Vetting process we did and I am working towards reinvigorating where I am let me know. Sadly, I'm not sure if the citizenry is really interested in the effort required to be nation of self-governing for the purposes of Foundational Liberty. I think most are more of what De Tocqueville described, which describes what the political parties and bureaucratically run government has done: "…After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp, and fashioned them at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a net-work of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided: men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting: such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates (weakens), extinguishes, and stupefies (unable to think clearly) a people, till each nation is reduced to be nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd. …” ........ Now the parties only want and have produced 'Sheeple'! RADIO ARCHIVES: HTTP://SAMUELADAMSRETURNS.NET TOM@SAMUELADAMSRETURNS.COM 360-513-6853

Chairman Steven Slaton of the NCRC received this Silly and sad envelope from former Treasury Dustin Graham on Dec 15th, 2017. As you all know we are in a huge Battle with the AZGOP and State Senator Sylvia Allen.

Nav letHere is Chairman Slaton’s Dec 18, 2017 response to Dustin Graham and an added e-mail from an AZRA member.: We got your silly little envelope today; This Shows An Immaturity I Haven’t Seen Since The 2nd Grade -- being associated with Sylvia’s and Johnathan Lines complete disregard for the rule of law, by laws, and state statutes is a perfect example of one’s ignorance. Because you have never turned over the treasurer’s records, as required in the NCRC bylaws, following Lines lawlessness, you are persona non-grata to all conservative organizations of merit. You, or as you stated “we” made the NCRC great again might be an overstatement… Bootlickers degrade any organization unwilling to stand and do the right thing. Humiliating Tracy in front of the Board, after her weeks of hard work voluntarily auditing the books was a clue to your character…. You humiliated her in front of everyone, and when it was obvious it hurt her terribly (she was crying) it didn’t seem to matter a bit to you…. apparently, you being Treasurer was more important! - Steven Slaton, Chairman , Navajo County Republican Committee

phil lovas 2018US House Candidate Phil Lovas: The campaign is off to a great start! However, I have some unfortunate news to share. One of our campaign signs was defaced with a vile symbol – a swastika. See the video here: The sign, formerly located at 79th Ave. and Thunderbird Ave., is down now, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of this vicious assault on the campaign. I expect further attacks because of my association with the President. But, as I said many times during the campaign, I will not back down and will continue to stand up and support him and his agenda.

Frank Riggs 4Supt of Public Instruction candidate Frank Riggs: Did you know that a recent study found nearly 1 in 2 K-8 students in Maricopa County don't attend the district school to which they were assigned based on home address?  The actual number is undoubtedly higher since the study only included district and charter school students, and didn't take into account those who attend private schools or are homeschooled.  For decades, our state has been a national leader in educational freedom in the belief that parents know their own children best and should be empowered to select the school and educational model that is the right fit. I've been a leader of the school choice movement, nationally and in Arizona, for over three decades.  None of my opponents in the Republican primary for Superintendent of Public Instruction come close to my record.  When it comes to school choice, I've walked my talk. As a U.S. Congressman and Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Education, I authored the Charter School Expansion Act of 1998 to transfer funds out of DC to help new charter schools with their start-up costs.  That legislation was signed in October of that year by Pres. Bill Clinton, two months before I cast my final votes as a Member of Congress on the Articles of Impeachment against him.  I also sponsored the first voucher bill put to a vote on the House floor to give "HELP" scholarships to low-income parents (Helping Empower Low-Income Parents).  After I left Congress to keep my term limits commitment, the conservative Heritage Foundation said, "Representative Riggs spearheaded many cutting-edge initiatives like school choice and charter schools." I then helped build, and led as CEO, a national nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution that assisted charter schools serving low-income student populations in acquiring, financing and building their school facilities, including 12 Arizona charter schools educating over 5,000 students in grades K-12. I was also the founding president of Arizona Connections Academy, a K-12, tuition-free, online school. I believe parents have the fundamental and absolute right (and responsibility!) to choose and direct their child's education.  As the next Supt. of Public Instruction, I will empower parents, and protect and promote competition and choice in K-12 education!
