Colorado River Tea Party –Yuma Sec. Cora Lee Schingnitz: The Colorado River Tea Party wishes to release an official statement regarding the media’s inaccurate reporting on the event which took place Thursday, June 21, 2018. Don Shooter LD13 SenThat evening KYMA reporters were greeted with respect in the parking lot where the Colorado River Tea Party was hosting a potluck dinner with Don Shooter as their special guest. A Tea Party representative informed them that that it was a dinner party, that Don Shooter would not grant any interviews at that time, and that the meeting would not be recorded.

At no time were guns “brandished” or “flashed.” At no time did anyone tell the reporters to “get out!” They were politely informed that no interviews would be granted as the potluck dinner was hosted so that supporters could meet with Mr. Shooter, and he did not want to dishonor the event.  They were asked to contact Mr. Shooter and set up an appointment at a different time for a more focused interview. It was also reported that Mr. Shooter refused to address the residency issue. He absolutely did.  Yes, he owns other houses, but he has always considered Yuma as his home.  It would probably be to his political advantage to claim his house in Phoenix as his permanent residence, as 2/3 of his voters reside in that area, but he especially committed to representing Yuma, and it is really important that Yuma be strongly represented. We are going to war over water, and we need people who are committed to protecting Yuma’s water rights.

Reporters are always welcome at Colorado River Tea Party events, but they should respect the rules of our guests, and above all, they should report honestly, factually.

tom morrisseyFormer AZGOP Chairman Tom Morrissey: Received this Wall Street Journal article from a trusted friend and consider it more than worthy of a read. It is amazing to see just how contagious a lie can actually get to be. The only prediction -gone-wrong, which is missing from this 1980's "scientist" report, is the plight of the polar bears.  Thirty Years On, How Well Do Global Warming Predictions Stand Up

zack taylorZack Taylor, President: A little known Border Patrol function is desert operations that frequently result in rescue and too often body recovery. To get a sense of what BORSTAR does please watch this video.  And yes, 124 degrees F ambient temperature is not uncommon out on the Sonoran Desert.  Imagine what the ground temperature is?   Risk Takers - Border Patrol

Barbara Medal 2Activist Barbara Medal: I suppose it is good to have Jeff Sessions quoting the bible even if he is not relevant nor in proper context. However I would rather have this mealy mouthed sellout quote the Constitution and the laws he has failed to enforce. Or why he has not defended our POTUS and seems to be missing in action more often than not. Wonder if it was Sessions who prompted POTUS to appoint Christopher Wray to head the FBI. It is hard to understand why he still collects his salary provided by the tax paying people he is stabbing in their hardworking backs. Or why POTUS doesn’t fire his sorry good for nothing candy butt.

phil woolbright 2Brianna Rafidi: Phillip Woolbright is a true leader in all that he does. He has a love for justice and has been to my door to meet me. Reading over his accomplishments, they are vast. He has overcome false accusations, and he is strong in his faith. He is an impartial judge, serves a community selflessly, is an honorary volunteer, gives free consulting advice, is a home builder, basketball official, missionary with his church, and computer chip designer. He plays guitar in a band, is a loving father, counsels youth, performs juggling for kids, helps the homeless, and donates to nonprofit organizations. He has a humanitarian heart, talent and smarts! He shows true dedication. He personally asked me for my vote.

Dale GohrClarkdale Resident Dale Gohr: Discrimination - Sarah Huckabee Sanders with her family and Kristjan Nielsen have each been taunted, harassed and essentially forced to leave a publicly accessible café, restaurant or whatever name the eating joint or hamburger stand has. I believe they should take a page from the Progressive/Liberal/Leftist playbook and file a lawsuit against the Establishment and additional lawsuits against any identifiable hecklers. The grounds for the lawsuit, being discrimination or an appropriate label that some legal-minded pundit can come up with. They probably should file for a minimum of $1M against the busines and for at least $250,000 against each and every one of the agitators (hecklers or whatever else you can legally call them). The litigation process may be long because of having to Establish a Persistent; however, I honestly believe it would be worth it. I have no formal legal training, but I believe the; anguish, humiliation, and mortal fear; from such an encounter could possibly bring on some kind of distress disorder especially on those like Sarah’s children and the trauma on the adults cannot or at least should not be summarily dismissed either. The above is just thoughts or maybe justice thoughts. Maxine Waters said this was just the beginning and if someone pays attention to ideas like mine; there may come a day before long, when we will be able to say “OK Maxine, Bring them on!”

Fountain Hills Activist Nancy Russell: 66% of Arizona's third graders are not proficient in reading!  And apparently it only gets worse grade after grade, so that by high school a whopping 71% of students recently tested were found not proficient in reading.  How can the educational bureaucracy continue to demand more taxpayer dollars when the outcome of their work product is so pitiful?  What educational unions and their radical leaders are highly proficient at is urging teachers to dress in red and march in the streets leaving their school rooms empty, deserting thousands of children who do not understand why there is no school day for them.  In any other industry or profession (and educators demand to be categorized as professionals even as they strike) these actions and subsequent poor outcomes would not be tolerated, excused or in the absurd, even remotely be given a minute's consideration for higher pay. In fact in the private sector they most likely would have been fired and replaced with a more competent workforce.  And yet the media giants and talking heads still can't understand why education "customers", parents, tax payers, businesses are in growing numbers choosing alternatives to public schools in the private/charter school system.

tristan manos 2017LD24 PC Tristan Manos sharing historical quotes on American Citizenship: 1) First President George Washington wrote (HERE 11/15/1794): "[As] to emigration, there is no need of extra encouragement: [immigrants] retain the language, habits & principles (good or bad) which they bring with them; whereas, by an intermixture with our people, they, or their descendants, get assimilated to our customs, manners and laws: in a word, soon become one people." James Iridell, appointed by George Washington to the First U.S. Supreme Court, wrote (HERE 4/11/1799): "Aliens coming [here] must, or ought to know, this being an independent nation, it has all the rights concerning removal of aliens which belong by the law of nations to any other; that while he remains in the country [as] an alien, he can claim no other privilege than such as an alien is entitled to; and consequently, whatever risk he may incur in that capacity, is incurred voluntarily, with the hope that in due time, by his unexceptionable conduct, he may become a citizen of the United States."

