What’s Going On With Candidates who refuse to debate their opponents? If they want the job they should be willing to participate in debates with their competition. Hey, Martha McSally, kicking people out of meetings for asking a question, isn’t a smooth move …voters can’t help but wonder what’s going on with you. – ft

What’s that old saying about what’s fair for the goose, is fair for the gander? Guess that doesn’t apply in Swampland, eh?? -ft

Derrik Rochwalik, chairman of The Maricopa County Young Republicans says they are excited to announce a partnership with the Arizona Federation of College Republicans, along with the Young Republican National Federation and the College Republican National Committee, to make calls for Debbie Lesko. Republican Debbie Lesko is running against Democratic millionaire Dr. Hiral Tipirneni for AZ Congressional District 8. Rochwalik says, “As we saw in Pennsylvania and Alabama, no historically Red district is safe! But why is this seat critical? Arizona is consistently being labeled as a battleground state in the next coming elections. Due to controversial district redraws back in 2010, our Congressional team sits at a 5-4 balance of Republican to Democrat. If we lose this Special Election, it'll tip the balance to the Democrats, almost ensuring our state becomes ripe for Democratic spending in 2018. We cannot allow another safe Republican seat fall to the Left!” Please sign up to start making calls ASAP

larry sorensonActivist Larry Sorenson: It is happening again, right here in the Beardsley precinct. Early this morning Hiral activists pulled up a bunch of Debby Lesko yard signs in our Arrowhead Lakes community. As during the Trump campaign, my small signs are under siege; in my own front yard! I guess that there really is an enormous void separating right and left. For example, I have no urge to pull up Hiral signs in spite of their childish expressions. Please join your fellow PC's in talking to friends and neighbors about the upcoming vote. There is actually a lot at stake right now.

sue goodchild 2014Yavapai County Activist Sue Goodchild: Sure don't like Debbie Lesko saying she supports teacher salary raises with funding by the feds in her TV ad I saw tonight....get the education back to the local leval and close down the federal dept. Of education,

zack taylorZack Taylor, Chairman NAFBPO This is well known within the Border Patrol, well concealed from public. Actually, it is quite possible the 50% apprehension rate may be optimistic.  Truth is, nobody knows that number. One has to wonder if there is any truth to the rumor that many agents assigned to administrative duties simply are incapable of performing patrolling the border duties? Perhaps dramatically lowering hiring standards to obtain numbers rather than quality contributed to this problem, not to mention dramatically reducing pay and retirement benefits which nobody wants to talk about. Read: border-patrol-agents-stuck-with desk-duty-amid-trump-ca/ Just 12 percent of agents actually patrolled border in key Texas sector

archie dicksionArchie Dicksion: The question is will those that received in state tuition now have to pay the balance owed buy them or will that unpaid balance be charged against those on the MCCCD board who voted to give in state tuition? One or the other or both should have to reimburse the state for that lost revenue.

Political Activist Lolly Hathhorn:  “It seems that McTraitor is the mouth that keeps on moving!  I cannot understand why he is not in Washington doing his job.  He seems to always have his tater trap going, so, why not do it at your work desk?  When is this person going to go away and stay away.  All of you people out there need to be sending in your requests that he stay home.  I hope that all of the conservatives start doing this.  Mr. McNasty needs to stop.  STAY HOME and Make My Day!  BTW, too bad Lori Klein-Corbin dropped out of running for SOS.  That’s all I have to say about that.

BarbaraBlogger Barbara Espinosa to Teresa Mendoza: Thank you for making video, 4-6-18-briefs I saw the interview and kept yelling at the screen ‘Answer the DAMN question’. I have posted the video on Lou-Dobbs-Holds-Az-Rep-Martha-McSally. hopefully it will get many more views. Derrik Rochwalik, Chairman Maricopa County Young Republicans: Thank you for keeping us all informed on a regular bases and a happy belated birthday to you! I'm sure you would not want to be spreading around misinformation, so I just wanted to shoot you over a quick correction to the 4-9-18 Briefs (Paradise Women’s Club meeting announcement). While the College Republicans United are a club on campus, they are not associated with the College Republican National Committee (CRNC). They are not the officially recognized club on campus. While Mr. Rick Thomas overstates his reasoning for creating his organization, and their size on ASU's campus, I understand there's not much you can do about someone's direct quote. It's a shame Mr. Thomas and his friends didn't win the three elections he ran for (Officer Elections, Special Election and Officer Elections at Turning Point USA) and felt the need to separate from the ASU College Republicans to form his own group with the executive position him and his friends had wanted. I'm sure the ASU College Republicans would be more than welcoming to having Mr. Thomas and his friends join again. It's always a shame when fellow patriots feel so disenfranchised after multiple election loses that they feel they need to splinter off and for a brand new organization. Our party cannot afford to fight ourselves when we need to put our focus into fighting the Democrats! I digress. I just wanted to reach out and give you some insight and correction as to the relationship between the CRUs and the CRNC.

