Anti-proxy Activist Archie Dicksion: I find it amazing at some of the people opposing HB2012. The argument is that we need to have someone amend the Bill to permit zero proxies, otherwise it is not worth the effort because it will not cure the problem. Over this past summer and fall there were precious few of you visiting the members of the House and Senate with me - urging the amendment to limit proxies. If you had, you would have quickly become aware of the fact that very few of them want to stick their neck out to support any kind of limitation. Good luck on getting one of them to sponsor an amendment to eliminate proxies altogether. Now the question becomes, would you rather have our current unlimited proxies or a limit of only 2 proxies? If you succeed in defeating HB 2012; then for at least 10 years, you will not be able to get any legislator to sponsor any legislation to limit proxy use. Further you will have absolutely no success in amending the AZGOP bylaws to limit proxy use.

Here are some thoughts:

· Unlimited use:

· 1 person appears with 15 proxies - 16 total votes cast - 15 proxy votes  - 1 warm body in a seat at the meeting

· 2 proxy limit

· 5 people appear with 2 proxies each total votes cast 15 - 10 proxy votes   5 warm bodies in a seat the meeting. (we are achieving at least one of our objectives and that is a larger physical turn out)

Last thought. HB2012 states you cannot carry more than 2 proxies. It does not prevent the LD, County or State from amending the bylaws to permit less. It is time to get real and withdraw your objection to the Bill and to give it your full support.

Fountain Hills Activist Nancy Plencner: Not being fans of Hollywood, we recently broke our vow of non-support to that industry by taking in a top rated movie The Darkest Hour.  Being history buffs the movie's main character - Winston Churchill, England's war time Prime Minister - was a siren's call for us as we settled into our comfy theater seats clutching bags of outrageously priced popcorn.  Two plus hours later, I felt elated with the story but disappointed there was not another hour to be had of this riveting performance.  An outcome of viewing the movie is that, in reflection, I find the movie shows a strong correlation between Winston Churchill in his fight to win what his War Cabinet called an unwinnable battle against the Nazi's; and Donald Trump as he fights what some consider an unwinnable war to Make America Great Again; noting that both world leaders were vilified by the media and often isolated from international support.  Churchill and Trump both men labeled by elitists as idiots, men out of control, unsuited to serve and dangerous.  And yet Churchill stood his ground and today Trump perseveres in the face of extreme animus.  In 1940 any number of the PM's advisors were in favor of making a deal with the Devil Adolf Hitler to prevent what they considered an unwinnable war on English soil.  While today Trump is waging a war some say is futile, a Herculean effort to turn our ship of state around and return America to greatness. The establishment was both men's enemy, their collective government’s impediments to the directions they wished to take their countries.  It is uncanny how much Churchill and Trump share similarities, both large imposing men, one a terrific orator who spoke directly to the British people and the other a direct communicator who bypasses the media to speak frankly to forgotten Americans.  Churchill, savior of England, defeater of the Nazi movement, and Donald Trump, a man of the 21st century who is determined to save America from the ravages of the Progressive Movement.  The comparisons are rather startling.

Dale Gohr of Clarksdale: During George W. Bush’s administration the Democrats were screaming that Bush lied to them about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction; when the nearest to a ‘lie’ may have been when Bush said British Intelligence has told us that Saddam Hussein had a stockpile of Weapons of Mass Destruction. In 1997-1999, the Democrats and political wannabes were spouting how dangerous it was to allow Hussein to have his hoard of weapons of mass destruction. Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, William J. Clinton, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton and a litany of others were on that list.

Today the Democrats are bellowing about the ‘Short Term Financial Fix’ of a ‘Continuing Resolution’ as opposed to a ‘Yearly Budget’ while during the Obama administration they lived on CR’s; albeit some were long term. In about 2013, a couple of Republicans filibustered to keep from funding “Obamacare” and Democrats were calling their effort “obstructionism and unamerican.” Now they are involved in a much deeper quagmire with the same basic tenets. Why are we fighting over the “Illegal Aliens” that Obama’s Executive Order codifies? The Path to Citizenship has been long established and a simple modification could allow a minor exception for only those that fall in the category of being “Obama Illegals”: Issue them a Special ID that can satisfy the legitimacy of being here; without granting citizenship until they complete the requirements for Legal Citizenship. Provisional or interim driver license could be arranged by each state that would satisfy legitimacy, without the “right to vote”.

