JS Powelson former PC LD13: It is sad the way our government has kept people in the dark and encouraged small minded protests against guns, self preservation and defense of our country. It is obvious to me that the children in the schools are being used as political change agents by the teachers and political operatives above them in the unions or political groups teachers participate with. Some of the items showing up should get the teacher locked up for sexualizing children. Many examples exist but I will put one on the bottom of this. Also the hiding of studies, government conducted, which show that Americans use firearms to defend themselves and their families, more than two million times per year, from criminals and people trying to do them harm.  /cdc-gun-study-shocking-finding Working against any of the precepts of our Constitution is an act against the oath they have taken to defend that Constitution. Every time the teachers speak to the children, anyone under the age of 18, about any opinion they should have or sexual preference, lifestyle or sexual acts of any sort it is, in my opinion, sexualizing a child. This is institutionalized pedophilia, no person should broach these subjects with children except for their parents or guardians at home, never in a school atmosphere. This photo was supposedly taken in a second grade class. I don’t know the background but this is abuse whatever the grade it was used in. We have ignored the education industry way to long. It is about time to take back the classrooms and management of the schools from those who wish to destroy our country and children through use of the education systems. Enough is enough, let’s pass some laws making this kind of crap a crime for which teachers are fired and can never teach again, second we need to get involved with the schooling of our kids and grandkids. Don’t sit and watch while they burn down the country around our ears, stand and fight!!!

Alarry sorensonctivist Larry Sorenson: I was told that we have a victory and asked that this note be sent. Thank you all for your encouragement which really kept me going these past few days. It is wonderful to know you all. Now we rest up till August when I will again do what I can for the cause of freedom in America and sanity in Arizona. Congratulations to you all.

Steve Slaton 2Steven Slaton, NCRC Chair:: The Commission on Judicial Conduct has open an investigation case on the miss-conduct of Judge pro-tem David Martin .Navajo County Chairman Steven Slaton filed a complaint with the Arizona Supreme Court on the case against Jim Vance and others for taking of control and monies of the Navajo County Republican Committee.  The Superior Court of Navajo County never notified Slaton on the judge. Pro tem Judges if assigned has to be given consent by both parties. This did not happen. Also a Complaint is being filed with the Arizona State Attorney General Office on the failure of the Clerk Of The Court not notifying Slaton on the Judge as well after many attempts by. Slaton to find out who was the assigned Judge. Slaton found out through the paper. Slaton has a witness in the failure of the clerk’s office of Navajo County. We'll keep you posted. Editor’s Note: Slaton and Jim Vance both claim to be the Navajo County Republican Chairman at this point in time. - ft

AzRA Navajo County President Karen M MacKean: Thank youKaren MacKean, for staying on top of this travesty of MIS-JUSTICE by the AZ GOP Chairman Lines and Sylvia Allen.   There is no greater injustice than for those in charge to ignore the rule of law...those duly elected who have taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution have become the predators who do just the opposite.    The despicable actions of both Allen & Lines, not to mention Jimmy Vance, has been well documented... summarizing it will be helpful for Brenda Barton's campaign against Allen this August.     Contact: 520-444-6880 Editor’s Note: MacKean is the president of both the AZRA Navajo County and White Mountains Conservatives.

Bruce Piepho - 2Bruce M Piepho, Cochise County PC/SC: Since my 4-20-18 Briefs there has been communications between me and both the Slaton Group and the Vance Group. Both groups probably will not like my additional comments and observations. I was asked why - I in Sierra Vista got involved.  It is easy to understand.  I am a PC and more importantly an SC concerned with the upcoming November 2018 election.  Republican voters deserve party unity from top to bottom. Arizona is targeted to flip from red to "blue" making the November 2018 elections very important.  When/if Arizona becomes a ‘blue’ state, some PCs may think GOP leadership did not take enough preventive action.  If the party leaders don’t care, that indicates the PCs that elected them don’t care, so why bother? Well I am taking the time to bother and hopefully help gain party unity. Some of my conclusions on April 20 were premature regarding NCRC officer removal. I supported Steve Slaton. He in my opinion is a patriot and willing to help remove the current AZGOP Chairman and update the AZGOP by-laws. But I have taken a neutral position going forward. The Special Meeting aspect that Slaton and I say was the correct procedure was avoided by Vance. The Vance Group did not have confidence the appointed secretary would issue a call letter. She was not elected but instead was appointed after the NCRC by-laws were adopted on January 5, 2017. The key word is appointed and I will have more later comments on that aspect of the by-laws. NCRC by-laws: “Removal of Officers.- An Elected Officer of the NCRC may be removed at any time by a vote to that effect by three quarters (¾) of the Voting Members of the NCRC, but may not be removed at a Special Meeting unless the proposed removal is set forth in the call of the Special Meeting as one of the items of business for such meeting.”  The “at any time” does not explicitly require to hold a removal meeting by one of the four by-law defined meetings.Vance stated: "I never called for a "special meeting." It was a meeting I called to remove an oppressive and tyrannical executive committee in compliance with the NCRC By-Laws. I hope this helps you understand the process." The you was directed at me – I understand. The Special Meeting procedure was not explicitly required in the by-laws.