Steve Parsons 2Republican Steve Parsons has officially announced his candidacy for Maricopa County Clerk of the Superior Court. Parsons, active in the Republican Party for more than 15 years, has assembled a top-notch group of grass-roots volunteers throughout Maricopa County. Committed and working together, their goal is to meet with leaders in every legislative district in the county and to reach out to all segments of our community. They are steadfast in their support of the campaign’s multi-faceted approach of walking neighborhoods, knocking on doors and making telephone calls for Steve. “As a business owner for more than 25 years, one of the most important things I have learned is the importance of developing and communicating with all stakeholders when building a team,” Parsons said. “I am planning on meeting as many voters in Maricopa County as possible in the days and months leading up to the August 28 primary election”. Steve Yarbrough, President of the Arizona Senate, states “I have known Steve Parsons for 50 years and in that time, I have observed first hand a hard-working, faithful man with a strong sense of integrity, justice and family values. Steve will make a great Clerk of the Superior Court”. Election day is Tuesday, August 28th, 2018. More information about Steve Parsons can be found by visiting his web site at

Martha McSally 3US Senate candidate Martha McSally: Friend — this isn't good. Our sources just informed us that my Democrat opponent Kyrsten Sinema will begin bombing the air waves with almost $750,000 worth of air time — a number that will only rise in the coming weeks. Kyrsten Sinema has made it clear she will pick the extreme policies of Democratic leadership over Arizona's middle-class families. Her track record shows her voting in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi more than 80% of the time. She voted against tax cuts, rolling back Obama regulations, and made the reckless choice to shut down the government over protecting illegal immigrants instead of supporting our troops. We cannot stand by while my Democrat opponent pours the Left’s lies into the ears and eyes of Arizona voters. That’s why we’ve set a newe goal of raising $100,00 in the next 48 hours to right back against these attack ads and set the record straight.Hitting this goal is critical to our success in November. I know $100,000 is a lot of money to raise, but television and radio ads are extremely expensive and are the best ways to reach voters and ensure they know the TRUTH about my campaign: Democrats have already named Arizona's Senate seat as their #1 target in 2018... the key to taking back the Senate. And handing over a majority to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer is a terrifying scenario for the future of our nation. chip in

john mccain 2Sen John McCain: I know a thing or two about tough fights. But the important thing to remember is that it takes spirit, grit, and drive, to overcome any challenge. While some are forged by the fire of combat, few can withstand the enduring heat. Let me assure you that my friend, Senator Debbie Lesko,Debbie Lesko is someone who has had her mettle tested and proven herself a true champion for hard-working Arizonans. The nation is watching Debbie's race. All over the country, political pundits and liberal activists are hoping Debbie fails. We won't let that happen. Rest assured, Debbie is outworking her opponent in CD8. But she can't do it without your help. I'm writing today to urge your support for Debbie Lesko. I've committed to help Debbie any way I can, which is why your immediate support is so important. Join me in supporting Debbie! Debbie has tackled tough challenges facing Arizona families: from pension reform and protecting school choice, to standing up for taxpayers and protecting Arizona's military installations, she has what it takes to fight for Arizona families, job creators, and educators. Debbie Lesko needs our help today. I'm doingeverything I can to help Debbie win and I hope you I'll do the same. Election day is right around each corner, so there's no time to waste. Donate to Debbie today! - McCain, Chairman, Country First PAC

Gov Doug Ducey 2015 2Gov Doug Ducey: The Arizona State Capitol Dome will be lit orange April 9-13, proclaimed Work Zone Awareness Week in Arizona by Governor Doug Ducey, in an effort to call attention to the importance of being alert when approaching and driving through work zones on Arizona roadways.“We want everyone to make it home safe,” said Ducey. “Paying attention when driving through work zones will keep safe the men and women who build and maintain Arizona’s roads as well as everyone traveling through work zones.” Being alert and paying attention to signage in work zones is especially important for motorists because national statistics show that vehicle occupants account for more than 80 percent of traffic fatalities that occur in work zones. In 2017 in Arizona, nearly 1,300 crashes occurred in work zones, resulting in 11 fatalities and 30 serious injuries. Nationally, the total number of worker fatalities in road construction sites rose from 130 in 2015 to 143 in 2016. Follow these tips when traveling through work zones:

· Pay attention: Observe and obey posted warning signs, as well as flaggers. You can be cited for disobeying a flagger’s directions.

· Expect the unexpected: Speed limits might be lowered, travel lanes could be narrowed or eliminated and people may be working near your travel lane.

· Slow down: Speeding is one of the leading causes of work zone crashes.

· Merge safely: Do it carefully and as directed by signage. In some locations a zipper merge may be used.

· Don’t tailgate: The most common crash in a work zone is the rear-end collision. Don’t follow too closely and, again, slow your speed. Visit
