President-Trump-Address-Nation-At 11 am Today-On Florida-School-Shooting

Folks, Be Very Wary Of making contributions or sending emails/letters of support to out of state e-mails/causes/candidates that are flooding your incoming boxes these days. Some of them are hoax, others are ploys to get your e-mail on their mailing lists, others are begging for money to forward their message (via you) to congressional delegates – as if you aren’t capable of contacting your congress delegation yourself. Zach Taylor, Chairman of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers, has sent out warning signals about an e-mail that is circulating from an alleged Iowa woman asking for support for the New American Economy which Taylor points out is a coalition of business leaders and mayors launched by Michael Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch to influence public opinion and policymakers toward comprehensive immigration reform (amnesty). NOTES FROM READERS

Opinions expressed by readers are not necessarily those of the Briefs. Commentary running over 400 words is subject to editing. – ft

ATTN READERS: Zack Taylor, Chairman of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers www.NAFBPO.org to Christine Stineman - I find your organization, New American Economy, is working against the best interests of the National Security and Public Safety of the American people. New American Economy is a coalition of business leaders and mayors launched by Michael Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch to influence public opinion and policymakers toward comprehensive immigration reform. In a word what you and your organization are proposing is amnesty for illegal aliens.  The DACA Program is an unlawful Executive Order that establishes Sanctuary Status for Illegal Aliens residing illegally inside the United States. What this boils down to is America is either a Nation of Laws or it is not.  What you are proposing is not only illegal under current law but an abrogation of national sovereignty and I find both objectionable. (Editor’s Note: Zach is responding to a message from a Christine Stineman who is circulating an-mail soliciting signatures for a letter that the New American Economy is sending to congress. Her e-mail says NAC is a “bipartisan group of business leaders” who want to “create a constitutional fix for young Dreamers with the DACA program.” - ft.

Gina Swoboda, Election Integrity, UPDATE: Final Committee Updates for today: HB2206, as amended, passed committee 7-0. SB1466, as amended, passed committee 4-3. Thank you so much everyone!!! I will continue to monitor these bills and report back.

Russell Sias, La Paz County Chairman: I grant that the issue of protecting our own from the lawless is a problem. However, do those that want to remove my ability to protect myself and my family realize that, by default, and because they are denying me my right to protect those around me, are in reality, accepting the responsibility to do so themselves? Instead of allowing me to do so myself? Really? I suspect they refuse to see this. Do they understand this plain and simple fact? Now, should these folks (with their head in this particular cloud) actually figure out how to get the lawless to follow the law as they seem to want them to do, I would happily go along with their plan. Then there would no longer be a need to be carrying. Till they figure out that my surrendering my fundamental right to protect my own is not a risk to me and mine, I will be doing this job myself. Further, I will no longer be going into those places where signs are posted that are intended to disallow my ability to protect me and my own.

LD27 PC Art Olivas, Jr after having my fill of cake walks in the park, socials meetings and witnessing the decline of attendance of hard working members in our LD27! Last week we had about 14 members and 3 visitors. Again we had some no show of some of our elected officials. Why do we have we no shame? As I have said over and over, my family has lived and died in the service of our country, my daughter - who was retired from the Navy - passed away last year, and my 92 year old uncle - who was a paratrooper in World War 11- passed away last month! I still have grandchildren, nieces and nephews putting themselves in harm’s way in defense of our country while we squander it away!! HOW?? This is the best example. At our last meeting our chairman stated that our Republican Party was being run from the top down! Jonathan Lines and his RINOs are running the Party and ignoring us the people! You should have seen the uproar as the members complain to one another about what was going on! Then they brought me in to the picture- talking about my speech saying I was right. I got up and said we b***ch, moan and groan, yet, we do nothing. I asked them to join me in going to GOP H.Q. on 24th St. and protest when Lines was there! You could have heard a pin dropped. Needless to say I had NO takers. It was then, that I asked “HAVE WE NO SHAME??” Who is killing us? Every so called grassroots conservative who is too lazy to save themselves! If the shoe fits, wear it !! I say what I mean and I mean What I say.

Campaign Manager Stephen Shadegg for US Senate candidate Martha McSally: TODAY marks the midpoint of the first quarter of the 2018 and we are behind on our digital fundraising target. We are less than halfway to our minimum goal for the quarter. This is especially alarming because it has just been revealed that Martha McSally's Democrat opponent, Kyrsten Sinema has over $5 MILLION cash on hand for her bid for Senate.
We cannot afford to fall behind.
