RNC-Fights-Blue-Wave; Already-Contacting-20-Million-Voters- "Heading into the summer with a major cash advantage over the Democrats, the Republican National Committee says its efforts to contact voters ahead of the November midterms are on pace to match, and in some categories have already surpassed, the 2016 presidential election."The RNC told NBC News it has already made 20 million traditional voter contacts by phone or door knocking this election cycle, a large number for a non-presidential election year. That's just part of the total 487 million contacts it says it has already made this cycle, including emails opened (250 million), calls made for data gathering purposes (183 million), digital petitions or surveys completed (19 million), direct mail sent (9.6 million), and get-out-the-vote calls made (5.6 million).Enthusiasm is up and Americans want to see this great comeback continue. We see that reflected in our record fundraising and in our surge of new volunteers who have already helped us connect with millions of voters,' RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel said in a statement…"

NOTES FROM READERS

Opinions expressed by readers are not necessarily those of the Briefs. Commentary running over 400 words is subject to editing. Briefs posts candidate announcements, but does not endorse candidates, nor do we post endorsement statements. - ft.

Zack Taylor, Chairman NAFBPO: In this short video Bryan Dey confirms what www.NAFBPO.0rg has been saying for years. Americans must understand that people from other countries are not like Americans. Pay particular attention to the fact that the female age of consent in Mexico is 12 years of age. There was a reason that the words “Good Moral Character” was inserted in our Immigration Laws as the American Standard to be applied to immigrants. lation comedian reveals truth on immigration

Former two-term Maricopa County Republican Chairman Rob Haney: The latest mid June approval ratings show AZ voters rate Governor Ducey at 31%.  And only 26% believe he deserves to be re-elected. This may reflect his failure to stand up to the anti-gun lobby and his cave-in to the union government employees who violated their contract and illegally went on strike. Or it may reflect Ducey's close ties to the McCain syndicate of corruption. In any case, we need a conservative who is not beholding to the Republican Establishment just like Trump. That Constitutional Conservative is Ken Bennett and he is running under the "Clean Elections" provisions of AZ law and needs us to give $5 contributions for him to qualify for campaign funds as he explains in his attached memo.   Please give him $5 so we can get this show on the road.  Also, consider giving him seed money as I have done. When we have a candidate who is willing to stand up to the political machine, the least we can do is support him with a $5 donation. Please do it now.

Rene Lopez, Chandler City Council candidate: I’m proud to share that last week I was appointed to be the new Vice Mayor of Chandler! I was appointed to succeed my good friend and colleague Nora Ellen.I can’t begin to say how honored I am and how much I’m looking forward to serving Chandler residents in this capacity. I also appreciate my colleagues supporting me for this role, and I’m looking forward to working with Mayor Tibshraeny and the Council to advance the city forward in this new position. See more about the appointment this article featured on azcentral.com. – Rene Lopez – Vice Mayor of Chandler

CD3 candidate Sergio Arellano: While on the campaign trail I have listened from voters in every corner of Arizona Congressional District 3. Most often I hear of your concerns, your ideas, your hopes for a brighter future, and excitement for the strides we are makingto #RetireGrijalva. However, we can only #RetireGrijalva with your help and support.  To move us closer to our achieving our goal, I would like to invite you to a night of karaoke on July 15th from 4-8pm at Kon Tiki Restaurant in Tucson, AZ. We will all have a great time and I can share with you my plan to address your hopes and concerns as your next Congressman. Bring your singing voice and your best song. We are going to raise money and put Southern Arizona onto the path of growth and prosperity together! I look forward to seeing you there; however, if you are unable to attend the event, please share this event with your family, friends, and neighbors - encourage them to attend and/or make a campaign contribution to help us to victory!

Elected Officials Commentary

Phoenix Councilman Sal DiCiccio: City of Phoenix sells 10 lots appraised over $700,000 in one of the hottest areas in Phoenix for $50,000....to their developer. $5,000 per lot. This is just wrong. This is not fair to you and your family who have to pay the taxes for these insider giveaways. This is not a Republican or Democrat issue, this is an insider deal and these insider deals have no party affiliation. If you are wanting to know why I think city management is on the take, this is it and why I think it is time to replace the city manager. These cozy deals are definitely not protecting you and your family. City manager Ed Zuercher strongly recommended this sale The area: between I-10 and Van Buren from 7th to 16th St. The kicker? The appraisal is OVER one year old and property values are skyrocketing. Yes, the city manager used an outdated appraisal. Why??? I am demanding that the City Manager stop this deal and send it to the Attorney General for review to determine whether or not this violates the Gift Clause in our state constitution. - Sal DiCiccio -City of Phoenix Councilman, District 6 602-262-7491 council.district.6@phoenix.gov
