Marianne Ferrari, LD20 PC and State Committeeman--Kudos to James Spackman and the Mingus Mountain Republican Club for standing up as a unified group against the egregious behavior of our two senators, McCain and Flake. I am particularly proud that your vote to make your post an open letter to Chairman Lines was unanimous. I have recently spoken to conservatives in five other states. It came to light that in all five, the state Republican party is dominated by RINOs, just as it is here. In three of the five, the state GOP has a majority in the state legislature, yet of those elected Republicans only a small percentage--as small as 10%--are conservatives! The problem with this is that RINOs do not support the party platform. They ignore it, as if it were not there. One has to ask: In how many other states might this also be the case? If it is widespread, then how on earth is Trump going to be able to drain the swamp, without a flow of newly elected conservatives rising up from the 50 states to replace the entrenched RINOs in Congress, who are the main culprits blocking his programs? We have 7 more years to drain the swamp, assuming Trump gets re-elected. It is going to go fast, especially if we can't turn this situation around. RINOs have no rightful place in the party of Lincoln. They are not Republicans. Are they merely deluded, or have they been masquerading as Republicans all this time? That should be the burning question on every conservative mind. The answer may be lying in plain sight--in the apt, and oft-repeated phrase, "Republican in name only."

Activist Jeff Lichter: As an activist, former board member and leader of the Surprise Tea Party, I was thrilled to see this post below in the 2-21 Briefs and ask that it be re-posted with a plea to all the Republican LD's plus any and all Republican groups in our state TO DO THE SAME. We all agree that these two DO NOT REPRESENT US. Repost: President of Mingus Mountain Republican Club President James

Spackman to AZGOP Chairman Jonathan Lines: I am writing to ask for your help. We at the Mingus Mountain Republican Club in Cottonwood want action to be taken to restrain our two rogue Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake. They no longer represent us. They speak against President Trump, and take action against his agenda to take our country back. The media needs to be informed by you or someone in authority that both McCain and Flake do not speak for us. They are no longer working for or with us. To them, we appear to be deplorables. First, Senator Flake spends most all of his time speaking against President Trump. He gets free network exposure doing this. He doesn't approve of the wall or immigration controls. He agrees more with the Democrats than the Republicans. Although he is not running again he appears to want to tear down the country and our President as he goes. Second, Senator McCain is also working against us, and is ineffective in supporting Republican bills. He often speaks and votes against Republican sponsored bills, and now he cannot vote because he is not well enough to be in D.C. We are sorry he is battling for his health, but the fact is that he cannot vote if he too sick to be in D.C. We are sending this letter to all Republican Clubs to let them know we are tired of being used by Senators who don't vote the way they promised. Why should we support them and vote for them when their actions are different than their promises? We want our GOP to make this known to the media and our Senators, McCain and Flake. What will you do? And when? We trust that you will gather a response to this request from our Republican brothers and sisters in Arizona. We are anxious to hear your response—Let's do something!! Contact: Editor's Note: 100% of the Mingus Mountain Club voted to send this letter to Ducey. They have received no answer at post time. – ft

Itasca Small, LD25 PC/SC:  Thank you, Mingus Mountain Republican Club!  It is truly inspiring to see 100% of your membership ACTING by calling-out the AZGOP chairman to ACT for our party, our state and our nation; in the name of our God-given Republican form of government, against the disgraceful conduct of two men who have repeatedly deceived and betrayed We, the People of the Great State of Arizona! Will he ACT?  Maybe?—If not, that doesn't mean we just throw-in-the-towel and sit-by, letting "Senators" McCain and Flake root in the globalist sty, along with their Fellow-RINOS, without letting our righteous indignation engulf them all—, RINOs deceive and betray because they know the words to speak that cloak their true nature and globalist agenda.  It is long-past time for True "Constitutional" Republicans to call jackals in patriot clothing what they are - ravening predators ravaging our party, state and nation—But, the two men ensconced in our senate seats are not alone in betrayal and deceit. . . . Chairman Johnathan Lines, will you respond to our Fellow-Republicans of Mingus Mountain as a "Constitutional" Republican and ACT in the name of We, the Members of the AZGOP, to castigate "Senators" McCain and Flake with the harshest means possible? Or, will you ignore the well-reasoned, logically-sound indictment and appeal, and continue protecting them from the party against whom they have declared enmity? You would do well to choose wisely, Chairman Lines!  The rumbling thunder you hear resounding from Mingus Mountain is only the latest manifestation of the Dynamic Force gathering We, the Constitutional Republicans of Arizona, on Eagles' Wings!