    2) Second President John Adams wrote (HERE 1820): "There is one principle which pervades all the institutions of this country, which must always operate as an obstacle to the granting of favors to newcomers. This is a land, not of privileges, but of equal rights. Privileges are granted by European sovereigns to particular classes of individuals, for purposes of general policy; but the general impression here is that privileges granted to one denomination of people, can very seldom be discriminated from erosions of the rights of others. Emigrants coming here, are not to expect favors from the governments. They are to expect, if they choose to become citizens, equal rights with those of the natives of the country. To one thing they must make up their minds, or, they will be disappointed in every expectation of happiness as Americans. They must cast off the European skin, never to resume it."

    3) Third President Thomas Jefferson wrote (HERE 5/2/1801): "Born in other countries, yet believing you could be happier in this, our laws acknowledge, as they should do, your right to join us in society, conforming, as I doubt not you will do, to our established rules. That these rules shall be as equal as prudential considerations will admit, will certainly be the aim of our legislatures, general & particular." Contact:

wes harris 1State Committeeman Wes Harris to State, County and City of Phoenix officials: We have all at some time or other talked about the 500 lb gorilla in the room known as unfunded pension liabilities. The article The-Pension-Train-Has-No-Seat-Belts about Europe's situation shows that by including the rest of the world with us there is not enough money in the world's economy to fund the 'empty' promises we continue to make to our public (and private) workers who, when they retire at the absurd ages we have in the City of Phoenix, will generate a great number of moans and groans when the checks start bouncing. The City kicked the public safety unfunded liability down the road an additional five years (with the complicity of the State) as if what is going on now is somehow going to change.  That is pure folly and until we identify the problem in a pragmatic way that our President would do, we will never come to grips with it.  I believe that this is so serious that if not already done the City needs to establish a sub committee comprised of financial executives from our citizenry as well as those from our financial department to quantify and codify the situation and using actuaries start coming to grips with how we intend to fund it.  That funding will be painful and will have to come from cuts in the budget from elsewhere including the numbers of employee on the payroll me thinks.  But that will be up to the Sub Committee to determine but determine we must!

To me, the first thing we need to do is establish a new pension plan for new hires and freeze the existing plans so that they do not continue to grow.  I know the argument against that will be that we need the new hire's money to "pay Paul" but that will never stop the hemorrhaging.  We have to make the difficult decisions in a critical and timely way. I hope that you will take the crisis seriously because We the People are looking to you our elected Representatives to make the difficult decisions.  These, as I am sure you will agree, cannot be made in secret.

DiCiccio headshotPhoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio: Phoenix unemployment plummets to 3.4%; Nearly 62K jobs gained in May - The Phoenix metro gained nearly 62,000 jobs in May 2018 over a year earlier, according to the employment report from the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity. The unemployment rate in Phoenix plummeted 0.7 percent to 3.4 percent compared to May 2017. More than 87 percent of the jobs created in Arizona were generated in the Phoenix metro. Arizona’s unemployment rate declined to 4.7 percent from 4.9 percent last year. The national unemployment rate declined 0.5 percent to 3.8 percent 2018 over 2017. The total Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale metro workforce, both Maricopa and Pinal counties, increased to 2.84 million from 2.77 million a year earlier. In month-over-month data, the metro lost 6,700 jobs, but retains steady job growth for the second quarter of 2018. The most jobs lost, 5,500, were government positions, and nearly 5,000 of those were in state government.

Ken Bennett - flagGubernatorial candidate Ken Bennett: Voters Win!  You put me on the Republican Primary ballot to be Governor. In under five weeks we got 6,224 signatures with a 27% cushion. Governor Ducey's team saw your hard work so he offered money to a signature gatherer to not help me and she refused. So less than an hour before the deadline they file a lawsuit challenging the petitions. The lawsuit tried to throw out 12 entire petitions - that I personally gathered! 12 sheets with 10 names each for a total of 120 signatures that I held in my hand, looked the person in the eye, and asked them to sign. I am the candidate and the former Secretary of State and they were trying to throw out petitions I gathered!

Just think about that. They came up with 19 separate complaints, such as 'missing address' or 'illegible' and then tried to invalidate the entire sheet of 10 signatures. My mother and sister, who have been politically active for years in their hometown, were also on the list to throw out entire sheets. They knew it was all a ruse and withdrew the complaint the day of the trial. Let's win this Arizona. Honesty still matters. Please help me win the Republican primary to be the Governor of Arizona.

phil woolbright 2Arrowhead JP candidate Phillip Woolbright: Woolbright wins for youth, wins for the judiciary and wins for what is right. A Referee can be a hero or a villian. Being a team player refereeing youth basketball has its rewards and challenges. A referee can be a hero in the eyes of some and a villain to others. Still, a fair and impartial call is always the desired outcome in a fair game and in the court. Wisdom and integrity are both qualifying attributes in fair play and fair rulings. The circumstances of life mold and make a man shine with quality, fortitude and reason. Woolbright a man with a sound mind, a caring heart and sustainable judgments. Voting for him puts Woolbright back on the bench serving this community, overcoming, showing rehabilitation to others, wisdom, experience like no other, your vote matters to his success.
