Worst-Senators-And-House-Members-In-America Do you ever wonder why our borders remain open to illegal aliens, especially for the last 40 years?  Why haven’t our U.S. senators and House members stopped the enormous invasion of not only illegal aliens, but legal immigrants? What possible sane reason can 535 members of our U.S. Congress give for adding 100 million immigrants to our country since 1965?  Why do they flood us with 1.7 million legal and illegal immigrants annually?... Let’s start off with Senator John McCain (R-AZ) at 82 years of age. He stood at the 1986 Amnesty promising us that he would guard our borders and never allow more illegal immigration. Instead, 40 years later in his forever Congressional career, he’s nearly dead, but he continues to cling to power. He’s done NOTHING to secure our borders, and in fact created DACA to screw us again. And his State of Arizona faced a “State of Emergency” from millions of illegals crossing over Arizona’s border for the past 40 years. I’ve traveled along the border to see millions of pounds of trash, drug routes and more as Border Patrol Officers Gunny McCann and John Slagle showed me drug routes and layup stations. Yet, John McCain keeps the borders open 27/7, 365 days a year. Instead of a prisoner of war hero of the Vietnam War, he’s done nothing heroic for America or citizens in Arizona… Jeff Flake of Arizona along with Hatch of Utah might as well be hanging hoola hoops on the Washington Monument for their worth and work in DC

The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) will conduct an off-highway vehicle (OHV) sobriety checkpoint Sat, Feb. 17 on the Tonto National Forest north of Fountain Hills. AZGFD is conducting the checkpoint to ensure public safety by detecting and deterring impaired operation of OHVs. Those using an OHV are reminded to use the following safety tips:

· Never operate an OHV while impaired by alcohol or drugs.

· Helmets are required by law for all riders under the age of 18 regardless of the off-highway vehicle type. However, they are strongly recommended for all riders.

· Wear a seat belt at all times, if equipped.

· Only carry the number of passengers recommended by the manufacturer for your vehicle. Often many accidents are the result of too many people riding a machine that was designed for fewer passengers.

· Wear riding goggles, a long-sleeved shirt, pants, riding gloves and over-the-ankle boots.

· Never ride alone.

· Be prepared and equipped with a map, a first aid kit, whistle and have basic tools on hand.

· Stay on designated trails.

· Take an OHV safety education course designed to teach off-road motorists how to ride safely and responsibly.

· Remember, state law requires all OHVs in Arizona require a title, license plate and an OHV decal to operate on public and state trust lands.

Notes From Readers

Opinions expressed by readers are not necessarily those of the Briefs. Commentary running over 400 words is subject to editing. – ft

Zack Taylor, Chairman Mexico openly admits that they intend meddling in U.S. politics. And why is that overlooked?  Dreamers and DACA applicants are not only Illegal Aliens they are also potential meddlers in U.S. Politics. I will tell you why, because Americans believe fake news and ignore the facts. See Memo-From-Middle-America: Forget-Supposed-Russian-Meddling-Why-Is-Flagrant-Mexican-Meddling-Ignored-By-Our-Political-Class

Activist Peggy McClain: Regarding Dianne Woods reminder to put the flag out three more days this month, why not fly our beautiful American flag everyday?

Tom Morrissey, Past Chairman AZ GOP: Despite the open assault on Steven Seagal and my novel The Way Of The Shadow Wolves by the Left, it is doing very well.  They are treating it as if it is a work of fact, rather than fiction.  They are spewing their hate because the storyline calls attention to the severe damage that the Deep State is doing to our country and our culture. This book has struck a chord with many of those who demonstrate an intense hatred of President Trump and they are doing everything they can to silence this book.  But their efforts are not working because The Way Of The Shadow Wolves is at the number 15 position on Amazon's 10,00 book Kindle Genre "Native American Literature and Fiction".  The Left will not give up the ground they have gained in films, TV series and books but it's time their rule is challenged and we're just doing our part and hoping other authors and film producers will be doing the same because it drives them crazy.

Chairman Rev. Clyde Bowen, Arizona American African Republican Committee: A story for President Lincoln's Birthday. Around 1900, the great Russian author, Leo Tolstoy, was returning from a trip to Siberia and Russia. Upon arriving back in New York, he was interviewed by a reporter, who asked him about his trip. Tolstoy said, he had met some walled in barbarians in Siberia. They were very interesting. They knew who Tolstoy was and asked him to tell them stories of great leaders. Tolstoy told them of Alexander the Great, Napoleon and Julius Cesar. The Chieftain said, "but wait, tell of the greatest ruler of all, tell us of the man who spoke with the voice of thunder and whose laugh was like the sunrise. Tell us of the man from America, a country so far away, by the time a young man could travel there he would be an old man. Tell us of Abraham Lincoln. So Tolstoy told them stories about Lincoln. The New York reporter asked, why did the Chieftains want to hear about Lincoln. Tolstoy told him, the Chieftains said, Lincoln wasn't as great a field general as Napoleon or perhaps not as great a statesman as Frederik the Great, but the moral integrity of his character gave him the greatest gift of any ruler. Not bad for a man who didn't think he would be remembered. (paraphrasing from an interview with Doris Kearns Goodwin, historian and Pulitzer Prize winning author)

Moses Sanchez, A Longtime Ahwatukee Resident, has announced his candidacy for Mayor of Phoenix. Sanchez immigrated to the United States from Panama with his family when he was five years old. He is a Navy veteran who served one tour of duty in Afghanistan, and currently serves as a Navy reservist, teaches economics at South Mountain Community College, and runs a small business in Phoenix. In 2012, Moses Sanchez was elected to the Tempe Union High School District governing board where he advocated for quality education and school funding for Arizona students. Sanchez enters the race as the only outsider fighting for Phoenix families, giving him the unique ability to shake up the status quo and bring a new perspective to the Mayor’s office. “After receiving encouragement from families and business owners throughout Phoenix, I am excited to officially announce my candidacy for Mayor of Phoenix,” said Sanchez. “I love this city and the people that make it strong. But it has become clear we need new leadership at City Hall that works to solve problems for the people, not special interests. Simply put, Phoenix deserves better than the status quo. I am blessed to live in this great country and build a life for my family through hard work and community service,” said Sanchez. “My parents taught me early on to give back and serve our country, a nation that has afforded us so many opportunities. I am proud of my service in the US Navy, fighting to protect our country. Now, I want to fight for Phoenix families at City Hall. Whether it is running my small business or working with future leaders in the classroom at South Mountain Community College, I am ready to serve the people of Phoenix as their next Mayor.” Moses lives in Ahwatukee with his wife, Maria Manriquez, M.D. Moses is the father of three kids and grandfather to three grandchildren. Moses is the Director of Operations at Nonnahs Marketing, a digital marketing business he founded with his daughter, Shannon. Contact:

Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri: The Board of Supervisors granted an early retirement to K9 Hero, a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois.  His handler is Deputy Brigette McBride.  Trained as a Patrol and Explosives Detection K9, Hero assisted on numerous calls for service from felony assaults and home invasions to stolen vehicle and missing child calls.  He has conducted searches at high-profile sporting events such as the NCAA Final Four and Diamondbacks games at Chase Field.  Hero’s drive to work has declined significantly over the past several months and his desire to catch the bad guys is no longer there.  The Board unanimously voted to transfer ownership of Hero to Deputy Brigette McBride, the two have worked together on the K9 unit since 2016.