American Post-Gazette - Pot Tax For Teacher Pay: Arizona teachers will be able to be self-funded if the state legalizes recreational marijuana. This is probably just what many of the 57,000 public school teachers in our state have been hoping for – getting a higher salary while getting high on pot. It certainly fits the leftist agenda so many of them are bringing to their classrooms. For the past several decades public classrooms around the country have been petri dishes for liberal propaganda – rewriting history by virtually wiping out the true stories of our remarkable Founders and what they stood for; dissing anything contributed by “old white men” as racist, sexist, homophobic, etc., etc. (you know the drill); calling the U.S. Constitution “irrelevant,” and “out of date;” kicking God out of the schools; Judeo-Christian values – out!; and the leftist list goes on.

The children of the 60s hippies are now in charge of our public schools and, much like their parents, they believe in “free love” and “doing your own thing,” with little or no respect for those who made this country the exceptional nation it is. The left doesn’t believe we are any more exceptional than, say, Finland, or Greece, or Liberia. “Hey, man, we’re all exceptional.” Everyone gets a participation trophy. E pluribus unum – "Out of many, one," is the official motto of the United States. We used to consider ourselves a melting pot. Immigrants from all over the world, coming to America (legally), learning English, becoming part of the American culture, becoming one people -- Americans. The left wants us to be a salad, not a melting We have become balkanized – left vs. right; rich vs. poor; white vs. color; hetero vs. homo; male vs. female; old vs. young; people of faith vs. non-believers; gun owners vs. gun-haters.

Arizona is not immune. Even as conservative as our great state is, the elements of division are all around us. The current division is being driven by a few radical liberals using low teacher pay to drive a wedge between political parties and within parties, between teachers and parents and legislators, between friends and family members. And now even more division has entered the debate. A new proposal to satisfy the teacher pay issue has reared it smokey head – use the taxes from legalized pot sales to fund education. With this latest tax proposal, our schools may literally “go to pot.” The pro-pot crowd has been trying every tool in the tool chest to get pot legalized nationwide – "it saves lives;" "it will add to the public treasury;" "it’s inevitable." And now, of course, “it’s for the children.” You knew it would eventually come to that. The deterioration of our nation, of our culture, of our very existence, continues its downward spiral. Legalizing recreational pot is just one more step towards our destruction. But – “Hey, man, let’s all get high together – it’s for the children.” - J. Madison

Sylvia Allen 6 SenSen Sylvia Tenney Allen: As we come out of the recession and revenues have increased we have put that money into education.  We Republican legislators support teachers raises and that will be reflected in our budget.

The problem is that Left’s propaganda machine supported by the main stream media, encouraged by school administrators, has given this false impression that we are somehow hostile to education when that is totally not the truth.  Also, we do not micro manage the dollars they are given to local school boards and they create their own budget.  Teachers do not work for the Legislators they work for local school districts and charters who determine their salary.

The Legislators only have the money the economy creates.  We can’t print money.  What we are being pressured to do is raise taxes on everyone.  This is not necessary; our revenues are increasing and as they do so we put that money into education.  Look at the information below. The walkout is not necessary but only counterproductive.

  • Even before state budget has been finalized, legislators have committed $667 million in yearly education funding
  • This is the result of a bill that continues an additional .06 cent tax
  • Prop 301 ends in 2021, and this bill will keep that money flowing to education
  • In addition, the bill also shifts $64 million from a debt service program to another fund dedicated to teacher pay

  • Arizona public schools received more than $350 million in additional dollars for Fiscal 2018
  • The budget included nearly $80 million for inflationary increases
  • $84 million was added for enrollment growth
  • $21 million in new money went to special needs and charter schools
  • Teachers saw a 2% pay raise over 2018 and 2019, totaling $68 million
  • That money committed for 2019 will obviously be greatly increased in our new budget for this year
  • The best performing schools were rewarded with more than $37 million in ongoing formula funding
  • Early literacy programs received $8 million in 2018 and $12 million more in 2019
  • Legislature committed an additional $17 million for school repairs
  • Nearly $63 million was devoted to new school construction projects
  • An additional $38 million was set aside for 2019 new construction