Russell Sias, La Paz County Republican Party Chairman To James Spackman And All The Mingus Mountain Republicans: I am certainly pleased with the Mingus Mountain Republicans who clearly understand and recognize the lack of representation that AZ has suffered from because of  both our AZ senators!  It is time that we ALL spoke out against these two self-motivated knuckle-heads who fail so miserably to represent the citizens of our state.  Thank you, James Spackman, and your Mingus Mountain Republicans!!!  Good for you.  We ALL need to wise up and rid ourselves of these two senators, the sooner the better.  Lead the way!

LD21 PC Randy Miller: Why has no one talked about Hollywood's production and glorification of violence on a daily basis as a blame for school shootings? Or the video game industry that rewards our youth with "points" that allow them to purchase more "maps" and "upgrades" for killing, robbing or conquering others in the game. Or the constant bombardment of hate coming from our politicians on the left towards patriots and God loving people on the right? Can't we see that our society and culture of violence as entertainment is to blame?  Also, our political elite on both sides is to blame with the right cowering to the left's attacks. Why has no real discussion been suggested about this? It's like the left doesn't want to take responsibility and is creating this situation on purpose, politicizing the death and mayhem only to further their socialist agenda by weakening the populace with disarmament. Here is a good video I want to share.  This is Mr. Rogers testifying in front of Congress.  Listen to his concern for the programs presented to our youth way back in 1969. Now we show no concern what so ever that we desensitize our youth with and no adult wants to take responsibility for our violence. I am sick and tired of ignoring the elephant in the room. How many of these youth that are now protesting play these video games, watch these movies and/or listen to the deplorable rhetoric from the Democrat politicians? Has anyone asked them? No. You want to help protect these kids, take away their video games, shut down Hollywood and place blame where it belongs, on the Democrat politicians constantly dividing the country with unsubstantiated and divisive rhetoric.

Activist Leona Johnston: Frosty:  Thank you for the latest post about the Fountain Hills Republican Club's booth at the Great Fair.  It will be helpful in filling the few last slots on the 3 day schedule.  We have received an excellent response. The FHRC will be working very hard for the next 6 months introducing our members to all of the primary candidates from the US Senate to Town Hall beginning with our "Meet The Candidates" event, Saturday, March 17.  We are a reliably Republican community; most "Independents" here lean conservative. We want to give all of the candidates an opportunity to bring their messages to our membership and the community.  We have a lot of new residents from other states and they are anxious to get involved. Messaging will be important.  The messages that we send out must be timely and accurate.  As Publicity Chairman and 1st VP, Program Chair President Rosemary Hansen has asked me to assume the responsibility of sending all of our FHRC news to you.  I'm looking forward to working with you. By the way, we had a huge turnout for Congressman David Schweikert last Saturday.  We  got some people who said that they had never had a chance to actually meet a Congressman before.  His presentation was great with wonderful  discussion from the attendees.  Thanks!  You'll be hearing from me.  Leona Johnston,; 480-837-6068; 480-215-6635 (cell).

