tristan manos 2017LD24 PC Tristan Manos observing Arizona Educators United (AEU), one of the most radical organizations driving the #RedForEd movement, led by 23-year-old radical activist Noah Karvelis: "At the AEU website, it proudly boasts, 'Securing the Fate of Arizona's Education System. AEU is a coalition of teachers, education support professionals, administrators, and those who care about the state of education in Arizona.  Our goal is to ensure that students have access to highly qualified and experienced teachers, that educators are compensated fairly, and to improve the educational environment in the state of Arizona.' Oh, how ironic it is, then, to see AEU tweet this, along with the approx. 500 times it's been liked and 200 times it's been retweeted (emphasis added, in red, of course)": '@AZEdUnited: The education budget has been passed and signed. Francine Romesburg 2018Francine L Romesburg - Grassroots Tea Party Activists of Arizona Facilitator: My take on Communist ran Deception:  Teachers are supposed to be ‘teaching’ our children difference between right and wrong.  Do they not know how Government works?  How it’s ran; where the money comes from; how it’s dispersed? They were led around by the nose by a Communist driven agitator.  He either didn’t know how government works, or did and purposely deceived everyone with majority falling for it hook, line, and sinker including our current Supt. Of Public Instruction who should have known better. I spoke with a few teachers who finally figured out they were after the wrong people. They should have been going after the l District’s School Boards.  Gov. Ducey’s Prop 123 didn’t work.  Another fiasco supposed to give teachers raises and schools much needed supplies and help in the classrooms but didn’t.
Can the legislators pass a budget for education to help the classrooms, give teachers and staff raises?  Of course they can.  Can the Governor sign these bills?  Of course he can.  Now, ask yourselves WHERE does this money go that was just voted on to give the teachers, staff, and classrooms.  It goes to the Governing School Boards whose job it is to disburse this money to the proper places.  The School Boards are the ones in charge of disbursing the money.  Teachers and staff are not state employees and do not get paid by the state.  they get hired, fired, and paid by the school boards.  The majority of the school boards are not very good stewards of the money disbursed to them.  The money goes to the administrators, admin staff, and everywhere else they find they feel the money is needed and not to the school teachers, students, classrooms, supplies, etc. 20%?  Ha!  State employees have no clue what even a 5% raise looks like.

Tax the wealthy, ignore the law; ignore the state constitution; ignore your responsibility as a teacher – walk out on the students – all sound like Communist tactics?  Read Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals for starters.  Cudos to KFYI talk show hosts telling the truth.
Only a couple candidates running for Supt of Public Instruction understand how the money is disbursed. It’s election time!  Gov Ducey and a few other candidates made this political to make themselves ‘look’ good in the eyes of some of the teachers and public.

Barbara BlewsterActivist Barbara Blewster: Ken Bennett has announced his candidacy for Governor. Go to: www.kenbennett.com to sign his petition and donate $5. Ken is very well qualified. Jim O'Connor, candidate for Corporation Commission needs several hundred more $5contributions for Clean Elections. Please call 202 456-1111 between 6 am and 1 pm Arizona time to communicate with President Trump. Please ask him to confer with the Liberty Caucus, Stop all Trade Agreements and stick with bi-lateral agreements; Bring our troops home; Get rid of the Department of Education and many others.  See /pro-second-amendment-students-plan-school-walkouts

dave kopp 2Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL), Update: Chairman Dave Knopp -- Sine Die (Adjournment): Shortly after midnight on May 4, 2018, the Arizona Legislature officially adjourned their regular session.  Any bills that did not make it through the legislature are dead this year.  The general effective date of bills signed by the Governor is August 3, 2018.  The status and summary of bills that AzCDL monitored this session can be found on our Bill Tracking page. We thank the AzCDL members and activists that sent over 67,000 emails to legislators and the Governor using AzCDL's Legislative Action Center this session.  You made a difference.
Among the casualties of Sine Die was SB 1519, the Governor's "school safety" bill, introduced late in the session, fast tracked in the Senate and seemingly unstoppable - until AzCDL got involved.  We thank the Governor, the bill's sponsor, steve smit 2hLD11 Senator Steve Smith and the legislative leadership for addressing our concerns and significantly amending the original legislation.  More importantly, we thank those of you who generated almost 37,000 emails to their legislators about SB 1519, giving the bill greater exposure and allowing us to impact the outcome.
One bill that survived the session and was sent to the Governor shortly before Sine Die was HB 2212, which would extend the privilege of carrying firearms in Arizona, with certain limited exceptions, to any sworn and certified law enforcement officer employed by any jurisdiction (federal, tribal, state, local, etc.) in the U.S.  HB 2212 was sent to the Governor on May 3.  We have prepared an email for you to send to the Governor urging him to sign HB 2212.  You may send it as is or customize it with your own comments.
Click here to send your email to the Governor.
In other news, HB 2211, the AzCDL-requested bill which will add a personal exemption for firearms to the state's bankruptcy statutes, was signed by the Governor on April 12.
We expect bigger challenges next year. The anti-rights groups are emboldened.  Understanding that they have less chance of restricting your rights at the national level, they are redoubling their efforts as the state level where they have the greatest chance to succeed.  Arizona is their number one target.  They are having an effect.  This year was one of the toughest sessions we've encountered.  We must stay alert and be ready for the next wave of attacks.

Dale GohrDale Gohr of Clarkdale: Why Should We Care About Stormy Daniels and Cohen’s Payoff?: If ignorance were an asset, there would be a treasure trove of multi-billionaires in the US. As things stand, we have an amazing few multi-millionaires and billionaires; some of whom are leading a horribly high percentage of the U.S. population toward academic, fiscal and physical slavery or death - in a mythical socialistic, totalitarian Valhalla. A couple of billionaires pay homage to the likes of George Soros while they lead an insistent mob of entertainment, technology, banking, social media, sports and some business interest people; most of whom are or have been overly pandered, privileged and wealthy into gathering millions of unsuspecting hangers-on to the slaughter. The Halls of Ivy changed dramatically since the early 1900’s, away from the Christian roots they were built upon into the lodges of leftist learning. The new doctrine propagandizes the academic population, which in turn spews the socialistic doctrine into a massive amount of our schools.

Why should we care about the story of Stormy Daniels and President Trump’s lawyer payoff to her? The same people in the legislative, legal and media menagerie in the early 1900’s screamed viciously about any questions and proof of the exploits of the former Attorney General and Governor of Arkansas William Jefferson Clinton and his exploits of unwanted sexual activities, including the claim of rape [Which finally ended in 1998 with an out-of-Court Settlement of President Clinton agreeing to pay Paula Jones and her Attorneys $850,000.. whether the money paid was ‘Campaign or Taxpayer Money’ is questionable.].

I      n the Stormy Daniels—Donald Trump situation, which allegedly happened in 2006 (12 years ago); there is no charge of forced advances. One question arose immediately. How could the alleged attorney payoff even be considered as being from campaign finances when Trump was almost, if not fully financing his own campaign. The money paid to his lawyer for retainer and expenses was the property of Trump, not supporters or taxpayers. Thus, if he had illicit affairs before getting involved in public service it is none of my business and most probably none of your business, either, especially since the expense was not public funds . As long as it has nothing to do with public property, finance, job or standing any affairs he or anyone else has, is between the participants, their spouse(s), their family(s) and Almighty God.
