zack taylorZack Taylor: As the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers..(NAFBPO) has advised the opioid epidemic is also a border security problem. So why are doctors being blamed for a problem for which they are clearly not responsible? pharmacists-warn-against-potentially-lethal-counterfeit-pills-laced-with-fentanyl painkiller-fentanyl-that-killed-prince-was-mislabeled-counterfeit-acetaminophen-hydrocodone-2016-8 Editor’s Note: Zack is the President of the NAFBPO.

Barbara BlewsterActivist Barbara Blewster: At 7 pm., Thurs., April 26, we will show a DVD on Article VI, explaining how it can be used instead of a constitutional convention to reign in big spending and abuses at 915 W. Fairway Drive 85201. East off Alma School, just South of light into Riverview. A man named Pearson Sharp from One America News was sent to Syria by the network. His report said the Assyrian people liked Assad (for which he interviewed about 50 people on the streets), there had been no chemical weapons launched, that some children came in followed by cameramen who hosed down the kids with water and took lots of pictures and then left. The supposed victims were to have had swollen and hurting eyes, but there was no evidence of that according to the doctors that were there. This is as phony as the 'Gulf of Tonkin'. Trump is listening to the Deep State. Please call him 202-456-1111 between 6 am and 1 pm Phoenix time and tell him that we need to bring our troops home. Period! Congress must declare war. The Rothschild Banking Interests (Henry Kissengers) want perpetual war. President Trump needs to be prayed for and to pray that he will follow the Constitution and not listen to the Deep State of Conspirators that campaign for perpetual war and World Government.

dave kopp 2AzCDL Chairman Dave Kopp: AzCDL’s position on SB 1519 after committee amendments: SB 1519 was heard in the Senate ComPS committee on Thursday, April 19. We opposed the introduced bill. However, an 82 page strike-everything amendment, that corrected most of the issues, was adopted at the committee hearing. STOP orders have been significantly modified. Only after the court has found that sufficient evidence is present, after hearings and an evaluation have taken place, can firearms restrictions be imposed. We believe this represents a significant improvement over the original proposal. If these amendments are adopted by the Senate, we will change our position to neutral. And while we certainly appreciate the cooperation of the Governor’s office and various legislators in bringing these changes about, we feel that it’s necessary to explain why we still do not support the bill.
We have always believed that, when it comes to the safety of our children, the concept of STOP orders misses the mark. While no one wants dangerous people running around with guns, why are they running around at all? Do we not grasp that they can walk out of their evaluation and purchase gasoline, matches, knives, impact weapons, bomb making materials, cars or trucks, etc., which they can use to murder people? Not to mention that they can just obtain another gun. If a person is so dangerous that they should not be allowed to have a gun, then they certainly should not be allowed out amongst the public. Realistic solutions should focus on keeping dangerous people away from the people they might harm.
Then there is the problem of so-called “gun free zones”, schools being the largest and most obvious. How many times does a lunatic with a gun have to show up in one of these before we grasp the fact that the only people free of guns are the people getting killed trying to protect our children. Every time one of these armed lunatics has arrived and started killing, people with guns are called to handle the problem. Do we not understand that having people with guns already there is a better option?

Yet there is very little in the bill to address this issue. There are some positive additions, but they don’t go nearly far enough. Other states have moved towards arming faculty and staff. At the very least, the bill should provide for a panel or study committee to look at how other states are dealing with this. In addition, there are still several issues with the bill’s language that should be addressed. Obviously, we would be opposed to so-called “universal background checks”, bans on “bump fire” stocks, etc. There were, however, many good points raised in committee, such as the provision of legal representation for the indigent, as well as proper training for “evaluation agencies. The language is not yet set in stone, so presumably there is still time to make it better. In summary, while we do believe the bill is no longer the egregious threat to our liberties that it started as, it still needs work before we can consider it to be a positive contribution to the public policy of our great state. We look forward to continuing to ensure that SB 1519 remains on a positive path forward.

Sergio ArellanoCD3 candidate Sergio Arrellano: Rep. Raul Grijalva is making news again. As usual, the news is not good, but this time, the news is good for Arizona! It seems that his constituents have caught onto the fact that he is not serving them. So, they are not serving up campaign contributions! They are ready for change. I represent that change. I am asking you to contribute any amount you can to my campaign, the campaign of the people so that we can make your voice be heard in Washington. Grijalva has proven his money does not come from the people but from entities outside the state. NOW is the time and your support can help make that a possibility. Please help me bring much needed representation to the people of CD3. If the election were held today, would you vote for: A Wounded Warrior US Army Veteran or a 20 plus year member of Congress?  Arellano4Congress2018/

Dave Giles CD9CD9 candidate Dave Giles: I am for the people, not the establishment! I stand with better business, the second amendment, more border security, protecting & appreciating our United States Veterans and most importantly, putting America first! #GilesForCongress #CandidateYouKnow Do you have questions about #Arizona's legislation, laws or want to know more about me and why I will make a great congressman? Even further, let me know what you would like to see change in your district! Please sign my petition online at the Secretary of State Website. 480-664-4971

kelli wardUS Senate candidate Dr Kelli Ward: The campaign just released a brand new ad that we want to air far and wide. It's about our unsecured southern border and shows rare footage of the four, flimsy strands of barbed wire that separates the United States from Mexico. watch here. We chronicle Congress’s three-decade long broken promise to secure the US southern border, which began with a commitment to President Ronald Reagan in 1986... We also provide a special behind-the-scenes look at Dr. Kelli Ward’s recent tour of the Arizona-Mexico border with cattle rancher Jim Chilton – a true American patriot who Congress is doing nothing to help right now. Make no mistake: I'll work with President Trump to build the wall... something the establishment politicians in both parties refuse to do, despite folks like Jim Chilton who have been waiting decades for action. Like my ‘Republican’ opponent, many in Congress have shown that they’d much rather focus on granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants instead of securing the borders as has been promised for decades. Patriot, that's why I'm asking for your support today. It's time for fresh blood and new ideas in Congress to advance the America First agenda – that’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate.