Lori Klein Corbin, Secretary Of State Candidate: Potential Legal Issues Due To Instructions Telling Voters To Not Vote For More Than 2 In The CD8 Special Election --

Why hasn’t County Recorder Adrian Fontes and our overseer of elections Michele Reagan caught the mistake in the instructions on the CD8 special election ballot and alerted the voters in CD8? I do hope the media will take it upon themselves to make this known to the voters of CD8. Why have Fontes and Reagan failed to notify voters/people to forget the instructions and vote for only one person. They both know about this and have done nothing to warn voters. They are clearly afraid that people will know about their mistake but it’s time to own up. This omission is the same as a lie or “lie of omission. We are on the eve of an election to replace Congressman Trent Franks and tens of thousands of mail-in ballots have been received and cast --- one has to ask how many people followed the instructions and voted for two instead of one. This not only will invalidate their ballot and vote, it is a potential lawsuit and could trigger a new election which could cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars,” said Lori Klein Corbin who resides in CD8, is running for secretary of state and received the flawed instructions. The ballot was correct but in small letters hardly readable. “This is just another example of incompetence from our country recorder and secretary of state who has already been deemed incompetent by our attorney general for not mailing out over 200,000 publicity pamphlets in a special election,” Klein-Corbin said. However, the voters of Arizona need to know when mistakes happen so they aren’t holding the bag. If our SOS can advertise to ask people to register to vote on the internet in Mexico…why can’t she or Adrian Fontes - who is clearly at fault, alert voters when an important election is underway when confusing instructions were sent out. This is serious and can jeopardize your vote being counted. Call the SOS office at (602) 542-8683 or county recorder at (602) 506-1511. They should provide you with a new ballot or allow you to vote on February 27th if you already cast a ballot by mail for two candidates by mistake. Contact Klein Corbin at (602) 315-1737

Candidate Clair Van Steenwyk’s comments on the CD 8 Sun City GOP Club Forum: We attended the Sun City GOP Forum, mostly Lesko supporters as expected. SC sent invitations to 12 Candidates, 8 yes's and 4 didn’t respond, then 4 didn't show up. Event went well as we had several take literature and said they’d changed who they're voting for. We always hope for this type of result, but also attend to inform voters of what I’m sure they’re never told by most, which is their real voting records. When Candidates don’t show up to meetings during a race they're doing a disservice to the voters in CD 8 and AZ. We’ve had 7 people file in CD 8 who've never been active and 2 don’t reside in CD 8, but all say they want to serve, I question that as when you have opportunities to speak to voters and don’t show up who are you serving and why did you crowd the ballot? If Candidates don’t want to come to the Forums, LD meetings before Elections, why bother getting the signatures? Running for office is a difficult task and shouldn't be taken on by people not putting forth the effort it takes to do so. I over the yrs. have spoken to some wanting to run explaining how much work it is, and 99% don't follow thru, but for those who do they owe those who've signed their petitions to put forth the effort required, and if you're not dedicated to that then your a bad candidate and I don't believe you'll be a Good Representative either.  I don't believe this new crop of Political Opportunists are fulfilling their obligations, and believe the damage they may cause by siphoning off votes may just give a Career Politician a Victory adding to the SWAMP.

Senate candidate Dr Kelli Ward: Sanctuary Senator Jeff Flake isn't giving up on DACA... Now he's planning with the Democrats to attach a DACA-saving provision to the "omnibus" spending bill that must be passed by March 23. That's right, Sanctuary Senator Flake is once again putting "Dreamers" before Americans... and at the risk of yet another government shutdown! Just this morning, Politico confirmed this. They reported that Flake is "looking for every possible avenue to shield enrollees in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program from removal." Friend, Sanctuary Senator Flake and his policies are bad for America and especially Arizona as a border state. That's why I'm reaching out to you for your support... chip-in Friend, I know you agree that immigration and border security is a top priority for Congress. That's why I'm so outraged that both of our senators in Arizona continue to block true immigration reform and the construction of the much-needed Wall along our southern border. Sanctuary Senator Flake and Senator "McAmnesty" McCain's opposition to the President on this is unacceptable... But unlike our "Dreamers First" Senators, I'll work with President Trump to implement the immigration policies and border security measures that Arizonans and conservative Americans want...

· We'll build the Wall

· We'll eliminate the diversity lottery

· We'll end chain-migration

· We'll defund Sanctuary Cities, and

· We'll implement E-Verify in workplaces nationwide

Together we will get this done and Make America Safe Again.