  • Proposition 123 was approved by legislators and sent to the voters
  • It injected $3.5 billion over ten years into the K-12 education system
  • In addition to the massive infusion of new dollars, the Legislature added more than $200 million in additional dollars
  • The budget included $132 million in new formula funding
  • An additional $31 million went to schools adjusting to current-year funding
  • An additional $30 million was appropriated to the School Facilities Board
  • $6.5 million went to the phase-out of the multi-site charter school weight
  • $1.2 million was dedicated to the phase-out of district sponsored charter schools
  • $46 million went to new school construction
  • $29 million went to Joint Technical Education Districts

kelli ward 2018 aUS Senate candidate Kelli Ward: With Arizona’s open U.S. Senate seat among the top targeted races in the country this year, Ward has announced key members of her campaign team including national and in-state campaign veterans. “Arizonans want to see bold Republican ideas for economic growth, secure borders, and powerful national defense put into action,” said Ward. “President Trump is delivering for the American people, but much more work remains to be done.  I couldn’t ask for a more talented and prepared campaign team that is ready for everything the Democrats will try to do to take this seat.”
Shawn Dow will serve as campaign manager.  Dow was the manager of Rep. David Schweikert’s successful 2012 re-election campaign, and the Arizona campaign director for Rand Paul’s 2016 presidential campaign.  Dow adds more than a decade of experience overseeing statewide campaigns to Ward’s operation.
Ron Nehring, the presidential campaign spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz’s 2016 campaign, will serve as Senior Communications Adviser.  Nehring was twice elected Chairman of the California Republican Party, four times Chairman of the Republican Party of San Diego County, and was the 2014 Republican nominee for Lt. Governor of California.
Dr. Mark Campbell, a longtime presidential campaign veteran, will serve as Research Director for the campaign.  In 2008, Campbell was appointed national political director of Rudy Giuliani's 2008 presidential campaign where he worked with Jason Miller, senior communications advisor for Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign. In 2015, Cruz announced Campbell would serve on his presidential campaign as political director. Campbell also worked on George H.W. Bush's 1988 presidential campaign, and for his son, George W. Bush, as a consultant on the 2000 presidential election recount.
They will join Eric Beach and Brent Lowder, who both serve as general consultants for Ward’s campaign. Beach and Lowder served as the founder and executive director, respectively, of Great America PAC, which raised and spent nearly $30 million in support of President Trump's candidacy in 2016. The campaign leadership announcement follows the Ward campaign passing $2 million in total contributions and an Arizona poll last week showing Ward with a nine-percentage-point lead over her closest primary opponent. Ward is a leading GOP candidate to replace retiring Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake in the U.S. Senate in 2018. Ward’s campaign has an unmatched grassroots network across Arizona and has continued to grow and expand national and in-state support.

Wendy Rogers 2014CD1 candidate Wendy Rogers, a conservative entrepreneur and retired Air Force pilot, who supported Donald Trump in the primaries, visited the Timberline Firearms and Training in Flagstaff over the weekend to highlight her staunch defense of American's right to keep and bear arms. Rogers speech/video Rogers' Facebook page. Rogers' speech: "I'm Wendy Rogers, conservative Republican running for Congress in Arizona's 1st Congressional District. I am here at Flagstaff's Timberline Firearms and Training to celebrate the amendment that defends all the other amendments. That's right, the 2nd Amendment. Think about it - without the 2nd Amendment, we lose our ability to defend freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and our freedom of religion. Without the 2nd Amendment - the right to keep and bear arms - we can't defend our right to due process and a speedy trial, and we certainly couldn't defend states' rights under the 10th Amendment. It's time.  Liberals - leave our guns alone!  Gun free zones and banning AR-15s will not fix school violence. You know what will fix school shootings?  Embracing the family, respecting authority, taking real responsibility, and putting God back in schools. Liberals kicked God out of our schools when the Supreme Court said our children couldn't pray in school anymore. Responsible, grown-adult teachers and administrators should conceal carry. The fact that some schools use rocks and baseball bats instead of firearms to defend against crazed attackers is ludicrous. As a member of Congress, I will always defend your right to keep and bear arms. I am going to DC to protect you and your God-given rights. Please support me in this cause. Please help me take back this seat from the Democrats, who want take away your ability to defend yourself. Thank you for your time. Let's win." Rogers is a retired Air Force officer who retired at the rank of Lt. Col., became one of the U.S. military’s first female pilots, and is an entrepreneur and homeschool mom.  Please contribute

Andy BiggsCongressman Andy Biggs on U.S. District Judge John Bates ruling against the Trump administration’s order to rescind Obama Administration’s unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. “Judge Bates’ ruling is another outrageous, extra-constitutional judicial usurpation of the separation of powers. In his attempt to act as a super-legislator, Judge Bates has promoted chaos. President Trump was fully within his right to rescind the previous administration’s memorandum, that deferred action on certain illegal aliens, and I am hopeful that this case will make its way to the U.S. Supreme Court. President Trump and the U.S. Congress must use the constitutional authority afforded to the Executive and Legislative Branches to push back against the Judiciary’s unlawful breach of its jurisdiction. First, President Trump should direct his officials to disregard this ruling and continue to unwind the DACA program. Second, Congress should assert its authority to legislate regarding these issues. Finally, Congress can take action against judges, who abuse their constitutional mandates. We must have constitutional order and ensure that radical members of the Judiciary do not upset the designs of our constitutional republic.”