Upon completion of the required immigration statutes, a green card and legal citizenship with voting rights would be established; just like any other Naturalized Citizen who entered the country legally. This should be established only for those already here and to eliminate the need for sponsorship - maybe they could claim Barack Hussein Obama as a sponsor! Granting citizenship is ludicrous just because they were brought. Let the Democratic Party increase its “Voter Base” with meritorious policy, instead of preying on the emotions of those that do not understand the principles, ethics and stability of a lawfully operated free market economy - with its necessary limitations and regulation.

Our system is not perfect, and some egregious missteps or mistakes have occurred in our History and passage of laws; however, I believe that the worst have been misunderstanding (as in the passage of the 16th and 17th Amendments) and in granting personal exceptions to Prominent Political Persons.

CD8 Candidate Clair Van Steenwyk: AZ is CD 8 For Sale Yet Again? Yes it is and just need to look to see it. There are signs on almost every corner the Career Politicians own the Real Estate at some places Signs on all 4 Corners. We'd installed 170 signs by Jan. 4th and stood alone for 10 days, then the Invasion started.  Career Politicians are putting up 2nd, 3rd and 4th stage of their signs. Considering the cost of signs, Installation,  Robo Calls, Mailers, Social Media Ads and TV,  they're Buying a Seat in CD 8 by the Career Politicians, certain none are self financed. I knew this is a blood sport, but really a 4 x 3 signs on corners in SCW even worse putting yard signs on mediums, side streets plus illegally attached to rails by drainage canals, no matter, Flaunt it.  Residents in SC and SCW communities it's Sign Litter nothing more. Running against Franks in 14 & 16 was bad as out spent, on both $17,500  to $525,000 to win and since resigned which ended  investigation and now defended even by my opponents, and I suppose they want his fans they need their Votes. The Presidential Race Clinton out spent Trump, however we won the Electoral Votes, but Senate or House Races  is all about the Money as indicated in the Polls, strategy of course not yet proven, as votes not yet counted to see if strategy worked.  Lesko, Lovas and Montenegro join in the Free Wheel Spending of $$$$$$$$$$$ loaned them to run, Stump doesn't appeared to be favored by similar Loaners etc. PACS, LOBBYISTS and GOP Elites never DONATE, basically  Loan buying the ears and Votes of  the Politicians, bad for our Republic. If voters reject Career Politicians, if not losing Career Politicians may run in August, as all about Numbers if they win without a clear majority we’ll see Round 2, and if I win certain to be challenged as we’ve been told by GOP Elites never want me in office, as certain they wouldn’t have my ear let alone my vote. When  $$$$$$$$$$$$’s  buy seats of government, we get bad government, not unlike the latter days of the Roman Empire, you bought a seat in Government, which lead to it’s eventual downfall and this will lead to ours, those who’ll sell their souls, will also Sell Our Freedoms.

SPECIAL NOTICE: The Democrats are way ahead of Republicans when it comes to grassroots activism. Evidence of this is the memo that has gone to their members regarding classes being held on Saturday. The AZGOP should be doing this, but they are not, so it is up to us to pick up the slack. You can get a lot of this information by going to Here is the text of the memo the Dems sent:

“Hi *******--
Join us for this important training! Request to speak (RTS) is one of the most powerful ways to make your voice heard at the legislature. There are a lot of questions about this relatively new tool, so we are thrilled to host this training. Our training is THIS Saturday at multiple times at Maricopa County Democratic Party Headquarters.”

The following table contains the results of recent votes on bills we are tracking. This information could be very valuable at election time, to evaluate whether candidates’ campaign rhetoric are supported or contradicted by their actions.
